Snowfall, slow burns, and a lumberjack with a heart of gold.
When designer Nova Kitt accepts a winter job decorating the new ski resort, Winterpine Ridge, she expects long hours, cozy nights and to fill her Christmas loving heart—not to fall for the rugged owner of the local tree farm.
Kale Kona, the shy face behind Alohi Fir Co., has spent years buried in work and grief, his world as quiet as the snow covered forest he calls home. But when Nova steps into his life to buy trees for the lodge—she stirs a magic in him he thought he’s lost forever.
What begins as a business arrangement soon turns into something deeper. Together they find comfort, joy, and an unexpected nostalgia.
Set in the magic of pine-scented mountains and steamy nights, Unwrapped on Christmas is a story about healing hearts, rediscovering joy, and falling in love when you least expect it.
This dual POV winter romance is hotter than peppermint lattes and sweeter than cocoa.
Unwrapped on Christmas was such a cozy, fun read! I loved Nova. She’s an interior designer, wedding planner, event coordinator, and full-on book lover. She’s juggling everything, and when she enlists Kale, the Hawaiian tree-farm lumberjack hunk, to help decorate the lodge for a holiday event, sparks (and tension!) fly immediately.
Nova has a secret that no one knows… except Kale. The twist? He’s known since day one—she just doesn’t realize it yet. Their dynamic is full of playful banter, slow-burn romance, and so much heart.
I loved how Kale picks up reading after his late sister’s book falls off a shelf shortly after Nova comes into town. And Nova joking about finding her High Lord at a fantasy ball? Little does she know, Kale will deliver. Their chemistry is just adorable.
If you want a heartwarming holiday romance with charm, tension, and swoon-worthy moments, this one’s a must-read!
5🌶️ 5⭐️ 5🎄 And she does it again. Miss Harris never fails to create men that make me foam from the mouth. I’m not typically one for the reversing of roles but the way Kale worships this woman is so incredibly HOT. Another direct hit on the nail with the cozy vibes and spice. I love how well the characters are developed considering how short the story is. This book definitely has me wanting to hang out at my local tree farm, maybe I’ll pick up a lumberjack like Kale.
Nova was naughtier than I expected! Another excellent follow up to Checked out on Halloween, and Love Harvested on Thanksgiving. We get a little touch of Opal and Alex, but really focus on Nova and her secret. The book is focused a little bit outside of Oakridge so we explore more of the area. Sexy and fun with a little bit of mystery.
The kindle version just starts you on chapter one, and I should have swiped back and looked for content warnings. This one was not at all what I expected from just the description and was so not for me.
