Mais um volume maluco e bem divertido de Dandadan, que dá continuidade ao arco do Kaijuu, apresenta novos personagens e indica um possível futuro vilão para nossos protagonistas. Além disso, o humor continua presente, causando momentos de risadas naturais ao leitor, sem forçar a barra.

Nesse volume, após o grupo vencer o Kaijuu utilizando um “megazord”, descobre-se que uma alienígena chamada Bamora estava controlando o monstro, e agora, os protagonistas precisam entender as intenções da personagem, bem como seus objetivos na terra, entretanto, ela não fala a língua dos humanos, logo não é possível dialogar com ela.

Mesmo assim, Momo a abriga em sua casa, que já virou até uma espécie de base para a equipe, e inclusive a leva para escola. Mas no meio do caminho, Momo e Bamora enfrentam um espirito/maldição, e a nova personagem começa a aprender palavras e melhora sua relação com a Momo.

5 out of 5 star story as usual, but I am giving this volume one less star because I am not satisfied with how the Italian translator decided to transliterate Vamola's name (here she is called "Bamora").

Man, Dandadan Volume 9 is somehow one of the best in the series. Seriously, it's easily the funniest volume so far, I was laughing out loud multiple times while reading this one. I just think the dynamic with this estranged group of idiotic teenagers is so damn funny, and this volume really cranks it up. Bringing in Kinta (AKA the fatty!) was perfect. You've got this huge kaiju from last volume causing chaos, and somehow Kinta helps out in this wild battle, even if it's mostly thanks to Momo that they actually pull off the win.

But then, just when you think things can't get crazier after that massive monster fight, in comes Vamola, another alien, who immediately decides she's going to marry Okarun. So now we've got this core group of like 6 idiots, a talking demon cat, a hot grandma, and a bunch of aliens/demons all clashing and trying to figure out their lives. This series is just so fucking insane and fun, it's genuinely a must-read if you're into bizarre, action-packed comedy. A 5 out of 5 for sure!

Another new character, and I was wrong with my prediction! I feel like the spirit Momo ran in to at the end was defeated too easily, and what was that one alien??? I need vol10! This did feel a tad like filler, but the fight scenes are great!

I know this series does have a plotline running through it...but it's just the crazy inspired unexpected events that keep me looking forward to it.
Example:
A Kaiju battles a house that turns into a giant Robot.
Inside that Kaiju is something....interesting !?!

kinta isnt my fav but i think he is slowly growing on me. i just need his character to develop more (hell i didn't like jiji at first and now he is my fav out of all of them) ROBOT VS KAIJU WENT GO HARD THO. and the art is just GOREGOUS LIKE HOLY SHIT this is such a fun read man

En este tomo se ve el descenlace del monstro tipo Godzilla.
Y la escena que hace enojar a Momo con justa razon.

Y con eso se alcanzo al anime.

En el resto del tomo hay una mini-intro al nuevo personaje, y con Momo tiene una pelea con una fantasma que tiene un espejo.

Buen tomo.

Y aqui pausare la lectura en lo que vuelve a salir el anime (espero Netflix no se tarde siglos como luego suelen hacer). Que igual solo tengo hasta el tomo 10, asi me da tiempo de juntar mas tomitos en lo que.

Nahhhh. I dont know what I expected to come out of the defeat of that kaiju but it definitely wasn’t a really pretty alien😭😭. Vamola and Okarun kissing 💀💀💀💀💀. Id be pissed too if I was Momo. The jealousy though🤭🤭🤭. We are getting closer and closer to a confession and I am LOVING IT. That vain yokai was something else man. When momo and vamola got stuck in her mirror I got so scared ngl😭. Thank god they broke out.
That class president is kinda pissing me off tbh. Like you cannot have a say on who comes and goes into the classroom💀💀

Cuando digo que DanDaDan cada vez es más random en verdad no está mintiendo. ¿Ahora tenemos a un Buda-vangelion? ¿Un par de capítulos de mecha contra un Godzilla extraño que al parecer viene por parte de los aliens? ¿Aliens nuevos que han destruido a los más poderosos que habíamos conocido hasta ahora? ¿Pero tenemos también a la "piloto" del Godzilla y es una monada?

Me encantó este tomo, más aún con los ataques de celos de Momo y Aira, las caras de Jijin y los nervios de Okarun. Ah, pero que ojito acá porque aunque esté muy bonita, tierna y lo que quieran, yo no me fio de Bamora hasta que o aprenda a comunicarse o pruebe que es inocente... de algo ... no sé de qué pero por algo está relacionada con los otros aliens misteriosos.

Y por supuesto, la cereza del pastel para mí fue la aparición de la Kuchisakeonna, mi trauma de la infancia y que acá da casi igual de miedo con esa sonrisa tenebrosa y sus mil espejos. A ver qué tal se da la trama ahora con ooootro personaje nuevo.

Love how there are more people around the table with each mission. Also, Grandma is such a grandma caring for new kids (and I do not particularly like Sakata (guy) - first such a character), but the new girl is a cutie

I freaking ADORED this volume! I think this may be the volume that I laughed the most at so far. These dinguses basically create a gundam to fight a kaiju and are introduced to a new adorable character. Kinta fits right in because he is so stupid 😝 Momo is having a rough time because so many people want okarun's attention lately. I love them all so much!
