OMG the audiobook is AMAZING!!! Valentina is a QUEEN and these men??? HOT!!!
Valentina is supposed to be a docile mafia princess who gets on her knees and does the bidding of her husband but she is so much more!!!
From the beginning you can sense Andrei's anger but also his unending devotion to Valentina. Even after leaving him at the altar, he is still in love with her and the person he knows she is. He still wants her safe and his obsession drives him to do what he can to ensure that without smothering her.
I loved how Valentina grew as a character, how she grew a backbone and learned to speak up for herself. She started giving orders instead of taking them. Her role is changing because of the confidence they instill in her and I honestly love that for her!
Ezra - stoic, protective and utterly enamored with her from the start. He was her bodyguard when she was younger and he made sure to keep her safe, always.
Mikhail is super sweet but unhinged AF! I imagine him as that super adorable but highly feral pet we keep locked up when family comes to visit.
The men were voiced perfectly! I especially love how Kai Kennicott voiced Ezra. He nailed the accent! His playfulness when it came to voicing Mikhail's character and his seriousness with Andrei just made it an absolute joy to listen to!
Wen Ross also did an amazing job with Valentina. You can hear the emotion in her voice and feel the emotions along with the characters!
Overall, this book is so good and the plot is amazing! Misti really knows how to make you feel everything from her characters! I can't wait to read Reign of Four!

Yes! One of my favorite mafia books is an audiobook now!
That is still the best B&E ever! Hearing it read to me, with such emotion in the narrators voice made me laugh even harder! 🤣
I forgot how much I can't stand Andrei at the beginning of this book!
The way these three men are obsessed with Valentina make me want my own!
Hell yeah! I love it when Valentina accepts who she is and embraces it! Hearing it read to me! 🧑🍳💋
Omg! My review when I read the book when it came out is spot on! The only difference is hearing it read with the voices and the accents was a-fu¢k-ing-mazing! Wen Ross gives all of these beautiful men their own distinctive voices, and nails it right on the head! Kai Kennicott portrays Valentina and her emotions spot on! I really really can't wait for the next book to listen to the ending!
