Is this AI?
I love the storyline in the Riley Quinn series, which id the only reason I have read all 9 books released so far. However…there are so many discrepancies in characters, timelines, and grammar that it is sometimes painful to keep going. Many of these errors feel like AI errors. Riley’s background and habits are not consistent with how she was at the beginning of the series. Sometimes information is given and then a few chapters later, it appears no one knows who someone is even though it’s already been said. The cases are great, the people are great, and I am anxiously awaiting the next book because I want to know what happens, but I hope the author gets a beta between now and then or does some serious proofreading and fact checking and compare/contrast things from the previous books.

Hard to put down.
The story continues and Riley has her hands full with two children found in a lake. This one is about controlling people and what they feel. Riley does resolve this one and they are still looking into what happened to Issac.

At this point I feel like I need to finish the series but the spelling and grammatical errors are getting really hard to ignore. Also the sub plots are getting more and more nonsensical.

So many typos and plot errors in this one. Completely unlike the previous 8 books. There were so many plot holes and even things mentioned in one chapter then several chapters later they were acting like it was information they didn’t have on the case. So disappointed and won’t be continuing the series.

Wow! I need the next book as soon as possible! Logan, Rylie and the others are back in this latest book. Rylie has a horrible case with 10 year old twins found floating in the lake. There are so many twists and turns, it's hard to figure out, but someone is lying. But that's only half of what's going on.
Logan also has his own mysteries going on while trying to find out more about his family, not to mention Isaac still being in a coma.
The ending though, US readers need a follow up to the latest discovery. I'm also guessing, we are in for more shocking discoveries as the cameras Logan installs produce evidence.
I really enjoyed this book and I think it is my favorite series from Rivers. The characters are well developed and descriptios are detailed. The story is creative and surprising.

The book was good, but there were so many errors in the grammar. And the punctuation, and some sentences didn't make any sense at all, the husband said he has a fiance, but later it's actually just a girlfriend, but that's never brought up by anybody.... and I read "the children" at least 473882 timea in one chapter. It would actually annoy me to see "the children" written again. 17 times on one page is way too much. I started this series when there was, I think three books, not knowing it was going to turn into a practically never ending story. And I really just cannot wait for it to be finished. I'm like, over it.

Another heart stopper....
You can't stop reading. But you have to at least to get a breath when you realize you've been holding it for far too long. So much happening in each page. Unbelievable stuff...people I feel I know.... Making stupid decisions , plus budding relationships, families in distress. People I know with different names in different places. But the ones I recognize - the ones I really know - no killers among them!

Omg
This book and the 8 before it are pages turners. I had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen. Now this is the last available book and its frustrating because I have to know what happened. Guess its not an option and I have to be patient. But this and these books are one continuous story. So much suspense and drama that it'll make your head spin. Its a really great story with situations that are mind boggling. Take a chance

Suspenseful series
I really enjoy this series. Each book could be a standalone, but they also have underlying, continuing story lines that take several books at a time to resolve. It keeps me reading and wanting more. Right now we're waiting to see what happens with Isaac and with Logan's extended family. Oh the suspense!

Can't wait for the next book!
A.J has become one of my favorite authors! Especially the Riley Quinn series and this one does not disappoint. The plot is difficult to read because of the subject matter but it definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat. Read this series! You will be very glad you did.

disappointed
I’m so disappointed, the storylines themselves are good and intriguing. I love so many aspects, but it feel like the author is rushing through these books and stories now. With each one they have more and more repeated words, more and more errors, and it’s become so disappointing.

Very good book
These books have me addicted every time I read 1. This particular story had many twists and turns I can't wait to learn about Isaac's brother especially since he looks like the new friend Isaac may named Elliot. AJ Rivers always has me guessing I can't wait to read the next book.

Twin trouble in the Pines
Riley has a horrible case on her hands and the facts are just not adding up. Logan visits family and finds out a little bit more about the secrets his family has been hiding. Is Riley overworking and getting forgetful? Only time will tell ! On to the next installment!

What happened? I have loved this series but this book was not at all what the author usually gives us. I cannot get over that Isaac’s dad said the name of his brother and Logan told everyone, but then suddenly that never happened? Huge plot hole and mistake. Hoping book 10 is back to what I love about this series!

Logan and Riley are at it again! The cases for Riley take a terrible turn. Not children! Someone is lying and the twists and turns had me rattled, just like Riley. But, they always solve it- no matter what ! I recommend this unforgettable series. A.J. Rivers always delivers the most unique twists that keep you reading until the wee hours of the night!

too hastily written?
There were lots of things missed in edits. Like Isaac’s dad told Oliver & Log that the brothers name is Sebastian. Also Oliver coming to the hospital the first time had already happened when he and Dora came. Log returning to his office for the first time happened twice.

This series is one of the worst edited ones I’ve ever read. This book was so badly edited, some parts were laughable. It’s still an entertaining series and a quick read so I’ll finish it, or rather continue reading them as they are released. But yeah if you can’t ignore the bad proofing, don’t bother with these.

Riley is back, and this book is incredible! When ten-year-old twins are found dead in the lake, it becomes a he-said-she-said back and forth tennis match with their divorced parents. What happened to the twins, and who would do something so depraved?

I had to stop reading halfway. This either wasn’t edited or was written by a middle schooler. The story line was ok, but not good enough for me to fight through it to the end. Very disappointed.

This story kept my attention from the first page. I didn't want to quit reading. The investigation had several twists and turns in it and kept me guessing. Highly recommended.
