Welcome students, professors, and monsters!

When Miles Pappas pledges as a legacy to Alpha Xi Pi, he'll do anything to gain the attention of the popular crowd on campus. Like the girls from Omega Beta Mu, the most elite sorority and oldest chapter at the university. Miles feels like the gods themselves must be shining down on him after he's chosen to be Row Bachelor. But being Row Bachelor comes with its own set of challenges, such as Greek monsters that are now targeting Miles at every turn. And once Miles and his two new friends uncover the dark secrets hidden around campus, they'll have to fight for their lives and find a way to escape Omega Beta Mu's deadly claws.

As is tradition with the Totally Freaked series, "Omega Beta Monster" is another eerie and nostalgic romp through the 90s and honestly, this entry might just be my favorite so far.

We follow Miles as he enters his freshman year of college, pledging at the same frat his parents did, which is already enough pressure in and of itself. But then you toss in the beautiful and alluring Meg (who also has a sinister twin sister named Alexandra), crazy college antics, Greek mythology AND monsters galore? Yes please!

The writing is very much in the vein of Stine/Pike and I could easily picture this on the shelf beside their names. I was always fascinated by Greek mythology as a kid, and it was fun seeing it used here in a horror centered book rather than fantasy. And that dark twist near the end? YES.

Pledge this one onto your TBR... unless you want to possibly face Scylla's wrath.
