This was soooooo good 😊
Loved it, I loved Hell Hath no Fury but this one was even better.
The Broker is back, this story looks at several interwoven stories with blackmail, revenge, large debts and the criminals being sought by DI Steve Denton.
I’m finding it hard to describe how good these books are, fast paced, full of suspense and tension, lots of different voices, I don’t think I’ve ever read anything like these before.
Excellent crime thrillers and I cannot wait to read more from @geoff_major_author

I'm back with the second book by this author having recently read Hell Hath No Fury back in October.

This does indeed follow on from the previous book and although this could be read alone - I think I'd definitely recommend that you read these books in order as there's a lot going on and we do see returning characters.

On e again, this is a pretty complex story with lots of different threads running alongside each other and as such, we do see a good turnaround of characters.

So much so, it was quite tricky to keep up with them all and where in the story they belong.

However, it's not too long before they all fall into place and the threads start to weave together.

I'm thinking back now, and wonder whether, although this isn't indicated, this author's first book is also connected to these and maybe that's why I still had some questions throughout my last read.

Maybe I'll head back and catch up ....

But this was still such a good read, with twists and turns that kept me immersed and guessing.

I liked the cyber crime themes which kept this relevant and also scared me somewhat!

It's amazing what new technology can do to improve our lives, but this really shows how things can go wrong too!

Another great read and I'm guessing there's going to be more to come soon and I can't wait to read more.

The Debt by Geoff Major
🌟🌟🌟💫

Full of twists and turns of sub stories within the overall book. I did struggle at times to keep up. Characters have pseudonym I had to write them down to remember
That being said, I couldn't put it down. A great follow on from "Hell Hath No Fury"
I felt so sorry for Arlo and Mikey, but it really opens your eyes to cyber crime.
The Broker is still my favourite character!

With book 4 promised......will she answer the phone??!

A great holiday book where you have time to read in good sized chunks. The entwined plots twist and turn wonderfully but somehow all make sense in the end. Although this is a standalone story it does have characters from earlier in the series so it might make sense too read in order. I highly recommend both this story and the other books from Geof Major.

I loved this book, so many twists that you don’t see coming. The broker character is both engaging and vile at the same time but a great story that is a compelling read. Can’t wait for the next one

This book had me hooked from the start. I’d already read Hell Hath No Fury, so I was excited to dive into this one and it did not disappoint. The story picks up with familiar characters, but the stakes feel even higher this time. There are so many layers to the plot, with different storylines weaving in and out, and I found myself constantly trying to piece everything together.

The twists kept coming, and just when I thought I had something figured out, the story would shift again. That unpredictability made it hard to put down.

The cybercrime angle was especially eye-opening. It’s scary how real and possible some of the scenarios felt. It made me think about how vulnerable we all are in this digital world. Arlo and Mikey’s parts really stuck with me.

There's just something about the Broker character that draws me in every time. Mysterious, clever, and always one step ahead.

This series is fast-paced, full of tension, and unlike anything else I’ve read in the crime thriller genre.

I’m already looking forward to book four especially after that ending!
