This was my first book by Krystle Rose, and I can still fill the heat pouring off the pages. Logan St Cloud is a man that can make a women's ovaries beg for attention. The attraction between Logan and Giana can be definitely felt. I loved Giana. She's strong and confident. I enjoy female characters like her. I really loved how Krystle wrote the scenes in this book and how she made these two characters undeniably perfect for each other.

A good amount of mystery romantic suspense. Help me kickstart my reading mood.

Logan & Giana create this constant tension that helps us anticipate their relationship to be more. I'm glad that the author decided to make it a slow burn so that I was kept on edge with a the things that happened.

This Age Gap body guard romance book keeps you on your toes. When you think you have some things figured out you don't. Logan is a moody Radio Personality with a Stalker that he thinks will just go away. Giana is the Body Guard his manager has Hired for him. Expect he thinks women can't do that job he needs a male to protect him. How wrong he is. Giana is bad ass and full of Spunk. There Chemistry is almost instant but they don't act on it. It gets harder and harder for them the more time they are together. Things go from good to bad quickly for Logan and the two of them together will survive. This book is well written and keeps you reading wanting to find out what is happening. The characters are well developed and keep you interested in what happens to them.

This was my first book by Krystle Rose and I enjoyed this hot age-gap romance. Logan needs a bodyguard because of a stalker and his manager hires Giana who is a kickass woman not realizing that Logan doesn't believe women can be bodyguards he thinks that he needs a man to protect him. They have a connection pretty quickly but don't act on it but the longer they're stuck in close proximity the harder it gets.I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else. You really need to read this book to see what happens.

Logan and the Bodyguard . . .

Radio personality Logan St Cloud has his share of fans. One of them, however, has escalated to bad behavior and is stalking him. His manager hires a bodyguard to protect him. Giana Ribeiro is not what he expected, and he isn’t all that sure a woman can keep him safe. But as they are around each other, it becomes more difficult to hold back on their emotions. But the stalker is also planning to put an end to things. Will Giana be able to keep her client safe, despite his possibly being a distraction himself?

A Great Quick Romance

Logan St Cloud, a renowned radio personality in DFW, seems like a guy you’re either gonna love or hate. Enter a dangerous stalker, and in comes the bodyguard. Except, the bodyguard isn’t some burly tough guy who would curdle your blood to cheese with one look. It’s a self-proclaimed badass named Giana Ribiero. Being an older man in his late forties, Logan is not happy having a woman protect him, especially one as attractive as Giana. Nevermind that she is 100 percent as badass as she claims and the most qualified candidate for the job, Logan isn’t having it and asks his manager, Fred, to get a different guard.

The author does point out the age gap between the two, but Giana is 35 and Logan is 49. Among more mature, consenting adults, I did not find this as an issue. Guarded was an interesting read with a perfect balance between action, sexual tension, and romance. Their chemistry was rocky at the start, but given time to get to know one another, it became explosive.

This is a new author for me. But I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this. The characters are well-rounded and keep you coming back for more. The tension and chemistry between Logan and Giana had you rooting for them along the way.
The slow burn between the characters kept me wanting more. And I wasn't disappointed!

Got an ARC of this book and WOW! This one is even more exciting than Krystle's first romantic suspense. It has twists and turns I never saw coming and the spicy is turned up on this novel, too. At first, Logan was not very likable, but he grows on you and he grew on Giana, obviously, because they get to have their HEA. Giana is incredible. I love that she's a female bodyguard; Gender roles be damned! If you like romantic suspense and workplace romance, definitely check this one out.

Krystle has done it again! Another great read with lots of excitement, swoon-worthy romance, and a surprise ending. Giana is described as a self-proclaimed "badass" and I couldn't agree more. Logan is a grumpy old man, but loveable all the same. They are very opposite, but still perfect for each other and their story is one you won't soon forget. I'll be on the lookout for future books by this author!

Guarded was very aptly named for this sexy romantic suspense novel. Giana is a kick ass female who has no qualms about protecting Logan—and possibly capturing his heart. These two make such a great couple and the suspense that’s etched into the pages left be begging to get to the end.

Logan is a nearly 50-year-old Radio and Podcast personality who is so famous that he has a crazy stalker. Enter Giana, a 35-year-old veteran who now works as a bodygaurd, Skeptical at first, Logan decides to give Giana a chance to protect him and finds more than he expected.
This is a fast-paced suspense/romance with a lot of action (in more ways than one).
Please note that this novel is intended for mature audiences only as it contains violence and graphic sexual content.

This is a slow build up romance mystery that pulls you in and keeps your interest. Logan isn't the most likeable guy, but Giana more than makes up for it. She is intelligent, kick *ss and able to hold her own. The ending has a slight unexpected twist that added to a decent story.
