She lost her world. He’ll rebuild it with his bare hands.

I was supposed to disappear.

Sold as payment for a debt that died with my parents—taken by the same club that tore my world apart.

Crimson Road doesn’t do mercy.

And the man who found me in their territory looks like he was carved from violence—broad shoulders, inked skin, leather, and power. The kind of man I promised myself I’d never trust.

Hammer says I’m safe with him, but I’ve seen what men in cuts call “protection.”

I don’t want his help. I don’t want his attention, and I definitely don’t want the way he looks at me—like I’m something he’s already claimed.

Because if I let myself want him back… I won’t survive losing everything a second time.

I’ve shed blood. Delivered punishment. Protected the club. I know how to stay focused.

Until her.

Nothing has ever wrecked me like the young woman I pulled out of that shipping container.

Destiny is quiet storms and locked doors, all sharp edges where the world cut her too deep. Every time she looks at me—like she expects me to become the monster she survived—it claws something feral awake in me.

I want every piece of her—her fear, her fire, her trust.

The brothers think I’m distracted. They’re right.

War is brewing, territory is shifting, and if I don’t get my head back in the game, men are gonna die.

How am I supposed to look away… when she’s the first thing that’s ever felt like mine?

Each story in the Steelwood MC series is part of a shared storyline that is best enjoyed in order. Each couple ends with a HFN ending that will result in their HEA by the end of the series! Dark themes are present!

Destiny and Hammer

HAMMER is Book 3 of the Steelwood MC series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, he falls first, forced-proximity, virgin gets her biker romance. Hammer is the hunky, broody, somewhat stoic Sergeant-at-Arms for the Steelwood MC. Destiny is a feisty girl that is rescued when his group frees some woman being held for trafficking. Hammer sees Destiny and feels drawn to her, even with her fighting spirit. He takes her back to the clubhouse since she no longer has any family. Can she let him in? This couple was so perfect together. Hammer was this gentle giant, only for her. The chemistry was pure fire and the ending was so happy. I loved it.

Hammer and Destiny

This is a book for those who love quick MC romances that bring big alpha bikers together with women they rescue. Hammer shows up to rescue Destiny from her captors and finds out she has no place to go. He brings her home with him and they start a journey to their HEA. Hammer has unbelievable restraint all the while Destiny is falling for him. I was so happy these two found their HEA.

From the opening line, you feel the raw ache of loss and the dangerous pull of redemption. Destiny is a survivor—a woman ripped apart by a world that never showed her mercy. And Hammer? He’s the man carved out of that same world, all jagged edges, tattoos, and quiet rage. But beneath the leather and violence is a man desperate to build something real, even if his hands only know how to destroy.

Stone writes with an honesty that hurts. Every scene between Hammer and Destiny thrums with tension—not just sexual, but emotional, soul-deep, life or death tension. Their story isn’t soft. It’s bruised, bleeding, and beautiful. It’s about what happens when broken people don’t fix each other, but instead learn to survive together.

What makes Hammer by Hammar unforgettable isn’t just the grit—it’s the grace. Julia Stone strips away the glamour of the MC world to reveal something far more human: the battle to believe in love again when the world has already taken everything.

This isn’t a fairytale. It’s a promise that even in the wreckage, something strong, something fiercely loyal, can still rise.

For Fans Of:
Gritty romance, dark redemption arcs, found family in broken places, and love stories that feel like both a wound and a cure.

Rescuing His Forever -
From the moment Hammer carried Destiny in his arms when she passed out, he felt an inexplicable connection with her, that made him overprotective towards her. Even though Destiny was in a dire situation, she had given up hope of getting out of the predicament she was in, but she seemed to lose her remaining strength to fight the moment she was in Hammer’s arms. Once Destiny got her will to fight back, she tried everything possible to manipulate Hammer so she could escape, but he turned the tables on her and managed to make her want to stay with him.

Spending time together allowed Destiny and Hammer’s attraction to grow, which also allowed her to feel safe around the MC clubhouse. However, Hammer wanted Destiny to feel comfortable, so he offered her a chance to have a future with him, which she accepted after them enjoyed a mind blowing steamy session and he confessed his true feelings to her. This gripping romance story quickly drew me in from the first page and kept me eagerly turning the pages, whilst I enjoyed watching the characters navigate their feelings for each other. You definitely won’t go wrong with reading this fantastic book.

This series had me in a full chokehold. Four books. Two days. No regrets.

The Steelwood MC series completely captivated me from the very first page to the final, perfectly wrapped ending. Each book focuses on a different couple, and somehow Julia Stone manages to pack raw emotion, genuine character growth, trauma survival, and scorching chemistry into stories that may be short, but never once feel rushed or incomplete.

The emotional depth genuinely surprised me. These characters have been through hell, and watching them confront their pasts, heal, and find love within the Steelwood MC world was incredibly satisfying. The character development was strong across the board, and each romance felt distinct, intentional, and earned.

And let’s talk about the heat. Because wow. The chemistry is absolute fire, intense, addictive, and written in a way that perfectly complements the emotional stakes rather than overpowering them. I devoured every page.

Even though these are shorter stories, they are written so well and wrapped up so cleanly it’s honestly a chef’s kiss situation. No loose ends, no rushed conclusions, just solid storytelling that leaves you craving more.

Safe to say I’m adding the rest of Julia Stone’s books straight to my TBR without hesitation. If you love MC romance with heart, heat, and healing, the Steelwood MC series is an easy five stars and a must-read. 🔥🏍️📚

When Hammer and Warden help another brother out in the MC on a rescue mission, they find more than they bargained for. Warden and Hammer discover a container full of women whom they rescue. But one of the women fights back, thinking these are just another club meant to harm them.

Destiny is determined to stand her ground; she is not going down without a fight, but the lack of food and fluids has made her weak, and going up against a giant like Hammer is like trying to take a monster down with a feather.

Hammer finds that he needs to keep Destiny near; he may say it's for her safety, but deep down it's not. There is something about her, her strength even in adversity, that draws him.

Destiny tries to keep her distance; however, her body and her brain have opposing ideas. One wants to run, while the other wants to play.

Hammer knows he needs to let Destiny set the pace; let her feel in control. He may have rescued her to set her free, but she is his, and if he can, wants her to choose him.

Steelwood MC's are men full of grit, darkness, purpose, loyalty, and heart. They might be hard as steel, but their hearts aren't.

Hammer didn't expect a rescue from a rival gang to bring Destiny into his life. Her family has been ripped away from her, and she no one or anything. Hammer felt the jolt to his heart as he sees her pain. He breaks protocol and brings her back with them. Every instinct he has is telling him to protect her, and he knows deep down she's his.

He has to watch her at first, but he quicly realizes she has suffered enough, and wants to be the home and give her a place to thrive and make her own family. It takes time, and its not without some steamy humor, trust, and seeing what they could have to let them fall in love.

It wasn't what either of them expected, but its so obvious its what they want, and need. Its got such heart, after dealing with such trauma. It gives them a life they never thought they'd had, and a steamy, touching HEA.

I loved how this picked up right from where Ripper left it. Hammer may not have been happy to have been there initially, but pretty sire he was by the end. I could picture Destiny and her determination, then paranoa. Full of questions she was too scared to voice, or believe answers to anyway. The wY he took care of her was so out of character, even he was questioning himself. This story is about developing trust, friendship, openness and eventually a relationship. These two both understood what it felt like to have your world ripped in two. It made for a heartbreaking point of commonality, but strengthened the foundation. The story was easy to read and fast moving. Looking forward to reading Warden's story soon!.

Hammer rescues Destiny from a situation where she was about to be trafficked, and she is suspicious of him, and all bikers, because it was an Ebil MC that took her captive. So she stabs him. Not exactly a meet cute. Hammer is fascinated by her, and for the first time he finds himself looking at sex as more than a chore or scratching an itch. It’s strangely endearing. Both of them have walls, but Instalove cannot be gainsaid, and the Cupid aims its arrow with amazing accuracy at this couple who is so perfect together.
Book is SAFE.
Heat is EXPLICIT with a VIRGIN HEROINE. And even when he touches her calf it’s hot.
TRIGGERS include violence and trafficking.
TROPES include Instalove, Damsel in Distress, Protector Romance, That’s Not My Leg, Julia Grandchild, Sweets to the Sweet.
GENRE is MC Romance.

If you have read the last in the series, you know the Crimson Road MC is into human trafficking. Destiny is one of the women rescued by the Steelwood MC. She was taken as payment for the gambling debts owned by her father, and offed both her parents. When they are released, Destiny does trust anyone and stabs Hammer with a nail. There is something about her that has him wanting her, to protect her.

He is just what she needs, even if it takes her awhile to realize it.

Destiny and Hammer are two ppl who need each other so bad. The beginning was light action. The spice was very light which I think for this one was good. The drama was little to none, mostly it was found on Destiny learning to trust again.

Going on a forbidden mission Hammer rescued a hurt and scared woman. Destiny is not sure she’s safe or just traded one bad situation for another. Together they find common ground and their chemistry blooms into something beautiful. Sweet and steamy with an adorable HEA.

Not Alone

She’s been traumatized and left with no one and no place to go. He sees her and takes her with him. I loved the slow, tender journey of her acceptance of his claim. The club members are fascinating and the ending wonderful.
