Knot Your Typical Christmas: A Cozy & Spicy Omegaverse Holiday Romance

Rate this book
Ivy Bristow never planned to spend Christmas snowed in with three alphas.

She’s barely keeping her beloved bed-and-breakfast, the Mistletoe Inn, afloat when a certified letter foreclosure in three weeks. With no pack, no backup, and a blizzard moving in, Ivy braces to weather the storm alone.

But fate, and the town of Mistletoe Hollow, have other plans.

When Sheriff Gabe Morrison shows up with supplies, carpenter Miles Frasier is trapped on-site, and paramedic Evan Harbor insists on bringing her medical supplies, Ivy suddenly finds herself sharing one fireplace, one bed, and one too-cozy nest with three very protective alphas.

They see the worry behind her smile.

They smell the exhaustion she tries to hide.

And when her heat hits early, every instinct they have roars to the surface.

Ivy swore she’d never rely on alphas again. But as the snow deepens outside and warmth blooms within, resisting them becomes harder than believing in Christmas miracles.

Because Gabe, Miles, and Evan aren’t just any alphas.

They’re hers, and they’re ready to fight for her inn, her heart, and the forever she stopped believing in.

Knot Your Typical Christmas is a cozy, snow-locked Omegaverse holiday romance filled with slow-burn tension, fated-mate sparks, and three devoted alphas determined to keep their omega safe and warm. Expect heart-melting caretaking, nest-building under fairy lights, and enough spice to thaw the coldest winter night. HEA guaranteed.

This is not good. If inconsistencies don't bother you, then this might be fine, but they come up often. Even just one in particular was mentioned over and over again and it made it impossible for me to ignore. At that point, I stopped seriously reading it and skimmed the rest of it.

Also, if you are going to write a certain type of scene, then you need to be explicit. I got through nearly 90% of a sex scene wondering if the two men were sharing one hole or if they each had their own, if you know what I mean. They were not sharing, as it turned out. It was like R.G. was uncomfortable with naming body parts, but that made it difficult to understand what was happening where.

Decent story, needs editing

I like that the Alphas aren't already a pack. That's different, and an even better 'found family' trope. The book needs a lot of editing, though. Storyline inconsistencies always bug me. Early on, after they get snowed in and are sharing body heat, it's stated that Gabe is against wall, then Evan, then Ivy, and Miles on her other side. A couple of paragraphs later, Gabe is holding her. Then she wakes up next to Evan. There are quite a few things like that, and it breaks up the flow, because I have to go back and verify what I read.

Knot Your Typical Christmas

This was the absolute perfect holiday read. I’m not a huge fan of angst and it wasn’t too bad, just a little stubborn omega who needed a lot of reassurance from three pretty much perfect men. I’ll definitely be adding this to my Christmas reread list. And I’ll certainly be checking out the author’s other works

A whole lot of inconsistencies. Lots of boring inner dialogue.

Sweet Read

A short but sweet read. Not angsty at all. Perfect for a rainy weather, cup of cocoa and a comfy blanket.
