I swore I’d never let another man touch me after the last one broke more than just my heart.
Loneliness makes a liar out of anyone. I was good for the wrong man. Quiet. Obedient. Broken. I promise myself never again. So I join Mythinder, the dating app for the presented, not for love but to feel something again.
Then I meet them—men who awaken pieces of me I thought were lost. Gentle. Protective. Dangerous.
Dane, a tattooed, dominant alpha with a dangerous smile. Everything about him says I should run, but I can’t. Being his good girl isn’t about obedience. It’s about finally being safe enough to be seen…and discovering a desire I never a pack.
This book is a standalone Dark Why Choose Omegaverse.
This was an incredibly beautiful dark, why choose romance about being an abuse survivor and finding your way back to yourself.
Vera, our FMC, came from a life of betrayal and abuse. Everyone from her ex to her mother constantly abused her either mentally, physically, sexually, or emotionally. Vera had been through so much that she was sure that she was broken and could never be the Omega she was supposed to be. I constantly just wanted to hug our girl and tell her that it had nothing to do with her, that she just needed to find her people.
Not only did JP Sina capture the thoughts and feelings of someone in an abusive relationship perfectly, but she also did a great job creating anxiety, love for our Omega, and hatred of her ex-Beta in a very short amount of time. Instantly, I felt a connection to Vera and just wanted to help her escape her entire life; bring her into a quiet place and just let her be still for the first time in her life. Her incredibly realistic thoughts about not being faithful to her ex even though they weren’t together for years at this point, absolutely broke me. Vera deserved the world; enter our MMCs.
I absolutely loved how different our MMCs were, but how well their personalities complimented each other. I loved how Dane, our Dom, took control of everything and let Vera turn off her mind with him. For the first time in a long time, she didn’t need to think or worry about anything, because she knew from the beginning that Dane had her and would do everything for her she needed. I loved his tragic backstory as well and what led to him having to be in control, as it added so much depth to his character.
I loved how Kade was our comic relief but also our bruiser. He was completely loyal to his pack, including even telling Vera that if she messed with Dane, she messed with both of them. I loved that he and Dane grew up in foster care together, as they definitely had a sibling mentality with each other. I enjoyed seeing the ways they were similar (like in their loyalty to each other and Vera), but also the ways they were different (serious dom vs. charming rogue).
And I can’t leave Uriel out! He was the sweetheart of the group and the one who absolutely gave Vera the most space to reacquaint herself with her Omega. He definitely was the one that wore his heart on his sleeve the most, but was also the most patient of the group and I loved him for this. I also really loved his bi-awakening that came about as soon as he met Kade, which, good LORD!, was delicious!!
I loved how each of our guys played a hand in reintroducing Vera to her inner Omega and making her feel loved and worthy again after so long of not. Her character growth from a scared woman running from everything in life to a strong woman who spoke her mind and created her perfect, little family was EVERYTHING.
Thank you to JP Sina for the opportunity to alpha/beta read this wonderful book! The thoughts and opinions expressed above are honest and my own.
There's a lot about this that just wasn't for me. Not gonna rate, cause I DNF'd pretty quickly, but the prose was heavy on the brainrot words, and I'm not online enough to be able to parse it, lol.
That, and the first interaction the FMC has with the MMC is an unsolicited dick pic 😭😭😭
I felt a slump coming on and I was like absolutely not. An omegaverse romance is just what the doctor ordered
Vera spent 6 years in a relationship with a Beta.. as an Omega If you know about omegaverses then you know Omegas cant live without an Alpha Because what do Alphas have that Omegas need? A knot
And on top of that, Mr Beta was abusive 🤢 (check the TWs) Throw that man in the trash right now
Girlie pop finally left him, started dating again, flirting with any hot Alpha she could find and eventually she found a man who should be a walking red flag but he made her feel things she never knew she would ever feel again
Smut ✔️ Plot ✔️ Alpha Daddy ✔️ Not 1, but 3 Alphas? 🥵
Alpha's Good Girl by JP Sina is a dark why choose omegaverse. This is the first book in The Knot Loved series and can be read as a standalone.
This is the first book of JP's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Vera, Dane, Kade, and Uriel. I loved getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the next book in the series Knot Broken Yet to be released on March 30, 2026.
I would recommend this book if you're looking for a dark romance, why choose romance, or an omegaverse.
If you like dark romance with why choose this is for you. We meet Vera, Dane, Kade, and Uriel. Vera is an omega. She comes from a life of abuse and betrayal. Everyone from her ex to her family constantly abused her. She has been through so much. Dane is the dom who takes control of everything which helps Vera turn off her mind. While Kade is the charming guy. Both grew up in foster care together. Uriel is the sweetheart of the group. Together the three work to help Vera with her inner omega. Read to find out what happens next.
The first 50% was filler - a whole lot of nothing 😒 then the romance went from zero to 100. The characters' personalities were inconsistent and the plot was barely there. 🫠 Overall, not a great read. Perhaps even a waste of time. The spice was great but I need more than that.
This book was something I found while searching through Etsy and I was drawn to it. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I loved the story the characters all of it! I am newer to the omegaverse and this was my second one. But this combined some of my favorite things and it was dark and spicy! As someone who has gone through things in past relationships this book hit close to home and I love the ending of this book and I need not only a best friend like Ami but book boyfriend alert with Dane. Kane and Uri aren’t too bad either but Dane owns my heart! There were parts that I laughed out loud as well with the Ami and Vera convos. Check your triggers but this was amazing and I will definitely be reading it again!
If you like morally gray MMC'S with the dirtiest of mouths... read this book. A FMC that has been through hell, struggles with depression but is starting to heal... read this book. Plus, an Alpha that is sweet and is her anchor... yeah, read this book. It was exactly what I needed today. I was kicking my feet, blushing, laughing and crying.
This book was amazing from the beginning to the end. It was Hot with a very capital T. I loved watching everyone come together. I wish there was a 2nd one with these characters. I'm not ready for this story to end.
JP Sina does what JP Sina does best - delivers dark, heavy, emotionally intense storytelling that doesn’t pull any punches. I was lucky enough to alpha read this one, and seeing it fully come together only made it hit harder.
Vera’s backstory is devastating. The prologue sets the tone immediately and makes her trauma impossible to ignore. I am ANGRY from the get go. The fact that her trauma runs so deep she can’t scent, something so essential and dangerous for an omega, was heartbreaking.
The banter between Vera and Dane was absolute perfection, balancing the heaviness with moments of levity. I also loved the twist of making the villain a beta. In a genre where alphas are often the offenders, and betas are more neutral, flipping that dynamic worked so well. These alphas may be morally gray, but Amos is undeniably the Big Bad Beta. No knot? Boy, bye.
One of my favorite elements was the focus on consent and healing. She actually uses her safe word. That moment, and the way it’s respected, was incredibly validating and showed real care for survivor representation. Healing doesn’t happen overnight, but being heard matters.
Add in the found family, an unexpected extra member that warmed my cold dead heart, and plenty of JP Sina–level spice, and this was a dark omegaverse romance that delivered on every front. Heavy, healing, filthy, and full of heart.
The FMC has a past and is on her healing journey, she was so relatable. Even though this was an omegaverse, so fantasy, the world was so normal that I felt I would fit right in and maybe find my own Alpha pack haha the use of dating apps was fun, and the fun the FMC had with it 🥵
The MMC, Dane, wow he can be my Alpha anyday haha he totally had the 'mine' vibes and knows exactly what she needs, then his brother Kade and Uriel, the golden retriever type also feed parts of her and help her heal from her trauma
I loved the way they all came together and after the previous relationships and find a new family in each other
Vera is with a dipsh*t alpha for six years and he doesn’t claim her. He just breaks her down. She’s a naturally submissive omega and getting away from him is difficult. She finally breaks up with him and her little sister Tale convinces her to join a “hook up app” I won’t say dating app, because this app is basically Tinder for designations.
She’s hesitant at first, but then she decides why the heck not. She has a few hook ups but no one has her attention like the dark, dangerous, tatted, Dane. He’s in the security business and he’s VERY dominant. They chat daily (lol) uhmmm if chatting means loads of phone sex and video call sex. During this time she’s being bow broken by her domineering alpha mother, and kinda hooking up with other alphas. She’s in the middle of hooking up with an alpha named Kade when Dane steps in because she’s wasted. Turns out Dane and Kade know one another. Dane takes her to his home and they sleep together…many times! He’s dominate at sh*t and Vera loves it. Kade comes in halfway through and Dane makes him watch as he thoroughly takes Vera. Kade and Dane spoil and cuddle Vera and Vera gets “jumpy” and nervous so she sneaks out early, running to Uriel, another guy she’s been hooking up with. She realizes Uriel is her mate, right around the time to comes to the realization that Dane and Kade are also her mates.
Dane and Kade come to get Vera, they’re furious to snuck out. Then they listen to Vera tell them that Urie is her mate. They acknowledge him, say he’s pack and then they dominate him, have sex with him and, yeah, I’m sure you know what happens next.
**THOUGHTS/OPINIONS**
Okay, so I like steam in my books, sure, I’m just human after all, lol. But this book is straight up ABO page after page porn. There is like NO plot! You get a little of Vera’s background and then BOOM, it’s straight into Vera sleeping with every Alpha that catches her attention, and the sex is wild. At first I was okay with it, yeah, it was kinda hot, but it doesn’t stop…it’s a sex freight train without breaks!!! It literally is just page after page of Vera being submissive and the alphas being dominate well, sex crazed, alphas. Then, don’t get me started on the weird introduction of the very detailed m/m scenes thrown in at like when you get 75% through the book. Soooo Kade is pissed at Vera and is like “I’m punishing Uriel.” His punishment is uh, not punishment (lol) it’s over the top dominate m/m sex. 1. It’s weird as heck because neither Kade nor Uriel were introduced as being bisexual 2. It’s completely unnecessary inclusion of m/m 3. It’s awkward to read, not hot (again just my opinion) in any way 4. It takes away from Vera’s storyline and progression. I was already kind of struggling with the fact that the title of the book and most of the blurb had me thinking Vera would be Dane’s only partner…yes she hooked up with others, but Dane was the constant. Soooo it took me a bit to wrap my head around the fact that Kade was introduced and was clearly going to be included. Uriel was completely strange and a weird plot device. Not only was he unnecessary, but his inclusion was awkward and took away from the main plot and set-up of the book. This book is titled Alphas Good Girl, it’s a book about Vera and her finding her match, uh, matches (ugh). Why suddenly is Uriel part of that at all? Not only does his presence take away from Vera and completely hijack the book, but it upsets the already fragile balance of the book. Oyyyy…I hated Uriel’s character. I mean, I only really liked Dane as the alpha, but I was somewhat getting on board with Kade. When Uriel was thrown into the mix I was pretty much done. I was already considering this book a long bout of pure porn, but now it was pure porn with m/m. Ugh. Not what I “signed up” for at all. I absolutely won’t be reading anymore offerings from this author. Definitely not my cup of tea!!!
This was a 3-star read for me. I enjoyed it overall, but it felt much more like smut with a thin plot rather than a romance with meaningful story development. If you’re looking for a horny read this is for you. I might read again when I’m ovulating… lol 😅
The premise had so much potential. Vera is recovering from an abusive relationship with Amos, whose abuse is enabled by her mother, and I was expecting that dynamic to play a much larger role in the story. Instead, most of the abuse happens off-page besides the first chapter of the book being a rape scene and there after we get brief little triggers and suggestions of what might of happened to her. We only get a handful of pages showing her mother’s emotional abuse, which made those relationships feel underdeveloped. I honestly wished Amos had more page time because I wanted to fully understand—and hate—his character. I also would have loved to see more of Fale, Amos’s younger sister. Her relationship with Vera was one of the more interesting dynamics in the book, and I felt there was a lot more that could have been explored there.
The majority of the story consists of Vera using a dating app, sexting, dating, and eventually getting to know Kade and Dane. Unfortunately, the relationship development felt very rushed. The last third of the book moves at lightning speed: within about three days, Vera reconnects with her scent, discovers they’re fated mates, bonds with Kade and Dane, and helps rescue Dane’s daughter. It was simply too much happening in too short a timeframe for me to fully invest in.
My biggest issue was that the book relied heavily on spice while sacrificing character and plot development. The chemistry was there, but I wanted more emotional depth, more time spent building the relationships, and more exploration of Vera’s healing journey after her abuse. The foundation for a compelling story was present, but it felt a little superficial because everything moved so quickly.
That said, I still had a good time reading it. If you’re looking for a fast-paced, spicy omegaverse romance with fated mates, this may work well for you. I just personally wanted more plot and character development to balance out the amount of smut.

JP Sina’s Alpha’s Good Girl stands out as an exceptionally compelling omegaverse novel that delves deeply into themes of new beginnings, recovery from trauma, and a powerful, transformative journey toward self-acceptance and redemption. This story is an utterly enjoyable read, centred around Vera, a protagonist whose resilience is tested as she seeks justice and navigates the persistent shadows of her past trauma.
The true strength of the narrative lies in its sophisticated, well-written character development. Vera, as a survivor, is portrayed with a fascinating duality. She possesses a cheeky, highly engaging personality that contrasts sharply with the subservient side conditioned by her past circumstances. The novel meticulously charts her path of growth, focusing on the painful yet necessary process of unlearning past conditioning. This journey towards embracing her innate strength justifies the novel's deliberately measured pacing, allowing the reader to fully appreciate every step of her emotional and psychological evolution.
Equally captivating is the cohesive and dynamic supporting 'pack' that surrounds Vera. The chemistry between Vera and the dominant Alpha, Dane, is palpable and immediate, igniting a passionate flame that forms the emotional core of the romance. Dane’s powerful presence is masterfully complemented by the other members of the pack: the grounding, calming influence of Uri, and the quiet, watchful, protective nature of Kane. The author skillfully employs these varied male characters, each representing a distinct facet of support, injecting layers of emotional spice and providing Vera with precisely what she needs to heal and thrive: the strength to stand up, the bravery to move forward, and the calm to find peace.
Ultimately, Alpha's Good Girl is more than just an omegaverse romance; it is a solid and deeply satisfying novel with an empowering central message: the unequivocal choice to pursue and claim the life and happiness one truly deserves, irrespective of the scars left by the past.
First of all , thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to alpha read this book! The team were feral and twisted and … I loved it !! I love it when a book reaches their targeted audience so hi , that’s me !! if you like dark romance then YOU NEED THIS !!
As always with this author , please check triggers because there is a LOT to unpack!
This was a dark and delicious read . I wasn’t expecting my emotions to be all up in knots (pun intended! ) but honestly they were double , actually no, TRIPLE knotted!
Vera suffered extreme abuse at the hands of her ex and although she escaped his actions still haunted her , blocking her from moving on. But following the advice from her friend she soon falls into the hands of three men! Swiping right was definitely the right choice . Each man had their own personality.. and each offered support in their own way. They were dark , unhinged and ruthless but yet they were understanding , sweet , loyal . They were also a touch her and die kinda guys..
Behind the trauma , was a girl desperate to be loved and hoped to find her place in the world . I admired Vera’s strength of overcome her pain of the past and her bravery for stepping out of her comfort zone. She soon realised she didn’t have to count on herself for survival , she had men willing to do that fight for her . They were ruthless and would kill to protect !
@jp Sina i am in awe of the way your writing gripped me ! But honestly I have to admire YOUR courage for using your own pain of your trauma and past which was perfectly captured in Vera’s story . Our Queen of unhinged , our warrior !!
To those that read it - Dane , Kane Or Uriel ? To those that haven’t but will read it , please come back and talk about them!!
Would I recommend ? Yes! It’s a short read and comes with very heavy triggers (on and off page ) so definitely check them out !
Wow. Saying Vera has been through a lot is the understatement of the century.
The trauma and abuse she survived would have shattered most people, yet she’s still standing — stronger, more resilient, but also still very much in the fight. I really appreciated how the author didn’t romanticize healing. Vera leaves her abuser, yes — but that mental tug-of-war? The confusing, gut-twisting pull where you don’t want to go back but somehow still miss them? That was portrayed so painfully well. It’s such a psychological mind game, and breaking that trauma bond is no small thing. The book handled that with raw honesty.
I’ll admit, I was surprised Vera could handle Dane the way she did, especially with her past. The way he speaks, the intensity, the dominance — it could have gone very differently. But I think that’s where the line is drawn. Dane isn’t her abuser. He’s protective, commanding, seductive from the very beginning (before they even meet!), and when he finally claims her? It’s tenfold. Absolutely feral energy. But what makes him truly irresistible is his vulnerability. The softness beneath the dominance. The way he constantly reminds Vera she’s safe — especially when she’s spiraling. That reassurance? Chef’s kiss.
Kade brings a completely different energy. More chaotic, a little wild, but still fiercely protective. He balances the intensity in a way that works so well. And then there’s Uri — sweet, softer, more puppy-dog in comparison. Maybe not as dominant or forceful as the others, but he plays such an important role. He’s the catalyst. He’s the one who gently nudges Vera out of her comfort zone and into something bigger. Together, they don’t just love her — they help her heal.
This story isn’t just spicy (though trust me… it is), it’s layered. It’s about survival, trauma bonds, reclaiming power, and learning what safe love actually feels like.
And watching Vera slowly realize she deserves that? Everything.
This is a dark story of survival. Definitely check the triggers before you read!
Vera has been abused for nearly her entire life. From her mother's emotional abuse and manipulation to her ex's verbal, physical, and sexual abuse, she has been beaten down to the point that she considers herself broken. She does not think that she can be an acceptable omega so she joins a dating app just to meet men and feel some connection however brief. When she meets Dane and Uriel, she is drawn to both of them, but for different reasons. She has to decide if she is ready to take a risk on letting someone get close again despite her trauma and insecurities.
I immediately felt heartbroken for everything that Vera had been through. I feel like the conflicting emotions of being in and leaving an abusive situation were portrayed so thoughtfully. Vera wanted to be able to move on from Abel, but she also sometimes felt like she was cheating on him even though they hadn't been together for a long time. All of the men brought something different to the pack that I think Vera really needed. Dane's domination was partially a response to his own trauma, but it allowed Vera to let go and put herself in his hands. Uriel was the sweet and steady rock that she could lean on. Kane was a jokester, but also fiercely protective of her and his pack. I loved how all of the guys helped Vera to work through some of her trauma and get back in touch with her omega instincts. Her progress was not necessarily linear or easy, but they were there to support her and help her when she needed it and I think that was a beautiful aspect of the story.
I received a free advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Wow, this is hands down the best book I’ve read in a long time! I was completely hooked from start to finish, and the chemistry is off the charts. The spicy was definitely spicin!
The contrast between the guys is perfection. Dane as the protective, commanding daddy dom completely did it for me, while Kade’s playful energy brought the perfect amount of fun and heat to the bedroom. Uri is an absolute sweetheart. His patience and gentleness gave the pack such a beautiful, grounded balance that made me fall for them even harder.
My only real critique is that I wish the book had been a little longer! I wasn't ready to let them go, and there were a few things I felt could have been expanded on: I really wanted a scene where she deeply opens up to the guys about what she went through with her ex and the reality of her home life. I was highly anticipating a confrontation scene where she goes back home to get her things—I wanted to see her mom's reaction, and more than anything, I wanted to see Vera and the pack swoop in to protect her and handle business. I was also dying for Ami to meet the guys in person!
Despite wanting a bit more page time with these characters, it was an incredible, high-heat read. I am crossing my fingers so hard that we get a standalone book for Ami in the future so the whole crew can finally meet up. If you love protective alphas, playful banter, and top-tier spice, you need to read this!
Dark, hot, heartbreaking, and beautiful—all in under 300 pages. I absolutely ate up this ARC in a single day! Alpha’s Good Girl is a solid Omegaverse novel, but please heed the trigger warnings, as the story deals with the aftermath of the extreme abuse the FMC, Vera, has endured.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)
Thank you to JP Sina for providing me with an ARC to review. All thoughts and opinions are honest and my own
I went into Alpha's Good Girl by J.P. Sina so excited because I’ve loved every other book I’ve read by this author… but this one and I just didn’t click. And honestly? That made me a little sad. 🥲📚
I was really intrigued by the premise—dark why choose omegaverse, a broken heroine trying to rediscover herself, protective alphas, the whole vibe sounded right up my alley. Normally that mix would have me hooked immediately.
But for some reason, my brain just wasn’t having it this time. I read a few chapters hoping it would pull me in, but the connection never really happened. It might totally be a me thing, because lately I’ve been deep in my thriller era and my reading mood is clearly demanding suspense and twists instead of omegaverse romance. 🖤🔪
And you know what? That’s okay. Not every book—even from authors we adore—is going to work for us at the moment.
So this one ended up being a DNF for now. I’m definitely bummed because I adore J.P. Sina’s writing, but sometimes the best thing you can do as a reader is simply move on and maybe come back when the mood is right.
Who knows… maybe one day I’ll pick it up again and fall in love with the story after all. But for now, it’s staying on my “maybe later” shelf.
📚 Have you ever DNF’d a book from one of your favorite authors and felt a little guilty about it?
plot: 4/5 • spice: 4/5 ➡️➡️➡️ Vera leaves her abusive relationship after years. After a while of being back on her own her best friend encouraged her to try to move on and try dating again. Not find a mate or a pack, but date. “Have fun” 😉
Vera does the thing. She meets me. Some fun. Others she connects with. Hooks up with. Vera is missing her sense of smell though. It’s been gone for years. She’s convinced she’ll never find her scent match because of this. Dane enters the chat. He’s got daddy vibes all over him. Brooding. Tattooed. Domineering. All the things she yums over.
At a party we meet Kade. She’s currently hanging out with him when Dane calls and demands the address. Turns out Kade and Dane are foster siblings. Pack. After a fun tumble around 😉 things start to get heavy and after waking up between Kade and Dane she makes a run for it.
She seeks comfort so she goes back to one of the guys she dated before Dane. Uriel. Scent match. She can smell him. Dane and Kade show up about to break his skull in when they all come to realize they’re all pack.
Good spice scenes. Was surprised to see some MM in there. You didn’t think there was any and then BAM. There’s a little drama but it isn’t really played out. There’s more spice than plot but there IS plot. it’s not background noise.
I received the eARC for free and I'm writing this review from my perspective as a reader. My opinion shouldn't influence your literary taste.
I can understand why some readers liked this book, since it has well-received clichés (omegaverse, knots, polygamy), but there are other things that really bothered me. There is a lot of emphasis on the fact that Vera was raped by her ex-boyfriend and flashbacks are constantly shown, but she had an incredible ease in sleeping with three different men. And no, I'm not saying she can't or shouldn't, because it's great that she can enjoy her sexuality freely. It just seems very morbid that she went from detailing her rape to feeling aroused the whole time.
Vera is free to have sex with whomever she wants, but she lives in a place where she is constantly abused. It's strange how easily she gives herself, without using the excuse that she's an omega. And yes, I know it's just fiction, blah blah blah, but it touches on a very delicate subject.
On the other hand, none of the characters are particularly endearing or interesting. They're only there to satisfy the morbid fascination with polygamy, and that's all. I expected much more from this story, but I guess that's my fault.
🚨🚨 please read the TW 🚨🚨 JP is just so good at making you feel your feels all while your panties are soaked.
I very much connected with Vera’s character and loved seeing her growth and healing. She far more resilient than she gives herself credit for.
Loyalty through hardship is one thing; it’s beautiful and builds strength. Loyalty through cruelty is something else entirely. You sometimes don’t completely come back from that. It tears you down and spits you out.
I love Kade. A complete and utter menace! He has an energy that speaks to her inner snark she’s never got to use. Dane is the Alpha of the alphas. But, he does have a vulnerable side and will only allow very special people in to see it. He takes his time with Vera. This is all new to her and she needs to be taught and treated with patience as she learns. Dane and Kade are going to be the death of me. Höly shìť. ❤️🔥🥵🫠🫠 Uriel is so sweet and he rounds out Dane and Kades energies. He’s the soft to their harsh edges. I love their tag team dynamic.
These MEN showed Vera how worthy she really is. They helped her heal in so many different ways. A balm for her ravaged feelings and self esteem.
Started off strong pulled me in then down hill towards the middle end ish. First off the omega in this book was abused by her ex and used as a maid by her mom ( basically )🤷🏽♀️ She’s on a dating site and met some guys and she wasn’t taking it slow at all. To add to that she was scent blind. The guys knew they were mates but didn’t tell her. But fast forward I feel like she traded one prison for another. They wasn’t abusive like the last ex was but damn it was giving prisoner with guards. Then what really had me like wdf is going on is when one of the alphas are mysteriously bi and finds out another alpha is her scent match too, He takes advantage of him in the hotel while there omega is going into heat and forces her to watch. Also it’s made as if he liked it!!!! Then after that “welcome to the pack brother” huuuuuh ?????? This is how we welcoming pack members??? He didn’t even ask if he was like that which it never gave throughout the story for both of them. The remainder of the story there pack boyfriends now. Which was so confusing to me. Idk I didn’t like it
Thank you my love, for allowing me to be apart of this amazing ARC team and letting me pre-read such a sexy and beautiful story.
ARC Review:
Dark, hot, heartbreaking, and beautiful and all in under 300 pages. That said, the trigger warnings are especially important with this one.
Vera endured extreme abuse and, because of it, sees herself as less than. A dating app becomes her first step toward stepping out of her shell and trying again, though the journey isn’t without complications. I truly admired her strength and perseverance.
When three alphas enter the picture Dane, Uriel and Kade. All three bring something different to the table, helping Vera slowly rebuild her confidence and realize that the way she was treated is not how an Omega should ever be treated.
I do wish there had been more pack interaction and more one-on-one time with Kade but I still thoroughly enjoyed the ride. And that ending? Absolutely beautiful.
- Dark MMFM Omegaverse - Sexting - Scent matches - Obsessive MC - Traumatized FMC
Wow. Just… wow. This book hit me harder than I expected. I was all in from the first page heart racing, stomach twisting, and completely hooked. The tension is electric, the emotions are raw, and the intensity? Chef’s kiss. Every scene had me on edge, laughing, cringing, and swooning all at once.
The way the story balances dark, heavy themes with moments that made me smile or sigh… perfection. The characters feel layered, real, and completely human, even in their messy, chaotic ways. There’s an energy to this book that just pulls you in, making it impossible to put down. I found myself reading faster and faster, desperate to see how everything would land without ever knowing exactly what was coming and that surprise factor had me so invested.
The romance is bold, unapologetic, and passionate. It’s not just about heat it’s about connection, trust, and growth in all the messy, beautiful ways. The balance of spice and emotional depth makes every moment count. By the end, I was both wrecked and satisfied in the best possible way.
This was a bit new for me as I’m not really a RH reader, but I am so happy to say that I really enjoyed this. It might have even thawed my cold little heart towards RH. The timeline was a little funky for me and I was little confused as to where things were going initially, but once we hit the middle and watched as the pack started to form, it flowed really well and I couldn’t put it down. I feel like things were raw and messy and passionate and beautiful, and that’s life. I liked how things worked out, and I honestly adore Pack Heathen.
If you’re a spice lover, you will be very satisfied with this as it was plenty and varied and sprinkled throughout. I mean literally it was everywhere, and I mean that in a good way. Mind the triggers, babes. This was one has some heavy topics so make sure you’re in a good headspace for it. Overall, this was a really good read and I consumed it all in one sitting. Thank you so much to JP Sina for the arc! Super honored to be part of your hype team, and cannot recommend this enough to anyone who will listen. ❤️
I really wanted to love this book. The concepts are all there. Hell, I even enjoy MM and non-con when they're written well. But the writing completely lost me.
The FMC has been through a ton of trauma, then she meets the MMC who's also carrying a mountain of trauma. Instead of their relationship developing naturally, it felt like an endless cycle of, "I love you," "I didn't mean to hurt you," "I'm scared," "I'm running away," then right back to "I love you" again. It was emotionally exhausting and happened so fast that none of it felt earned. The writing just gave me the ick.
What really pulled me out of the story was the inconsistency. There was one scene where she completely freaked out over something he did because of her trauma. Then literally a paragraph later, she was happily letting him do the exact same thing with no hesitation or explanation. Moments like that made the characters feel inconsistent and made it hard to stay invested.
The ideas were there, but the execution just didn't work for me.
