Milligan can be a bit wordy, and he is here, but this issue almost all works.

Riddler is playing games. And while not my favorite villain, he can make up some exciting moments. In this he's playing a game where letting a woman die in front of the Batman, then he tries to hang a cop and Batman has to rescue him, and then he abducts babies and uses them as a ploy to make Batman pretty much do everything in his power to save them.

Way darker than I expected, but enjoyable. Not sure about that last page though. Let's find out.

“Question. Why do people think being part of the nuclear family gives them a greater right to live?”

I have often wondered this myself. I really enjoyed the Riddler but I didn’t quite love the writing style.

The cursive font is a bit hard to read and it's giving me a headache, but aside from that, an entertaining read.

You could have given 100 guess what that last two pages would be and I’d have said well a zombie of course approximately zero times
