This was one panty dropping novella! Oh ho ho, how the spice was spicy!!! Panties are melted over here! Dean and Reece meet Stacy on Christmas break and help her warm up during the storm. This is one of my favorite Christmas novellas!
My first read from this author and it definitely delivered on the spicy, holiday promise! A quick read that could serve as a palette cleanser/end of the year book to help with your reading goal.
Stacy gets dumped by her boyfriend and decides to take their Christmas vacation alone. She meets Dean and Reece who are vacationing in the cabin across from hers - sparks fly! I’ll say nothing else but I flew through it!
Definitely a bit cheesy at times buttt isn’t that what we all want in a holiday novella? 😉 Wouldn’t recommend reading aloud in public - unless that’s your thing, in which case record it so we can all laugh/be impressed by your ability to get through it without blushing aloud!
I was really teetering on what to rate this. It was a great book for it being so short, fairly good character development. I was weird though, it seemed slow in some parts and fast in others. The fact that she hid that she wasn't on birth control was kinda crazy but I mean I guess if you want that baby you want the baby. but it seemed like she wasn't taking the guys side of things. What if they wanted to be dads? I am not sure if this would mfm or mmf? I mean these guys seem to really care for each other at some point and it wasn't graphic with them but unexpected.
This was my first book by this author and let me tell you what I cannot wait to read more! This book had so many of my favorite tropes… why choose, snowed in, forced proximity, and of course all the breeding. It had its little sweet moments. And it even though these three characters were snowed in a cabin with no power things couldn’t have been hotter! Seriously if you want a fast burn holiday novella with spice and sweetness this is a must read!
If you need some holiday spice to warm you up this winter then this book is for you. It does take awhile to get to the spice but once it hits it hits…. The author was able to pack a lot of details into such a short book and it was perfect. Definitely recommend if you want to see a wallflower break out of her shell and find love in all the fun ways.
So anyone who knows M.A.’s writing style knows she writes dark angsty mystery type right? Well this one? This one is the complete opposite end of the spectrum and let me tell you!!!! It is so so so soooo good. Please you need to meet these MEN. The way this book had me giggling, kicking my feet and swooning at one am. Just do it.
A lot of times these short and spicy holiday novellas are just pure smut… and while that’s still kind of the case here, the plot isn’t bad at all. I actually wanted more from the characters. I would totally reread this one if another 100 or so pages were added so I could learn more about them. But if you’re looking for something short and sweet to hit your yearly goal, give this one a spin!
SUCH A AWESOME READ! if you want spicy, fast burn, novella with a why choose snowed in christmas vibe THEN LOOK NO FURTHER! Its hot, its swoony and it has a few surprises🤭🤭. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
3.5 out of 5 stars, I really wanted to give it a higher rating but the middle-ending felt rushed then when the book skips to six months later, there was no warning or anything and I had to figure out what was happening. I really enjoyed the storyline and characters though.
This was a cute read, I giggled at the title. I read the blurb and I thought this sounds good! I’m so glad I took a chance. I like these MC’s and I could easily read more about them.
Santa came early with this novella in November!!! Nothing beats mental stimulation and physical gratification written by this author! This has it all… wit, smarts, art, spice, and a HEA wrap up!
This was a fun and spicy novella that delivers exactly what it promises. Stacy’s post breakup getaway turning into an unexpected why choose romance is the perfect setup for a quick, sexy read. The winter cabin setting, power outage, and forced proximity all work together to create a super intense connection.
Reece and Dean balance each other nicely. Reece is a protective, comforting presence and Dean with his broody intensity. Their differences make the dynamic feel complete rather than overwhelming, and Stacy’s growth as she steps out of her comfort zone was satisfying to watch.
It takes A LOT for me to love a novella. I struggle with connecting with characters with the limited time and development. Some moments move too quickly, but the pacing works well...for a novella. This is definitely more about chemistry and vibes than deep plot, but that fits the story perfectly.
