Oh my goodness what a book! We have all had regrets and wished we could go back and fix stuff, Brenda wanted just that. For 75 years she wondered if she did things right or ?? So she went to Du Temps Maison and bullied her way in to see Lucien.. because of what she had heard about him and time travel. Being an extremely wealthy, manipulative woman, she was used to bullying people and getting her way. Henry knew who she was from long ago and that she didn’t have an appointment with Lucien. Brenda was going to have her way by intimidation, using her bodyguard, whatever it took. Rules are in place for a reason and she was informed of the consequences of her ‘vacation’ if she didn’t stick to them. Lucien allowed 95 year old Brenda to travel back to her 18 year old body. And it gets good from there.
If you like time travel stories this is one for you! But start at the beginning of the series.. It’s not necessary but you get a lot of background on Lucien and how he became a time sharer and when Henry became Lucien’s right hand man.

This book is great addition to The Time Sharer series. Everyone has wished to be able to go back in time to fix some type of mistake. Brenda wants to do just that. Lucien allows it, and suddenly Brenda is back. Shenanigans ensue and lessons are learned. If you like time travel I definitely recommend this series. But start from the beginning.

This book earned a solid 5 stars. I encourage you to fall into this enchanting adventure with Brenda. It was so lovely a story that I could not put it down. Travel with her to explore her memories and decisions. You will be very surprised with the twists and turns. Happy reading.

Brenda came to see Lucien so she can go to the past to renew her life. She received a second life. Not marry for money but for love. That love can be more than security. Either way she did get rich.
