I am someone that watches every single second of the trial. Listened to every podcast. Reading this from Blanca’s perspective gave insight to the Alex and Maggie and the boys relationships. Blanca fills in the blanks on several things. She lost her friend(s) and I am glad she had the opportunity to tell her side of the story. Also glad that Bubba the dog ended up with her after the trauma he experienced. If you followed the murders like I did, it’s worth the read.
Within the House of Murdaugh is a compelling and intimate account that brings a human perspective to a widely publicized story. Blanca Turrubiate-Simpson offers readers a unique lens into her relationship with Maggie, revealing layers of trust, emotion, and complexity that go far beyond the headlines. The narrative is both heartfelt and thought-provoking, making it a standout for readers interested in true crime with depth and authenticity.
Enjoyed reading her perspective on The Murdaugh family. I’m not sure why they didn’t have her more involved with answering questions etc. it seems she knew them best. It’s nice to hear how Maggie was a genuinely nice person and seemed to have a heart of gold. It’s too bad Alex murdered her and his son, not giving them a chance. May he rot in prison for the rest of his life.
Phew her thoughts on the crime are fantastic and prob spot on. Hopefully if there is a retrial they ask her other questions they didn’t bother to take her more seriously on. Love you Blanca!!! Give bubba a hug for me!!!
Enjoyed reading about Blanca’s perspective and theories on what happened the night of the murders. I think the Investigators definitely overlooked key insights that Blanca had in this case.
This was not the point of view I was looking for. I was looking for more information about the case, this was Blanca thought and feelings which were relevant. It just wasn't what I was expecting.
