4.5⭐️

I loved this book. I think that she did a great job in creating a realistic main character, Sienna. I have never before read a book where the main character was a popstar, which was an interesting approach.
I am a sucker for a fake dating trope and I think it was executed well. A second chance romance does not particularly have my preference, however I think it was incorporated well and realistically.
I appreciate how the relationship with her mother was implemented, it was realistic and handled with care. I liked the set up of the book with the small explanations of the songs that Sienna wrote as opening of the chapters and the comments that people left on social media at the end of the chapters. Overall, this was a very good debut novel in my opinion.

Lastly, I want to thank Georgia for the ARC. This was the first ARC I have ever received, however this did not influence my review.

This might be partially the current phase of my cycle talking but what the hell, let’s go with FULL five stars

Angsty, with lots of feels, mostly sad/devastating ones (complimentary) but if you’re feeling A LOT for solid 80% (if not even more) of the read, then it means the books is GOOD

Put this one on your TBR now!!!!
It’s coming out March 13, longer review to come
I am so glad I broke my “no, really, I am NOT signing up for any more ARCs right now” rule because otherwise I wouldn’t read this book for months and that would be a shame (special shoutout to Georgia Stone because it was only because of Georgia’s instagram stories that I caved and signed up for this ARC 🤭)

Ok let me start by saying the scream I scrumpt when I was soooo kindly gifted my first advanced reader copy of Georgias first book! It was my first e-book (I’m a millennial lol) and I absolutely blasted my way through this.
Now I knew it would be amazing as Georgia has ✨impeccable✨ book taste .

I wanna start by saying that I absolutely loved this story, as soon as it got to the juicy part of the plot formation and how their relationship was going to build I was completely hooked! I kept imagining it as a really creative tv series or a film. Georgia writes with such emotion and warmth , the topics on grief were handled with such care, and the spicy scenes were sensational! 🌶️

This book was like being wrapped in a really warm blanket on a cold day, it was just the read that my brain needed and I am so honoured to have been given early access to read it. I will follow anything Georgia writes as she is a huge talent and will go extremely far.

All I can say is… WOW.

I am an absolute SUCKER for a fake-dating trope, so when I had the opportunity to read this as an ARC reader, I JUMPED at the chance. I already knew I was going to enjoy it, but I didn’t expect to get as emotionally invested as I did. It’s one of those books where you go in, and then suddenly you’re sitting there like… wow, I really finished this in ONE sitting?!

Sienna is everything I love in a female main character. She’s strong-willed and extremely self-aware, but in a way that almost ALWAYS works against her. Her self-doubt, the constant self-questioning of whether she’s actually worthy of the love she’s being given by Luc… it felt very real. Her fears weren't dramatic or exaggerated for the plot; they were extremely honest, especially to me. There were moments where the way she thought about herself was a bit too relatable, and I think that’s what made her stand out to me so much.

What I really liked is that she doesn’t just suddenly change because of Luc. She doesn’t wake up one day and become confident and secure. I know people love it when a main character has some big overnight epiphany, but I love that this isn't what happens here. Sienna is still dealing with the same issues around commitment and fear of being left that she’s carried for years, and that felt so refreshing to read.

It actually felt real seeing her continue to struggle with those thoughts throughout the book, even when things are going well for her. Falling in love and trusting someone isn't a straight line of growth, and that’s what made Sienna's character so believable. I appreciated that so much because it made her feel like a real person, not just a character moving through a romance plot.

And Luc… sweet, sweet GORGEOUS Luc.

He is everything I need in a male main character and more. He has that golden retriever energy, but there’s also that fear that lingers below his surface, much like Sienna. He’s patient with Sienna in a way that never feels forced or unrealistic, and you can tell he really understands her rather than just tolerating her insecurities. He doesn’t try to fix her or rush her into being vulnerable, which makes their dynamic feel so much more genuine.

But at the same time, he’s not just there to be soft and supportive. When he stands his ground or pushes back on her feelings to express his own, it actually means something, and I loved that balance. It made him feel like a fully developed character rather than just “the perfect love interest.”

The fake-dating trope itself was done so well. It didn’t feel awkward or overly set up, and the shift from fake to real was so natural that you almost don’t notice it happening at first because of their history that you instantly pick up on from their first interaction. It’s built through small moments rather than big dramatic ones, which made everything feel more believable and more swoon-worthy.

I also loved the overall tone of the book, especially the way each chapter was paired with either the occasional newspaper clipping about Sienna’s love life or comments about her from various social media sites, some of which were either nice or downright nasty. Each chapter was also named after a track from her albums, complete with a snippet explaining its meaning and inspiration. That structure added so much depth and made the whole story feel more immersive.

What stood out to me most, though, was how those newspaper pieces highlighted the way women, especially women in the public eye, are constantly reduced to their relationships. Sienna’s narrative is repeatedly shaped and distorted by how others portray her, and it felt like a really honest reflection of how quickly a woman’s identity gets overshadowed by who she is or isn't dating. I really liked how Georgia seemed to weave her own voice into Sienna’s narrative to highlight the fact that women simply can’t “get away” with the same things men can, especially under the kind of scrutiny Sienna is placed under throughout the book.

It added another layer to the story that I really appreciated, because it wasn’t just about romance, it was also about perception, control, and how women are so often denied the chance to define themselves on their own terms.

Overall, this was an amazing read, and I can't wait to see more from Georgia. Thank you again for the ARC E-copy! I had a blast reading it!

Thank you so much to Georgia Harvey for this ARC of Infinite Ghost, I had such a lovely time reading this book 🥰

I really enjoyed this book! A second chance romance and eras tour vibes, what’s not to enjoy?? Sienna is such a lovable FMC, with a huge passion and love for music. She truly cares about her team and the people in her life, (those who deserve to be in it).
I adored her relationship with her best friend Jess, what a dream to work with your bestie! I loved the chapter introductions being song titles and their meanings, it gives us a deeper insight into Siennas life and mind. It makes you feel more connected to Sienna as you get to know her through her music.

Oh Luc, the book boyfriend that you are 🫶🏼 I was really rooting for him to break through Siennas walls, he’s so sweet and patient, although I suppose you would be after 10 years 😅 I loved the cute dates he planned for Sienna, to try and give her some normality, you can really tell how much he cares for Sienna. If only she could tell sooner 😭

✨️Infinite Ghost - Georgia Harvey✨️

So so excited this book is finally out!

I got this book as an ARC and loved every single minute. This was the sweetest love story and I loved Georgia's writing style.

The book centers around the FMC Sienna Martin who has been in the music industry for a number of years. She's had a lot of success with number one albums and multiple sold out shows. The book covers how she deals with being in public eye and everything that comes with it. I can't ever imagine having my life on show for the world to judge but the author does a fantastic job on putting the reader in the shoes of Sienna. How she dealt with the chaos of navigating life whilst also being in the public eye.

The we meet Luc and their relationship is everything. How patient he is with her, despite their past, which was another thing that worked really well with the fake dating trope. It has everything, chemistry, tension, sweet and romantic moments.

I also really enjoy how every chapter started with little explanations about one of her songs and how they related to what was current happening in Sienna's life.

This is definitely going to be a book I'll be reading again.

***Please read the trigger warnings beforehand as there are some topics which may be troubling to some readers.

Oh my gosh! Sienna and Luc, this was perfection 🥹 absolute romance gold.

You could tell from the get go that Luc had unfinished business with Sienna, regardless of their set up. You could just feel everything Luc wasn’t saying and honestly it was so relatable I could have cried.

💓 Reasons why you need to read this book:

✨ Each chapter has reference to a song from one of Sienna’s emails and I absolutely loved it! The short paragraph to explain why the song was written or what it was written about made me feel as if I needed to have the physical album.

✨Both main characters are ridiculously likeable and their growth from start to the end of the book is fabulous.

✨ Luc just deserves all the credit for being ‘the one that got away’ even when really, he didn’t actually go away. He was such a good egg! I loved how he treated Sienna. He was so patient and kind to her.

✨ I loved Sienna’s relationship with Rory, this was really special.

✨ Georgia has written about and made reference to some difficult topics within the book. She has done this beautifully and with such sensitivity it felt like my emotions were safe to continue reading.

✨ This book made me swoon, kick my feet giggling, scowl and laugh. I loved it from start to finish and I feel like I can’t formulate the words to explain how good this really is without giving the book away!

You need to read this book, trust me! Calling all bookworms who are a sucker for a second change romance with a hint of spice, a whole lot of love and characters that you will simply adore.

I received this as an ARC - thank you so much Georgia!

This wasn't my favourite romance I've ever read. I think Georgia's writing is incredibly strong and the book was really nicely paced, but it felt like there were a few too many plotlines and in order to finish the book in a reasonable number of pages, some of those plotlines felt very incomplete. There was such a large cast of side characters that I felt like we got a little too much development for them and not enough for Sienna and Luc.

I didn't love Sienna as a main character, and I found her quite whiny and immature. We get a lot of her telling us how misunderstood popstars are, how she just wants to be herself and not beholden to the public image of her, how she'll never have a proper relationship because she can't trust anyone, but no acknowledgement that she's hardly the first famous person in the world. She's also 30- hardly old!

It didn't quite make sense to me that we're told how many albums she's produced, how quickly they've shot up the charts, how quickly she sells out international tours ... yet her record label might not renew her contract? Which it turns out she doesn't necessarily want anyway?

There's a reasonable amount of mentions of people Sienna has lost and how she's always abandoned, and there's lots of mentions of her Gampy, but this storyline isn't really developed and it feels a bit disingenuous to say 'oh she's this super aging popstar, she needs to behave' but then also to expect her to have a full set of grandparents and friends/family?

This was billed as a second chance romance, but frankly the chemistry between the two leads felt forced. I think I remember rightly that they only dated the first time for 3 weeks, and yet somehow he's the one that got away? There was reference to them talking lots after breaking up before Luc was with a new person, but then there's also reference to them not talking at all after she broke up with him, which felt unclear. The first kiss when they get back together felt quite forced (and I felt like Luc was quite pushy, which felt uncomfortable).

I loved Mimi and Jess, and I'd love to read more about them - at one point I was expecting Mimi to come out as a bit of a villan and I would have lived for it! Sienna's relationship with Kareem at one point was super sweet (she gives him gifts for his family! They're together all the time!) then he has a family emergency and she couldn't care less. Sienna's family added another plotline which I think was necessary but could have been more fleshed out and more interesting.

I think this book just needed either to be a longer book, so some of the more interesting plotlines (family, loss and grief, label expectations) could have been explored, or some of the plotlines cut entirely to give a bit more development. I wasn't rooting for Sienna (whiny) or Luc (pushy) romantically but I was rooting for Sienna professionally, and her exploring the expectations on her as a famous woman was much more interesting to me.

I think this was really well written, just needed to be more developed.

Review:
This was an interesting, fun read and in many ways, showed us a different kind of love: The Vulnerable kind that survives outside pressure with Sienna being famous.

We basically follow along from Sienna's POV as she gets a second chance at love with Luc through a fake relationship that might become the real thing?

Sienna is a complicated character, one that the author clearly wrote to make us empathise with her yet feel frustrated at her. There were a lot of moments that I related to Sienna: how hard it is to trust people, how grief changes who you are and you lose sight of it which impacts how others see you and the inability to be able to control everything. It's also protecting yourself from hurt when its been a lifetime of them.

I think writing a character like Sienna with the focus being that she became a pop star so young and that it has dominated so much of her life making her mistrust her own judgement of people and not being able to be her own person added a depth to the story that was done beautifully.

We also get to see Sienna acknowledge her privileges and how she balances that struggle with being Burnt out from her career and we do dive into this as a theme in the book, which I enjoyed overall.

We then meet Luc and as this is Sienna's POV only, we get the entire story from her eyes. My heart did go out to Luc and the hurt they had both endured. I think I would have liked to get to know more about Luc but usually, getting to know the other MCs in a single-POV Romance tend to be a hit or miss depending on the narrative style the authors choose. We do get to see Luc is a kind MMC, one that is willing to stand with Sienna through all her journey and is willing to be there, if she'd accept him. It did hurt my heart when he got hurt, not going to lie but that is a testimony to building a connection with our MMC.

I also loved the theory of Invisible strings, how two people are destined for one another in every life no matter what. It's when Luc tells Sienna that they would have met even if she never became famous🥺

I really did enjoy Infinite Ghost and I can't wait to read more by the author! As her debut, I think this is a lovely book and I'm excited for more releases.

Thank you to the author for the Arc copy in the exchange for my honest opinion.

I am a lover of a second chance romance, and this book definitely delivered it!

Infinite Ghost follows Sienna Martin, an ageing popstar at risk of losing her fanbase, career and record label after one too many scandals. The solution? A revamped image, including a PR relationship with… her ex, Luc Nicholls.

I really enjoyed the relationship between Sienna and Luc and how they had a preestablished bond, which made them able to make one another live a real life again in one way or another. While they did have their trials, as there are in real relationships, especially those in the spotlight, they overcame them and set plans on how each could do better in the future with communication, especially in times when they’re scared. I really adored the invisible string theory tie in and the quieter moments we got with them, or even the small touches/ simple but lovely gestures and would’ve loved to see even more of that.

My favourite part was Sienna’s character. Sienna is written so incredibly well that she reads as a real person. She is a layered woman with a complex relationship with fame, growing older, anxiety, those around her and grief. She, as a character, is so grounded in reality. It would’ve been easy to create a popstar character and make her a caricature, but Georgia’s writing makes her into a dynamic, real life person, almost like you are getting an insight into one of today’s big pop stars. I really liked how it was all from her perspective, which really keeps you in the story and reminds you that while it is a romance, it is Sienna’s story.

I loved the approach to her celebrity, and that we really got into it. It wasn’t vague, and there were a lot of details with the record labels, the stadiums, her struggles with her voice, her PR I could truly go on, which brought realness to the story, which I really enjoyed. I also loved how we got some fleshed out side characters, and that Sienna had a small group of people who she loved and were family to her. Oh and I LOVED the little news clippings and descriptions of songs at the beginning of chapters, which brought you further into this world.

I overall think the writing was just done so incredibly well, and I really look forward to reading more of what Georgia Harvey writes in the future.

Infinite Ghost comes out on March 13th, and you can preorder it from Amazon right now, which I highly recommend you do if you love second chance romances, fake dating, popstars and really incredible writing!!

Thank you to Georgia Harvey for this ARC, and of course, for writing this lovely story!

I was really excited to read Infinite Ghost, having followed Georgia on social media since 2022. I’ve loved watching her writing process and the dedication she showed while completing her book alongside her 9-5.

Infinite Ghost follows Sienna, an ageing popstar whose once‑thriving career is at risk after one scandalous kiss too many. With fans losing interest, she’s terrified her world tour will flop. To salvage her image, her management drafts in Luc, an unemployed screenwriter who also happens to be her ex. With ten years of complicated history between them, can she trust him enough to fake a relationship, especially when the lines start to blur?

If you enjoy a slow burn, second chance romance with fake dating, handling fame and a lovely found family, I think you’ll love this.

I felt completely gripped by Sienna’s story (I stayed up late to finish it in one sitting). She’s a pop star who feels so real to me and Georgia captures Sienna’s experience of fame perfectly with the pressure, isolation, the negative impact of social media and the fear of stepping outside her own front door.

Sienna is a strong but complicated soul, having been continuously let down by the people in her life due to her fame. Her ability to trust is understandably on the floor, but watching her sloooowly come out of her shell and start living again had me grinning at my kindle!

And Luc… what a man!! He was an absolute delight. You know from the very beginning his feelings for Sienna. He offers her patience and steadiness, refusing to give up on her, even though she regularly tries to push him away, he’s the perfect MMC.

I also loved the touch at the start of each chapter where Georgia includes the meaning behind a song from Sienna‘s albums. It adds so much depth and peels back the layers of her hard exterior, revealing the true extent of her feelings for Luc across 10 years.

I loved the side characters, from her PR manager, her manager/friend, bodyguard and driver, all have great personalities and regularly added little comments that made me laugh (you can almost feel Sienna’s eyes rolling!)

There are a few sensitive topics (listed at the front of the book) and Georgia handled these beautifully, with care.

Overall, this is an incredible debut that Georgia should be very proud of. I feel lucky to have had the chance to read it early. I’m so excited to see what she does next!

Thank you to the author for the eARC. Infinite Ghost publishes March 13th.

Thank you so much Georgia for the opportunity to read an ARC of this amazing book!

Infinite Ghost made me realise that maybe it’s a good thing that I have no musical talent, and didn’t end up a famous singer (like my 6-years-old self planned) - I simply wouldn’t be able to handle that life. 😅

Georgia writes in a way that made me feel all the emotions and anxieties that Sienna, our FMC, experienced throughout this book.

By the time we meet Sienna, she’s been on music scene for many years. She’s achieved international fame, released multiple albums with number-one hits, and sold out stadiums. She’s also no stranger to burnout or the grief of losing loved ones, who were a big part of her life. We follow her as she navigates life in public eye and everything that comes with it. I can’t lie - it was absolutely stressing me out how many things she had to consider, and the constant stress and anxiety about what people and media were saying about her. My heart was breaking for her, seeing how isolating and lonely that experience was, and how she couldn’t seem to do anything right, even if she tried very hard. 🥺😭

In an attempt to “fix her image” and stop the media from being so nasty to her (I WAS READY TO FIGHT! 👊🏻), her team comes up with an idea of a fake relationship with her ex, Luc - someone who hasn’t left her head or her heart for he last 10 years. And I’m nothing if not a sucker for a FAKE RELATIONSHIP AND SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE. 🤭😮‍💨

Luc was such a sweetie!!!! 🥹 Honestly, I just wanted to wrap this man in the biggest hug. I loved how he was ready to jump headfirst into Sienna’s often crazy life and prove to her that he was there for her, that he was someone who she could trust, which is something that doesn’t come easily to her. 🥹 Even despite Sienna’s instinct to run every time she believed something was wrong, he was so patient with her! He was so determined to get it right this time, and I admire a determined man! 😤

AND HE WEARS GLASSES!!!! 😮‍💨

I had a great time reading this book, but I did hope we would get a bit more of a character arc for Sienna. I understood where her instinct to run came from and how much she’s been through, but I also felt like I would have liked to see her put more work into maintaining a healthy relationship with Luc on page. It sometimes felt like we would get moments of growth, and then the story would reverse them. I wanted to see more of her own process of realising certain things about herself and her emotions, rather than having other people tell her. I think that would have made those moments feel more impactful to me.

Oh I do love a second chance romance!
Infinite Ghost follows Sienna, an ageing pop star whose once thriving career is rocked by one too many scandals (read she was spotted with some men and the media went mad). With fans losing interest and her tour not selling as quickly as the company would like, compounded with a whole host of grief and complicated relationships, her management comes up with the idea for a pr relationship. In steps Luc, a currently unemployed screenwriter who just happens to be her ex. With ten years of complicated history between them, can they learn to trust eachother again especially when the lines between pr and reality start to blur.

If you love fake dating, slow burn, second chance romances, pop stars with a sprinkling of found family then you will love this book.

Sienna was such a beautiful character to be in the head of and as someone who also second guesses everything they do and deals with the thoughts of not being good enough, I related so deeply to her. She is a pop star who feels like someone who would exist in the real world and Georgia does such a good job of capturing her experience of the pressures and isolation of fame. Sometimes, I did want to grab hold of her and shake her but I think that’s what makes her such a compelling character!

And Luc! Oh lord he is down bad for Sienna and he is not afraid to show it. He offers her a safe space to land, tries his best to understand and even though she continually tries to push him away, he refuses to let her. He is a brilliant MMC and the perfect mirror to Sienna.

I loved the little social media snippets, tabloid articles and the little explanations of a song from her albums at the top of every chapter. It helps us to understand who Sienna is as a person and her actual feelings throughout the years for Luc.

I am so grateful to Georgia for sending me an advanced copy of this book and I cannot wait to see where her career takes her next 🫶💫

what a great debut!! i really really enjoyed this book, couldn’t stop reading and absolutely flew through it!!

i loved the style of writing, with the descriptions of sienna’s songs at the start of each chapter being a really great addition and giving us more of an insight into her, her career, personality and her history with luc. it made it feel more like we got to see her throughout her whole career despite meeting her at her 15th year of her career

both sienna and luc were great characters and i loved their story, im always gonna enjoy a second chance romance!! and i love fake dating too, and it was done so well in this book

a major thing for me is well written side characters, and this was done really well in this book!! i thought all of the side characters were great and very well developed, which adds so much to the story. i loved seeing sienna’s relationships with them all, especially jess

i thought this was an incredible insight into/reflection of pop culture and how women in the music industry/female celebrities in general are treated. could really see the influences of/inspiration from people like taylor swift and ariana grande and what they’ve gone through in the public eye! and the social media comments were soooo accurate, you can tell this author is someone who knows what she’s writing about!

the concert planning/start of the tour felt so reminiscent of the eras tour it was making me emotional! however sienna playing murrayfield stadium in OCTOBER??? i dread to think how cold that would be considering we were freezing there in june😭😭😭

love love love that it was set in the uk idk what it is but i just love a book being set here! i feel like i can connect with the characters even more

it felt so real to me which i really love in a book!!

i loved sienna’s story and how she grew throughout the book, and i think id be a fan of her if she was a real popstar!! i’d be defending her on social media for sure

looking forward to hopefully reading more from this author in the future!!

thank you so much to the author for the arc i’m so grateful!!

Infinite Ghost follows Sienna Martin, a pop star who rose to fame in her early twenties. More than a decade into her career, she is preparing to unveil her newest album. However a ‘scandal’ causes her to be the subject of scrutiny in the eyes of the media, leading to her close team deciding on arranging a PR relationship, to improve her image, help with the release of her album and boost tour sales.

Enter Luc Nicholls, a screenwriter who previously dated Sienna ten years ago. The two agree that he will pose as her devoted boyfriend in the public eye. They plan dates and attract the attention of the media, using this to shift negative attention away from the scandal that Sienna was previously caught up in.

Over the course of five months they continue to be spotted together at public functions and events. But behind the scenes there are lots of ups and downs. Sienna is still grieving the loss of many loved ones, from her grandparents to her father. She has this fear of people leaving whilst also struggling to trust those who come into her life that may have anterior motives. Luc is the one that got away and really tries his best to show Sienna that the arrangement is more than just faking in public.

As a girly that loves second chance romances I love how angsty it was. I totally get where Sienna’s lack of trust was coming from and couldn’t blame her for being on edge at times. While I wont be able to relate to being in the public eye and under contrast scrutiny it did make me feel sorry for other public figures that are constantly being critiqued. Georgia did a great job of highlighting that.

Another thing I loved was that this book wasn’t just a romance, it did feel like a love story as it explored familial relationships and friendships as well. The bonds we make and hold onto overtime as well as those that get broke. This was a great debut and I cannot wait for more from Georgia 🥰

I think this might be one of those books where I struggled to give a proper rating. Technically, I really loved the writing. The story captures Sienna’s perspective so well — someone who has been in the industry for a long time and has learned just how hard it is to trust people. When you’re constantly surrounded by paparazzi, and even the people you once trusted might sell your story, it makes sense that you’d grow anxious and guarded.

There was one part of the book, though, that almost made me want to DNF it. There’s a scene where I literally dropped my Kindle on the floor and pulled at my hair in frustration because of Sienna’s decision. I really despise the miscommunication trope. Even though I understand why she reacted the way she did — she was overwhelmed, emotional, and shaped by everything she’s been through — I still wanted to shake her and yell, “Sienna, that was so obvious! What are you thinking?!”

Throughout the story, I found myself rooting for Luc. He was always there for her, even when she couldn’t trust anyone… including him. Honestly, I think he’s exactly the kind of person she needs. He’s steady, patient, and emotionally grounded in a way that balances her fears and insecurities.

So here’s how I ended up rating it:

Writing: 5⭐️
Personal enjoyment: 3.5⭐️
Average: 4.25⭐️

For a debut novel, this was impressive. The characters felt realistic, and their actions were understandable — even when they frustrated me. I’m definitely looking forward to the author’s future works.

this book was a second chance romance dream! it follows popstar sienna martin, whose reputation in the tabloids is plummeting after one too many scandals. and the only way to restore it? to fake date her ex-boyfriend and convince her fans she’s all grown up….

i love the angst in second chances romances and the gap between sienna and luc’s breakup to present day was filled with it! i felt so much empathy for sienna, for her worries and anxieties around her fame and the toll it took on her personal life. she was a complex female character and georgia did a great job at making her feel so incredibly real, particularly with regards to the media, and the difficulties of being a woman in the spotlight.

where do i even start with luc! he was so attentive and sweet. the way he was always there for her made my heart melt. the history between these two was palpable, neither had forgotten a single moment of it and this just made their emotional connection that much deeper (gah my heart!)

one of my favourite aspects was the british humour and nuances; i have such a soft spot for books set in england and written by english authors.

taylor swift fans, second chance romance girlies and fake dating enthusiasts, add this to your tbr immediately 🤭

thank you to georgia harvey for the e-arc!

💜For a debut novel, this book was amazing. Firstly the gorgeous cover drew me to this book but once I started reading, I was hooked and pulled into the story. The story was well written and had good pacing and there was enough content to keep me interested and reading until the end. I loved Sienna and Luc's characters & the chemistry between them and I wanted them to have their happy ending. I can't recommend this book enough. I will definitely be looking out for more of the author's future releases.

I kindly received this book as an arc, my first one!!! So thank you Georgia for that.

This was a nice enjoyable read. I really liked the meaning of the story. You can have everything in life but you can still feel like you are floating and never truly happy.

I really struggled with full liking the main female character Sienna Martin. I felt she was really quite whiny and immature. I understand why, but sometimes it was too much. She struggled with trusting people, which for a pop star is totally understandable but sometimes her actions were a bit unreasonable

However Luc, what a darling he was. He was well thought out, and very golden retriever in my opinion! The only thing I could not really understand is that the fact Sienna and Luc only dated for 3 weeks. The way their relationship is made out is that they were long lost lovers, but really they were not together for long at all.

I really think this is a lovely debut novel. Georgias writing is very poetic and beautiful. I am looking forward to seeing what Georgia will come out with in the future 💕

Big thank you to Georgia for the e-arc! I thought this was a good read and I was really drawn in by the premise.

I liked the exploration of how women in the spotlight are treated, especially when they reach a certain age. Sienna is 30 which is not even remotely old (I’m 31 myself, still just a baby lol) yet there’s pressure and scrutiny there that men do not face, especially when they leave their 20s and no longer believed to be in their “prime”.

I love a second chance romance and I thought Luc was really a sweet character. He clearly cared very deeply for Sienna. I’d say the chemistry and banter was lacking a little for me and things needed to be a bit more fleshed out. I wasn’t majorly invested in them, but I still enjoyed their scenes together.

I liked this and thought it was a nice read, but it didn’t necessarily blow me away and I sometimes felt like something was missing. However, there’s still a lot to enjoy, and I know a lot of the bookish world will love it. I’m looking forward to reading more from Georgia in the future.

3.5 ✨️

What a pleasure to read a book written by someone from the bookstagram community whom I've met many times. Infinite Ghost is a refreshing read. It is a romance novel, rhat when reading feels like a lot od love, care and time has been put in. I love that it focuses on a 30 year old star and the experience and complexity in the character shows. The yearning from Luc is evident across each page and is a brilliant way of getting a look into his character especially as we do not read from his perspective.

There is a fine balance between emotional depth and lighthearted banter and the whole book stayed true to it's focus on Sienna's journey navigating stardom — from insecurities to criticism and success to adoration. Sienna is not some airhead popular that is out of touch; her point of view feels like we are getting a look into her journal.

What I would have appreciated is more scenes from the past and a stronger background of their previous relationship and a paced build-up of the present romance. It felt rushed towards the end and could have had more chemistry at times.

📚 BOOK 28 OF 2026 📚

👻 INFINITE GHOST - GEORGIA HARVEY 👻

ARC kindly gifted by the author 😀

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Summary: Infinite Ghost follows Sienna, a renowned pop star, as she enters into a fake relationship with her ex, Luc, a screenwriter and producer. As they keep up their in love appearance in front of cameras, lines slowly begin to blur and fake feelings quickly turn to real feelings.

Thoughts: I really loved the vibe of this one! It was fun and sweet, but also was atmospheric and pulled you right in. The characters were super cute and I had a really great time getting to know them. I appreciated how they weren't just surface level stereotypes, they had real depth and raw emotions behind them. This made me connect so well with them and just made them seem much more relatable. Their was real fears and insecurities that had to be addressed in order for their relationship to be successful. It made their relationship much more meaningful and authentic. I found Sienna's fears and struggles to be especially relatable, which i think was crucial for the author to do because of her career. She never once appeared shallow or out of touch, she was authentically her which allowed to connect so intimately with her. Luc was super supportive, and i love how he quietly cheered her on and let her lead things. He was in the background, but he never faded away next to her because he treated her so fairly and equally. Their chemistry was great and i think the emotional depth between them really strengthens their relationship. The setting was super fun! It felt really electric and full of energy, and all the different aspects of the music world drew you in. One of my favourite elements in this book, and all books in general, is the use of multimedia. I found it so fun and refreshing, and it actually added to the story. It helped you better understand the pressures on Sienna and how the public viewed her not really as a person, but as a form of entertainment to consume. It added to the atmosphere of the novel and was super engaging for the reader to delve into. I loved the songs at the start of each chapter because it felt like getting to know Sienna and her feelings a lot better. It made the reading experience not just more enjoyable, but more immersive because you didnt just read about her and her music career, you got to experience it as well. My only thoughts for improvement would be that the relationship could have been a little more fleshed out. I saw all the emotional depth and their feelings from the past, but I think more of the mundane moments of them having conversations about nothing and really just spending more time together could have been beneficial. I also just think that some of the scenes could have flowed on a little better, as some did feel a little disjointed reading. So just making sure that each scene connects somewhat and just really flows, so as not to disrupt the overall flow of reading. But these things did not have a major impact on my reading and are just some minor things I would recommend to the author as a reader. Overall, this was such a fantastic debut read with heartfelt, loveable characters and an atmospheric setting!

Final rec: 100% recommend this one!

georgia harvey has written my dream book, it’s exactly what i needed. this book is like, insane perfection to me and here’s why:
- i LOVE sienna & luc, they were such a pleasure to read and were so well written
- the whole plot, vibes and aesthetic of the book just takes me back to eras tour & just sparks my absolute love for the pop girl industry
- the writing about the hard truths of being in the spotlight is just so heartbreaking but so real (not that i’d know, i’m just a girl who spends 95% of her time in bed with books and NOT on a stage) but it honestly broke my heart and put it back together
- kareem <3
- also there was a point in this book where i cried and then laughed all in one chapter

i found georgia on tik tok a few months ago and i waited so long for this ARC, im so happy i was able to get it and that i was absolutely not dissapointed, thank you sm georgia

i am so celebrating this books release next month. 💜👻

Thank you to the author for sending me an ARC copy of this book.

I fell in love with the cover the moment I saw it on tiktok and I knew I had to read it. I can't even describe how happy I was when I received the ARC.

I loved Sienna's story and her strong friendships with Jess, Mimi, Kareem and Dennis, and her relationship with Luc was so well-developed. The only reason is not a 5 stars is because I thought it was too much to include so many misunderstandings coming from miscommunication. I understand that it's part of Sienna's character flaws, but after they already talked about communicating feelings with each other before running away, I thought it was a bit much.

Overall, I had an amazing time reading this, could hardly put it down, and it's a very solid debut novel. Can't wait to read whatever the author is planning next.

Also... am I the only one who sensed some vibes there between Jess and Rory? Am I reaching?

Infinite ghost takes you on a slow burn ride. The main characters Luc and Sienna make the perfect recipe for a second chance romance. The plot itself is filled with the perfect mixture of all the tropes, whether it be the misunderstandings or angst. Sienna is like the badass rockstar we all wished to be when we grew up. It was also eye opening to read about the struggles women face in the entertainment field. Rory plays the perfect sibling and Mauve infuriated me to no end. The manipulation tactics and the gaslighting really pissed me off which just shows excellent writing on the author's behalf. All and all, Infinite Ghost is definitely a must read, for the awesome slow burn second chance romance that it is. Also, loved how the author kept the smut to a minimum and made the plot more about the characters developing a bond and learning to trust each other again rather than them just sleeping around and then bonding.

Infinite Ghost by Georgia Harvey

I'm always such a sucker for a slow burn fake dating and this one got me gooood. I really enjoyed the angst and tension between Sienna and Luc through their journey back together, and all their invisible strings was just so good.

I really enjoyed all the mixed media woven throughout each chapter. I don't know how Georgia came up with all this brilliance, but I loved loved loved it, and it was such an amazing insight in the depth of Sienna's character.

Luc the perfect angel just knew how to do and say all the right things through the whole story and absolutely understood where Sienna's battles were coming from (a king). The contrast in their personalities and lives made them mesh together all that much better, and I really loved how that came about in the epilogue as well!

Thank you so much, Georgia for the ARC! This was an amazing debut, and I can't wait to see how your writing journey continues!!

4.5 ⭐

I really enjoyed this book, with its different setting compared to many of the other contemporary romance books I often read. I love reading the narrative from Sienna's point of view, while also getting snippets of news articles and comments to show how she is perceived in the public eye. Starting each paragraph with an explanation behind each of her songs was a great way to get more insight into Sienna's history and relationship with Luc. The writing was beautiful and a joy to read.

The only thing for me that could have made it 5 stars is a bit more time with Luc and Sienna doing the more mundane things, building up some of those feelings again through messing around and relaxing, in addition to a lot of the emotional conversations they had.

What a debut novel 📚

3.75 if I could!!!⭐️

I honestly loved this way more than I thought I would, but as someone who grew up on fanfiction…I fear it was inevitable!

I loved the slow pace of this, the invisible string theory, the angst - it was more than JUST a love story which made me love it even more!

If you grew up on wattpad like me & are a sucker for a love story I would highly recommend this.

The fact that sienna was so realistic, relatable and almost normal while being a pop star - love !!

The ups and downs of the relationship were perfect - believable, not too much, not too little, but you went on the journey with them - I was frustrated along with Sienna at points!

This book explores some sensitive yet relatable topics which I really appreciate.

I highly recommend this!!!
