My childhood was a messed-up disaster and outside of my friends, I had nowhere to turn because I was convinced my papa and his club brothers would take my father’s side. I found out differently one night, but by then, I was used to holding myself back from everyone else. Even my brothers are held at an arm’s length, although I’ll protect them with my last breath if I need to do so. No woman has ever captured my attention, even though I’m glad two of my brothers now have old ladies, because they brought me my princess and little prince to watch over.
Then I see her one day in town, a petite, curvy woman who captivates me and makes me want what my brothers have for the first time in my life—a woman, a family, a home. Only, I can’t find her anywhere, no matter how many times I ride into town and search. The day we rescue Zoey and Elodie, I find my beautiful warrior. My goddess, Letti. Now to figure out what to do with her because I’m clueless when it comes to relationships.
Letti
Growing up, I learned I was worthless, dispensable, and unwanted. Those words have been so shoved into me they’re buried in the marrow of my soul. When I finally break free with a little help from my cousin, I find myself settling in a town that’s overseen by a local motorcycle club, the Kings of Anarchy. While I don’t envision getting involved with them at all, I know that I’ll be safe here.
I don’t expect to be kidnapped or being locked up in a cage, bruised, battered, and beaten on my Bingo card for the year. When the woman in the cage next to me assures me that her family is coming, I want to roll my eyes. If only my head didn’t hurt the way it did, I probably would have. Still, she’s insistent that her man, who’s with the Kings, is coming to rescue her and her little girl. A glimmer of hope sparks within me, but I know from past experience not to fan it, and instead, accept my fate, which is not good.
Only, Zoey was right and I find myself being carried out of the pits of hell by the man I’ve taken to calling Viking in my head. I saw him one day in town and something in him called to me. But there’s no way he’ll ever look in my direction at all; I’m so far below his league I won’t entertain any hope that someone like him would want me.
I’m worthless, nothing more than a waste of space, while he’s larger than life. Once he realizes how I view myself, he sets about showing me the error of my ways.

I have been an avid reader for most of my life. When I was younger I used to sit and fill spiral notebooks full of stories. As I got older, I took the jobs needed for raising my boys as a single mom, until I met my now amazing husband. I have stopped working in the last three years and started promoting authors, then I blogged and reviewed for authors, which lead me down the path to writing and creating characters and stories. I love creating behind the scenes with my writing getting to use my imagination and write the story as it comes to me. My youngest is now a senior in High School leaving me with some spare time on my hands to be filled. I am loving the people I am meeting and the support system I have found. Everything is written in past tense, so all the good stuff is skimmed past. Still don’t like the way that Icer is with the kids. There’s also lot of plot mistakes, and ridiculous plots.
Sorry it’s not very well written about trauma. According to the author you get over being r******d without any nightmares or lasting trauma!!! Yes she does have some counselling but not a huge amount. Nearly the whole book is written in the past tense, no idea why as it totally spoilt it. Lettie apparently plays tricks on Icer when he annoys her but that’s written about later. I wanted to know!! They snuggle on the sofa and watch movies, AGAIN NOT WRITTEN ABOUT! 😡😡😡
In the beginning of the book, we finally get sort of an explanation about why Icer is the way that he is with kids. I’m sorry but it’s still weird. I understand he had a horrible childhood, as his dad was mean a drunk who was abusive to both him and his mother, so Icer decides that he’ll protect all children. It sort of explains it but I still don’t like the way that he takes the children off their parents WITHOUT asking permission!
In the previous book it shows Icer fighting his feelings for Lettie and he won’t accept that they’re anything more than friends. It didn’t show any of that in this! They do everything together, hold hands, snuggle on the sofa, but they’re not together. Erm…. 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Icer sees Lettie in the town and is transfixed by her, and she is by him. It says in the plot that Icer ‘searches’ for her, NO HE DOESN’T! He doesn’t look for her at all! When the Mc rescues Zoey and Elodie from traffickers they find Lettie there as well. Lettie has been brutally r……d and beaten. This part is terribly written about her trauma. It doesn’t seem to bother her at all. Even when they take her back to the compound, for someone who has been beaten and brutally r…..d by several men she’s perfectly fine with all the strange men around. I’m sorry but she would be traumatised!!! She’s laughing and joking with all the men in the Mc. 😡😡😡😡
Through this series, Icer has always been a bit unhinged. With how this book opens, you learn why and how that happened. I do love how he is with the kids, even as is frustrated the parents at times. I wondered how a woman would throw Icer, so was looking forward to this one. Lettie had just as bad of a background as Icer, so it makes sense they would be drawn to each other. I liked that they didn't land in bed right away. Instead they build a solid friendship. Heck...Icer didn't even realize he was in a relationship with Lettie for most of the book, until it was thrown in his face. He even brought that up to Lettie as they really talked about things between them. It was nice to see how things ended between them, they deserve all the happiness they can find.
On a side note, the stuff with the town and the Dragons/Devils, was sort of anti climatic. I thought what happened with the Sheriff was good, just hope the gang is gone as well.
Ok, first off I want to thank Liberty Parker for explaining in the beginning of the book about how this one was going to jump around a bit. You really have to read these books in order to understand everything. Now on to Icer and Letti. My goodness they both had shit childhoods. I was so wrong about Icer's. But I get why he's so protective of children. Letti, my gosh, what the hell. I just don't know what to say about the way she grew up and then what she went through with the Onyx idiots. They really need to be taken out, I don't mean for dinner. Letti's family needs to be blown to smithereens. I'm glad one of the people was taken out but I wish they would have suffered way more than they did. I liked Letti calling Icer Viking instead. They brought out the best in each other. I like how over the top icer is but Letti's sassiness brings him back to as normal for him as can be. Viking was super patient with Letti and that's just what she needed. Ok, I'm not saying anything else except, read the book.
I have waited for this one with so much excitement, the wait was so worth it! We get so many questions answered from previous 2 books . If you haven’t read them please go back. In this book we get a better understanding into Icer and how many failed him. But we see how much of a heart ♥️ Icer has as he grows . This book shows how behind the walls Icer has an amazing way of making Letti feel safe and protected. Letti wow I just fell in love with the sassy, strong, survivor with a heart just wanting to be loved . It shows how she could of given up but she chose to be strong, and move forward to a family she always wanted. Liberty Parker has been giving us five awesome, action packed, twists and turns, emotional, laugh worthy, I even cried dang I can’t say enough on how this book 📕 was written AMAZING ! Also interlocking with the other Kings of Anarchy characters. Loved it! Can’t wait for the next one 🖤
Icer & Letti: triggers- kidnapping, human trafficking, sexual assault, drugs, domestic abuse, I.C.E., FINALLY, we get Icer 's story, I've been waiting to hear about the giant teddy bear Viking who loves the babies at the clubhouse. totally didn't expect how dark L.P. would make his backstory but I'm here for it. Letti is Mexican raised only to help her mom deliver her brother's and sister's and watch them be sold off. she finally breaks free when it's her turn to start the baby mill. she meets Icer when the club rescues Zoey and Elodie and he doesn't know what to think. it's adorable reading how he's learning how to be in a relationship and the same with her. the two of them are smoking hot but when he pulls out the angry Viking to protect the woman he loves, it's thrilling. I loved this one.
Property of Icer is book 3 in the King of Anarchy MC: East Texas written by the amazing and talented author Liberty Parker. This is Icer and Letty’s story of resilience, strength and survival. The author did an outstanding job explaining how both leading characters survived their childhood situations and are truly trying their hardest to live life as best they possibly can. There’s drama, enemies, brotherhood banter, new beginnings, friendship, romance and so much more. I highly recommend reading this book and all Liberty’s books. Can’t wait for more….
I absolutely loved seeing the other side of Icer. He has always been this hard character. Don’t get me wrong, I was always intrigued by him and absolutely wanted to know more and see more behind the character but wow. I loved getting to know him and his background. Plus, getting to see him fall and feel all the feels was incredible. It was just so great to see that side you know he only shows to her. Excited for what’s to come!!
2 people in the world who have been hurt and abused in multiple different ways, but work perfectly together warts and all. They fight their past and themselves just to feel worthy, it was easy to grow to love them. The storyline is creatively written so you can relate to their issues but it doesn't dominate the story, the story says focused on their relationship. It is also part of an ongoing story so I am looking forward to the next book.
I have been waiting for Icer, and Liberty Parker didn’t disappoint! It was so great to get Iver’s backstory. It broke my heart, but made me understand him so much better. I love how Lettie brought out his soft side. I especially love how both of them are so protective over Elodie & Little G. This book is definitely going into my library of must re-reads!! 5 stars for sure!
Great cover. Check. Beautiful love story. Check. Sixpence and action abound. Check. This is book three in the East Texas chapter and the storyline flow from one book to the next. Liberty is a master at her craft, her plot and arcs re perfection. You guys are going to love Icer, he is very special and what a alpha. Five stars and a must read. Liberty delivers. You won't be disappointed, highest recommendation. Peace out.
Icer is a man of few words. He runs into Letti in town one time but never sees her again until he is helping rescue Zoey and Elodie from the Onyx Dragons. He takes her to his house so she can heal and not be taken again by taking her to her apartment. They develop a relationship that grows at a snails pace. Letti thinks that Icer doesn't like her romantically until she finally asks him and he tells her exactly how he feels.
Icer & Lettie! I have loved Icer since the first book. We learn about how his past shaped him and made him into the way he is. I love how protective he is over Lettie and the kids. Lettie is strong independent woman and is exactly what Icer needs in a woman. Bring on the next book!!!
Seems like Ive been waiting for Icer's story forever, but it was worth the wait! It explains so much about Icer & Letti! I really liked how Icer's story ran parallel to Lighting Up The Biker & Shot Through the Heart! Youre going to want to read both of those (holiday collab novellas both by Liberty Parker) to get some answers!
A thoroughly enjoyable read, I absolutely loved Icer and Letti’s story ❤️❤️❤️ He certainly wasn’t built for or interested in having an Old Lady but Letti found her way to his heart. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤
Love this book and it's series and would recommend it to anyone who loves to read about MC life and their family and friends 🩷 and Liberty Parker is an amazing writer 🩵
That was pretty good but I'm a little disappointed about them not going after her family. He never really likes anyone but the kids cause of how he was brought up but with 1 sm slip of a woman things suddenly changed 4 the better even though he has no idea how 2 deal with any kind of relationship.
The Viking of the club who protect kids and the women finally claims his on Letti. But this Latin beauty comes with a damaged pass making her perfect for Icer. As the club fight a war in their own town.
Another good addition to this series of books. Good characters and storyline along with some good twists and turns plus action and suspense. A bit of humor too. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
Love these two. They had terrible childhood and worse parents / family. Letti was rescued by the Kings after seeing Icer before and liking it. Read it!
Amazing! I have loved Icer since Property of Indiana and learning more about this past and how it shaped him. They are exactly what the other has been missing!
OMG! Liberty you broke my heart in the beginning, my poor Icer had a horrible young life.. he grew up and became the protector of the young not caring what anyone thought of the way he treated his “Princess or Lille”Prince”.. then he sees Letti his Goddess”. I fell in love with Letti, she is sassy, strong, survivor who just wants just to be loved for who she is. Through all the action, twist, turns, suspense these 2 work their way through their emotional past to find their HEA
The author kept skipping through the timeline to get her story further along. Also, skipping through the story until you don't know where you are in it.
