I’m a city girl through and through. But a single dad and his adorable daughter are starting to make small town Angel Mountain feel a lot like home…

Landing a job with a big-city publisher was my dream come true. But causing the scandal that ended my career before it really got started turned it into more of a nightmare. And ever since “the incident,” no other publishing company will even give me the time of day.

So when I get the chance to take over a small-town bookshop in the Pocono Mountains, it feels like fate. Running my own little shop isn’t exactly my area of expertise. But at least it’s a life surrounded by books, which is all I ever really wanted.

It’s not easy. But somehow, through all the surprises and growing pains, it’s thoughts of Roan Connelly that keep me up at night. The local Christmas tree farmer has a little girl who lights up my whole heart like the north star. And it probably doesn’t help that he’s also unbelievably gorgeous and so kind that it sometimes brings tears to my eyes, or that he smells like pine trees and paradise.

But I’m clearly barking up the wrong Douglas Fir, since the rugged single dad seems content to ignore the smoldering chemistry that’s building between us. I guess some things just aren’t meant to be, no matter how hard you try to stay on Santa’s nice list.

Now, with a big snowstorm on the way, the bookshop in real trouble, and Roan’s little daughter longing for an unlikely Christmas gift, my only hope is that against all odds, the stars will somehow align for the three of us, and for the little town that I’m starting to love…

Oh Little Town is a clean & wholesome Christmas romance, perfect for anyone who loves a lighthearted holiday rom-com and a happily-ever-after.

If you love no spice romance books and you’re a fan of stories with tropes Single Dad, Small town, Christmas Holiday, Grumpy & Sunshine, Snowed-in, and more, this is the series for you!

Taylor decided to move to Angel Mountain and re-open the bookshop after she was fired from a New York City publisher. Next to her shop there's a Christmas tree seller, who is the perfect embodiment of a grumpy lumberjack. Roan and his daughter Meg will help Taylor to settle into the new town, quickly they become a support for each other.

I fell in love with all the characters, but my favourite are Taylor and Meg for their love of reading and books. Roan looks like a big bear, but he only needed the right person to show his kind and caring personality.

I've really enjoyed Oh Little Town from start to end, it talks about books, Christmas and the family we found. I recommend it.

City girl, Taylor Greer loved her job as a big-city publisher. That’s all she’s ever wanted to do. She loves reading. She signed a big contract with a new author and a different genre without her boss’s permission. She knows this will be a big hit. Was she wrong? He boss was furious because it was a big payout and ended up firing her. She decided to move to Angel Mountain, a small town where she took over her aunt’s bookstore. Now she’s excited. This is a new beginning and she’s going to make it work. The town is small, quaint and has beautiful views of the pretty town.
She sees a handsome man selling Christmas trees in the lot next door. She doesn’t know he’s her landlord. All she knows is that the landlord is grumpy. Roan Connelly loves his small town. Loves working on the family farm and can’t wait to run it one day. He’s grumpy, handsome and a single dad after his wife left him alone with his daughter, Meg.
Taylor thinks Roan is handsome and is daughter is wonderful. She loves books just like Taylor. The two hit it off like wildfires. Roan lets her visit Taylor while he sells trees. He can keep an eye on her, and Meg seems to smile more.
As the three of them navigate their friendship, Taylor seems to fall for that precious little girl. She’s cautious of Roan. He’s cautious too after his devastating divorce. Can Roan and Taylor keep their feelings in check? Will Roan still respect her after she tells him of her mistake? Will Taylor succeed? Will she get everything she wants? Will her mistake become a success story? Will there be some Christmas magic and Christmas miracles? This couple deserves a chance at happiness and Meg deserves it too. This story makes you believe in it. I didn’t want to put it down. It’s a quick, sweet and fun read. Worth it. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily.

A beautiful sweet small town romance bringing us back to Angel Mountain and all it’s wonderful characters and Christmas traditions. Taylor moves back to Angel Mountain after inheriting her aunt’s bookshop and there she meets Roan and his lovely daughter Meg. They all become fast friends and develop a fit into each other’s lives. Once again Clara Pines delivers a wholesome and loving novel that is filled with lots of loving and tender moments and it sure brings a smile to your face. A great read that you will just love and adore.

Best book

Oh Little Town ( Angel Mountain Christmas Book 3) is such a fun book!! I bought it just because Clara Pines was the author and I’m so glad I did.
Taylor has is looking for a new start after getting fired from her job in a publishing house. Her aunt also wanted a change of pace so Gabe Taylor her old bookstore in the little town of Angel Mountain.
Next door to the bookstore is a Christmas Tree Lot run by Roan. Some folks say he’s grumpy but Taylor sees a different side of him. And Taylor and Roan’s daughter, Meg, who loves to read hit it off right away.
I can’t wait to re-read this book and get the other books in this series.

Great story

A great story of a NYC girl who takes over her aunt's book shop. She was fired & this is a new start as a book shop owner. She is surprised @ the drab shop with some empty shelves. She's got plans to make it better. Then she meets some students who make some book suggestions. They are all book lovers.
A fun, happy story.

Another lovely Angel Mountain Outing

Not Rick - Jan (shared account). I’ve enjoyed all the Trinity Falls & Sugarville Grove novels; expected to enjoy Oh Little Town, and I certainly did! What wasn’t to enjoy - the well-written characters, both primary and secondary, the engaging plot, the charming town, and Clara Pines’ ability to draw us into her created world. An added bonus - Taylor’s former boss eating “humble pie.” Nice. Very, very nice.

Taylor and Roan’s story was so sweet. I enjoyed reading about the Connelly family from Angel Mtn. Especially Meg. The story was fast passed and kept me interested from the first page to the last. Watching Taylor bring a bookstore back to life and see her dreams come true while working book magic for children and helping someone find their happiness all while she is recovering from her life imploding made her a true heroine. I hope we get to read more about this sweet family!

As I waited for the release of Oh Little Town: A Sweet Small Town Romance (Angel Mountain Christmas Book 3) the 3rd and I hope not the last of this wonderful series I did a re-read for the 3rd time of the other two books to refresh my memory of the wonderful little town of Angel Mountain.
Well Oh Little Town popped onto my Kindle just after midnight yesterday morning (Tuesday) and I thought great my reading for this evening as life happens it was a little late when I finally get the chance to start reading so I though a couple of chapters tonight then the rest tomorrow, I should have known better, I DO know better but I started reading anyway.
This wonderful story had me from the first page, I just couldn’t stop reading because I became so emotionally invested with these wonderful characters they were all so real that they fairly leapt of the page at me: Taylor, Roan, Meg and Buck (hopefully there will be a story for him) Roan’s parents Ellie and Phil are so lovely you can just feel the love between them and you can just feel the hugs that Ellie gives. Taylors Grammy was a hoot; wow I would love a grandma like her.
The description of Taylors vision of her bookshop filled with couches in cosy little corners for people to sit and read made me wish I had a bookshop like that to go to what a wonderful place that would be to spend lose hours in.
Well as usual I didn’t listen to myself and a couple of chapters became the whole book at 12.45am this morning (Wednesday) I read the final page of the bonus Chapter of Oh Little Town, I wiped my eyes and sighed with contentment of the pleasure of once again reading another well written amazing book that captured my imagination and engaged all of my emotions.
Job well done Clara !!! another truly well written captivating story

This is the third book in the Angel Mountain Christmas series and it is this beautiful story of instant love and books. I mean who can’t love a story about books? I know I probably say this about each book that Clara Pines releases, but it is a book you can’t put down until you are finished because of this incredible way of how she puts words together in her stories. It doesn’t matter that Christmas was over months ago, the magic can continue throughout the year.

Taylor Greer is a Bonafide city girl and has been striving for excellence in working for a big name publisher since the start. She is the one that takes risks and they usually pay off, except the latest one. The one that caused her to be fired because no one believed a book about unicorns and space would be a winner, Uh hello who doesn’t like books about unicorns? So, she decides the best answer is to takeover the bookstore from an aunt in this funky dunk small snowy town and meet a grumpy man with who turns out to be her landlord. But it is his daughter that wins her over from the start, this amazing little girl who loves books too. In a short time Roan Connelly realizes that maybe being grumpy about things isn’t the answer, especially when you sell Christmas trees and your daughter is happy. This woman, Taylor had made such a difference in your daughter’s life and yours. There is no denying the attraction between them especially as the Christmas season and its magic gets closer.

Thanks to 1852 Media and the author for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is book 3 in a wonderful small town, heartwarming series. Ms. Pines has a marvelous way of telling a story that makes you feel like you’re living right there with the characters of the storyline and Oh Little Town is no exception. This is a romantic storyline between two people that have gone through a rough patch in their lives and are just trying to start over and forget the past. For Taylor it’s leaving NY City and moving to a small town in the Pocono Mountains. She’s leaving her dream job, after causing a publishing scandal, to take over her Aunt's beloved book store. While she's surrounded by books, something she’s loved since she was a kid, she wasn’t expecting to fall in love with the quaint little town or grow an attachment to the town grump, Roan the local Christmas Tree Farmer, and his daughter Meg. As a reader watching these three grow close and bring out the best in one another was simply delightful. Their past and current paths are not all smooth sailing but there is something to be said about not traveling it alone.

I can’t recommend this book or the series enough. If you haven’t given Ms. Pines’ books a try, I highly recommend it. Her small town, clean romance series are heartwarming with added bits of everyday humor.

We are in Angel Mountain and what an amazing story ! Angel Mountain is a quaint small town. Taylor is looking to reinvent herself after losing her job and feels like this is the perfect place. Taylor will now be running a small bookstore. Taylor is excited as she loves books and willing to do whatever it takes to make it a success. Roan Connelly is running the tree stand next door. When a tree unexpectedly comes crashing through the bookstore window it catches them both off guard and it’s the start of both of them realizing that this could be something. Roan is excited but wary of relationships and is a single dad to a young girl. Roan’s daughter, Meg is a book lover who quickly forms a relationship with Taylor. Roan and Taylor take their time to get to know each other and share their experiences and failures. As Christmas approaches so does the magic that is woven into each Clara Pines book. Roan, his family and the townspeople show Taylor the wonders of small town belonging. When a misunderstanding happens and Roan tries to stop her from crushing his heart he crushes hers. Will Roan realize what he has done? Will Taylor accept his apology? Can these three form a happy family? You don’t want to miss this book. 5+ stars.

In this sweet, clean romance, we are transported once again to Angel Mountain, on idyllic town in the Poconos.
This is the town where Taylor Greer has moved after she inherits the local book store from her aunt. It’s also where she’s come to re-charge after being fired from her publishing job in NYC.
Whom she never expected would change her life was single dad Roan Connelly. Her grumpy landlord, temporary neighbor, and father of the adorable Meg.
As Taylor works to revamp the bookstore, Meg, Roan and the rest of his family show her the wonders of the town.
Will this move end up being the best thing that has ever happened in her life and her career? Will Roam show Taylor that underneath his grumpiness is a man that loves deeply but also fears being left behind again?
Once again, this talented author manages to deliver not only a sweet, and touching story, but one filled with life’s lessons. A reminder that sometimes what at first seems like a disaster and terrible thing, will in fact be the best thing in one’s life as it leads one to a new road filled with more happiness and a wonderful future.
I was entrusted a copy of this . The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Delightful story with a lot of heart.

Another delightful, emotional story by Clara Pines set in the town of Angel Mountain, PA. I love this series and the people who call this town home.

Roan and Taylor share an instant connection, not only with each other, but also between Taylor and Roan’s nine-year-old daughter, Meg, who seems to warm to Taylor just as quickly, maybe even before her father does. I especially loved how Taylor helps Meg come out of her shell through their shared love of books and by introducing her to other children with similar interests.

The relationship between Roan and Taylor moves quickly, but still carries a slow-burn emotional depth that makes it feel real. It was especially meaningful watching Roan learn to trust and love again, while Meg grows into her confidence and self-worth.

This series continues to be something truly special. I’ve fallen in love with the town of Angel Mountain and its people, and I wouldn’t mind living there myself. If you’re looking for a sweet, clean, family-oriented story, Oh Little Town is a quick read that still delivers a lot of heart.

Taylor’s aunt ‘gifts’ her an under-achieving bookshop in the small town of Angel Mountain just as her publishing career implodes in New York. Despite her humiliation, Taylor approaches her new venture with a positive attitude, which is brought into doubt when she learns her landlord is ‘a grump’ and encounters an equally morose neighbour, Roan, who is selling Christmas trees from the lot next door. Taylor’s optimism and Roan’s daughter, Meg, quickly develop a strong partnership.
A dynamic family unit, with diverse members who cheerfully receive new friends into their home, a bookshop owner who creates a welcoming and encouraging environment for children who love to read, and an outcome which clears Taylor from a perceived career error all contribute to an excellent story.
Ms Pines’ Angel Mountain novels are picture-postcard stories, featuring heartwarming holiday themes which are fairly light-hearted, although each has a secondary topic that pulls at the reader’s emotions.
I received a free advanced copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another sweet romance in Angel Mountain. Roan is a single dad, who most townspeople consider a grump. He is all about his tree farm and raising his daughter, never looking for a partner since his ex left both him and his daughter. Taylor just moved to Angel Falls after her career blew up, she plans on reopening the book store. He is her landlord, but he also can’t seem to stay away and his daughter gets attached quickly.

I liked how they got to know each other and opened up to each other when the time was right. The connection she had with his daughter was sweet and I appreciated that neither one played games. When he hears a phone call, he doesn’t stick around to hear her answer because he believes he knows what she is going to do. He pushes her away, rather cruelly, and she has no idea what happened.

I really enjoyed this book and the connection between all characters. This town is sweet and the residents would do anything for each other. I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.

Oh Little Town
By: Clara Pines

Have you ever been knocked off your feet due to making a decision that you were positive it was the “best” one possible to only be criticized for that decision?Taylor is a book publisher with the authority to sign contracts for new manuscripts. She discovers a new author that she believes is the next big thing, however her boss feels differently. Forced to begin again, she relocates to a small town in the Poconos. Her confidence is at a low level but she blossoms as she rebuilds her life by re-opening her aunts book shop. Little does she know this will be a pivotal moment in her life. Roan is tagged with the town grump, he is Taylor’s new landlord. He and his beautiful daughter, Meg become an integral part of Taylor’s life. But, as usual life offers up a U-turn. Great read that you will be cheering for Taylor, Roan & Meg.

This book was not exactly what I was expecting going in to reading it and I am okay with that. Taylor did her thing, and it kinda bit her in the butt. But what came after that initial blowup was perfection. For her and for me. I loved the story that followed. Roan is such a mood. He’s grumpy and handsome and holds a fierce love for his town and his daughter. And that daughter steals the whole show. Meg is phenomenal. I love her. Both Roan and Taylor are cautious and slow to let people in. And watching them open up to each other and things between them grow was so heartwarming. Their friendship morphs and changes, and it was so wholesome. You can’t help but want these three, yes I’m including Meg, to get everything their hearts want and need. And this ending was everything for me. Absolutely adorable and sweet.

Another sweet story set in Angel Mountain. Taylor sees it as a blessing that her aunt who has retired and wants to see the world gave Taylor her bookstore. She lives in NYC and was just fired from her dream job as a publisher and is so embarrassed. No one will know in the small town hidden in the Poconos. Loving the first impression and the man working the Christmas tree lot next door to the bookstore is a hunk. A grumpy one according to the town. As she gets to know Roan and his very shy daughter Meg who happens to be a book lover. They bond through their love of books and Roan can’t help falling for Taylor who is so wonderful to his daughter.
As one can always count on with Clara Pines, you will fall in love with the characters and the sweet romance that blossoms. Thank you CP for the ARC, all opinions expressed are truly my own.

Taylor: “… there’s nothing better than treasure-hunting your way through an endless pile of books,”, until you lose that job and inherit a bookshop in Angel Mountain. Then she meets Roan, the grump that runs the Christmas tree lot next to her. And just happens to be her landlord. And then mayhem and mischief begins. Add in his daughter, Margaret, AKA Meg, who loves books and you get more plot twists. Watch the magic of books allow people to connect in ways they normally never would. “They pull us out of ourselves, and they can even pull us towards each other.” Grandma's advice: “ … you want… someone who makes all the boring little moments feel like home.” Can that happen on Angel Mountain?

I loved this sweet story with its lovable characters and charming small town. Taylor moves to Angel Mountain to run her aunt's bookstore. Initially we don't know why she has left New York, but she is excited to work in the bookstore. Roan is the landlord, but he also owns the next door Christmas tree lot. He and his daughter Meg help Taylor transform the store into a viable business, getting to know each other in the process. Taylor grows to love the father and daughter very quickly, and they can't help but love her in return. I enjoyed the little surprises where Taylor was concerned, as the story progressed. The story is beautifully written and very engaging.
