I just DEVOURED this book and I'm not even going to pretend i didn't like it. Like bitch that was SO GOOD. Was it also wild and super taboo (grandpa x grandson)?? Absolutely.
This is not a casual recommendation, MIND WHAT YOU'RE ABOUT TO READ TWICE. Maybe three times idk. And if you're sensitive to taboo and in**est, this is NOT the right book for you.
I read this book looking for those hot taboo vibes but THE EMOTIONS Y'ALL!! I was not ready 😭 I was literally rooting for Lucian and Cassian idc. Call me fucked up but their chemistry and dynamics were crazy good. Their love is feral and they were both crazy about each other.
I have no other things to say. I just had a great time reading this.
4★ because I wanted this to be a full novel and not just a novella. 🥲

If you were to ask Cassian his grandfather Lucian is one of the best men around, just a wealthy businessman to society but someone who has always been there for Cassian. To say Cassian has looked up to his grandfather would be an understatement. The truth is Lucian is the city's most powerful man because he is the head of the Corvino Crime Family and no one makes a move without his say. He has ONE soft spot though just one his grandson Cassian, which an enemy now knows about. After Cassian is taken and Lucian is forced to come clean about who he really is to save him. Lucian is scared that this all might just have cost him his grandson but it actually makes the two of them face these extra feelings they have had but never wanted to voice.
This was an awesome ride and I absolutely loved this one by Becca! It's just under 100 pages so you get a bunch of plot right away and it's not super dark but it obviously is around the Mafia and people stealing so check the CWs before heading in 🖤

Well yes Cassian, it is certainly a thing!!!
This book was on fire!! I've loved every grandpa book of Becca's so when I saw this was the Friday release, I was so excited! This did not disappoint! So steamy!!
Grandpa - Lucian aka "Nonno" to his grandson - The Don, mafia boss who only loves his sweet grandson - and no one else. Oh and he is "straight"
Grandson -Cassian - a sweet young gay man who is studying to become a nurse and has no idea his Nonno is the head of the mafia.
“Perfect. You are perfect for me,” he rasps. “Your pleasure is my pleasure. You give me new life, my sweet boy. Having you in my hand is a dream. Now show me. Show your nonno how good you feel. Come for me, sweet boy. Come by your grandfather’s hand.”

Most of these books are such fun little reads and I enjoy them! Then every now and then there are ones that I just wish were full length novels because damn it I need more! This is one that I wish was more! it was so good! I loved the Mafia vibes and so much happened in such a short book! it was not overly spicy I think this one was more plot driven but damn did it work!!

Ok this little taboo treat was fantastic and delicious. I love me some grandson/grandpa stories. We have the Don of the mafia in this one with some great storyline. His grandson doesn't know he's in the mafia until he gets abducted. He will do anything and everything for his special boy. This was sexy..sweet..and hot 🥵🔥🥹
