She’s spent her life pretending to be something she’s not. And now, the truth could destroy her.
Eve was raised to fight, to blend in, to survive among the betas who despise and fear the alphas’ world. No one knows what she really is—an omega born in secret, her instincts buried under years of iron will and black-market suppressant pills. But when her supply runs dry, the mask begins to crack.
Her scent calls to them.
Jacob, Damon, and Colt—three alphas bound by blood, power, and need—have been searching for the omega fate promised them. When they find Eve, all her defenses shatter. She’s strong, defiant, everything an omega shouldn’t be. And they’ll do whatever it takes to claim her.
But Eve doesn’t break easily. Not for the harsh one who demands her obedience. Not for the calm one who sees too much. Not even for the kind one who offers her comfort.
She’s been running from her nature all her life… and now it’s running after her.
Bound by the Pack is a dark, emotional omegaverse romance featuring primal tension, possessive alphas, and one fiercely independent omega who refuses to yield without a fight.
I've done it. I've finally found that book that absolutely disgusts me.
Triggers ahead proceed with caution...
The trigger warnings did not prepare me for the FMCs pack to rape and brutalize her within the first few pages and then treat her like a dog for the next few chapters, demanding she be an obedient little bitch.
This is not an Omegaverse. It is a horror book that uses the trope to justify the disturbing behavior of the Alphas meant to protect and cherish her. They even say things like "your mouth says no but your body says otherwise." A statement that has been said over and over to to imply a woman who says no wants to be raped because she got wet.
I wanted to throw up when the previously independent bad ass omega says this about the pack leader, "I still don't like him. I'm not sure I ever will. But maybe—maybe—he's not entirely the monster I've painted him as in my head." The Alpha she is referring to had just raped her and caused her a lot of pain while telling her she is never to talk back to them again as she cries and apologizes.
Here's another quote "But Eve, you have to understand—those alphas out there, they're not like us. They're not gentle. They're not patient." They do nothing but abuse her and use rape as punishment but they are being gentle? Holy fuck. If you want a rage read, step right up.
The scene that made me officially peace out is when Eve finally loses it and slaps the pack leader which causes him to bleed. He then has the other two Alphas hold her down while he whips her over and over. Then he fucks her to show her how her body wants him even after the abuse.
One last parting quote from the worst rapist of the bunch. "We're not those kind of alphas, Eve." Jacob's voice is softer than I've ever heard it. "We won't hurt you the way they hurt her. We won't let anyone hurt you the way they hurt her." Nah. You'll just keep using rape as punishment, whip her when she disobeys you and demand she be a submissive little domesticated breeder. Fuck this whole book.
This one is better than the first. I think the book is too long and starting feeling repetitive. I'll stick with rereading Torment Omega that is the best book by this Author so far.
I like some dark and twisted, yet I just couldn’t give this 5 stars. Told from only the FMC’s POV, it was too repetitive for me. I understand that it was taking place in another type of world but there was some missing pieces that I would have liked more information on. Maybe why the beta’s kept the omega’s hidden yet participated in runs for the alpha’s? Definitely check your triggers before reading this.
Major trigger warnings that’s for sure. Almost dropped it at the beginning scene and definitely skip over the non-con. I liked and hated the book in equal measures not going to lie. I dislike the whole world where omegas are just kidnapped out of the streets and then expected to love their new prison. I did appreciate that the main female character doesn’t just role over when she was faced with an injustice. But it also felt like she didn’t actually win any battles between her and the alphas? I mean I love the fact that in the end the pack does change ( especially Jacob) and treat her like a trusted value/ partner and not just a kept prisoner. I don’t know, lots of feelings about this one
One of the best book I read in awhile. I first read the tormented omega and couldn’t put it down. I decided to follow the writer and bought this one. I finish it and I want more. It starts dark. Really dark and you hate the alphas but slowly learn to accept that hem. I really wish we could get epilogue and see what happens next
