"Expiration Date" is a supernatural thriller that follows Dr. Mavis Maldonado, a head librarian at a community college in Sheridan, Wyoming, whose life is irrevocably altered when she discovers she has a terrifying she hears the voices of people announcing the precise date of their own impending deaths.
Joe Drivdahl is a retired college instructor, novelist, and musician. He is the author of four Murder in the West Bottoms, Frank and Charlie, Sunset in Montana, and Expiration Date. Joe holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education majoring in English Literature. Joe taught at the high school level for a few years but spent most of his tenure at a community college in eastern Montana. Joe is married with four adult children.
"Expiration Date" has that kind of pacing where every chapter ends with a little jolt that keeps you turning pages. Joe makes the characters so vivid I was walking in their shoes-and he throws in twists that actually land—it’s definitely a page turner. I look forward to more Mal's pals novels.
