After reading this, I am definitely going to go back and read the first three in the series!

This was a fast, fun, and SPICY read. It definitely centered more around Sasha and Lucy's relationship but it didn't drag which was great. There was still action and plot and the whole big crazy Sinclair family.

I really enjoyed reading this and feel that Blanches book is also going to be a good one!

What a wild ride this was. This was different from the first 3 books in the Sinclair Affairs Series.
Equally great though

I just gotta say it, Blanche lol What a woman you are lol sheesh. She is so unhinged in a nonchalant way lol my oh my what a woman. Hilarious.

Sasha, a dark, grumpy, Bratva assassin set to take over his fathers' empire. I love how secure he is in his sexuality and who he is as a man. He was super hott. But internally he was sensitive and insecure and so afraid of being hurt or used.

Lucy, his absolute opposite, light, bright sunshine in his dark and depraved world.

I adore the found family of this series, the author really weaves family into her books. Once the Sinclair’s claim you as theirs, they will do anything for you.

The dynamic for Lucy and Sasha's relationship is wild and unhinged, we have Blanche to blame for that haaa lol

Lucy and Sasha were wildly hot together. He is just wildly hott lol.

It’s a great book, I enjoyed all the shenanigans that come with these characters.
It's always a fun time.

TK Drake is able to weave such humor, and lightheartedness into such unhinged depraved kinky behavior. It never really feels dark, her books are fun to read, and super hot and sweet.

I can’t wait for Blanches book, like OMG lol
So thankful for this arc

Sasha the MMC he was?! OMG he was such a grump and so entertaining! He was definitely sweet and cute for her but then he was a total JERK and an A**HOLE but I loved it !!
I enjoyed their chemistry! They both had their own issues to work out and it was just beautiful!🥹🥰 He braids her hair and tattoos her!!!🥹🥰

The SPICE?!?!😳🔥🔥 OMG!! Idk if it’s the spiciest one but it just might be!🔥🔥

I’m so glad all the other couples and all the Sinclairs were part of this book too🥹🥹 but I have to hand it out to BLANCHE! I LOVE HER !!

I definitely recommend this book. The series. Read it and add it to your endless TBR!
You will not be disappointed!

First off 🥵🥵🔥🔥 that's was a spicy book!!!

Lucy and Sasha are something else!
Strangers, to co workers, to lovers, to hate, to unconditional love.

Sasha is 100% serious about not wanting anyone to touch Lucy.

I absolutely loved how unhinged Sasha was throughout. Man needs to learn to listen, though 😆

I love the Sinclair family so much. Each couple is their own brand of crazy and Blanche is the queen of kink!!!

just don’t think it was fully what I was expecting, a bit too much humor/shenanigans than what I was going for. only made it about four chapters in though but I’m also in a reading slump so didn’t want to try and push through. says it’s fine to read as standalone but I’m thinking those who’ve read other books in the series will be more into this one.

🔥 I just… wow. I’m honestly still reeling after finishing Shadowed In Sunshine by T.K. Drake! This is the fourth book in The Sinclair Affairs series, and let me tell you—it completely blew my expectations out of the water. If you thought the first three books were intense, buckle up—this one dives deep into darkness, danger, passion, and yes… steamy, fiery heat that had me blushing non-stop.

We first glimpsed Sasha in book three, but this book peels back layer after layer of him. He’s set to inherit the Bratva from his father, a man used to living in the shadows, and yet here he is, trapped between duty and desire, all while being undeniably lethal. He’s brooding, commanding, and oh-so-hot—utterly confident in what he wants, yet secretly wrestling with whether he deserves happiness or love. Enter Lucy. She’s the complete opposite: radiant, warm, chaotic in the most endearing way, and the kind of person who shines light into every corner she touches. And the best part? She’s curvy, confident, and the perfect match for Sasha’s intensity. Finally, a hero who worships every inch of the heroine he loves!

Lucy’s journey begins with the mystery of a sudden, unknown inheritance, taking her across the country—and straight into Sasha’s dangerous orbit. Their forced proximity sparks an instant, soul-deep connection. Add to that the fact that they’re filming a movie together based on the lives of Blanche and Henry, and the chemistry? Explosive. Every interaction, every glance, every touch builds tension until the heat becomes practically unbearable.

T.K. Drake continues to amaze with how they intertwine the larger family from the previous books. I adore the way the relationships carry forward, connecting each story while letting each stand on its own. This one, in particular, balances darkness with tenderness, danger with humor, and obsession with a genuine, emotional bond that feels utterly real.

This book starts off feeling like a spicy rom-com with a fast-burning romance, but it’s executed perfectly. Unlike many fast-burn romances that feel rushed or unrealistic, the tension between Sasha and Lucy is palpable, natural, and utterly addictive. Their chemistry escalates beautifully, leading to a conclusion that is as thrilling as it is satisfying—complete with drones, heart-pounding chases, and yes… chaos of the best kind.

Sasha, the enigmatic adult entertainer with a shadowed past, meets Lucy, a lovable, scatterbrained soul determined to find her remaining family after losing her mother. On paper, they’re worlds apart, yet the time they spend together on set fuels a slow-building, electrifying bond that finally erupts into an unforgettable romance. When betrayal threatens to shatter their fragile trust, the question becomes: can Lucy’s light penetrate Sasha’s darkness? Or will the danger and intensity of his world tear them apart?

This book is absolute perfection for fans of dark romance. It’s sensual, suspenseful, and hilarious, with kinks, primal tension, and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. While it can be read on its own, the story resonates even more when the series is read in order, as the interconnected characters and histories bring extra depth and enjoyment.

Honestly, I’ll be rereading this one, picking up every little nugget of humor, heat, and heart that I may have missed. If you’re craving a story that’s equal parts passionate, dangerous, and utterly addictive, Shadowed In Sunshine is a must-read. T.K. Drake continues to prove they are masters at crafting dark, thrilling romances that linger long after the last page.

Wowwwwww… Wowwwww… I was blown away by this book! Shadowed In Sunshine by T.K. Drake is book 4 in The Sinclair Affairs series and omg… This was so much more than I was expecting. Totally different than the first three and I LOVED IT! It was dark, Bratva, violence, passion and spice that honestly had me blushing so much. It was chemistry, connection, it was obsession, it was possession, it was found family. It really was EVERYTHING!

We met Sasha in the third book but little did we know the layers to this man. Set to one day take over the Bratva for his father, he’s in a place of limbo. What to do with his life in the right now. He’s the assassin. He's dark and grumpy and dangerous. And this man is HOT, so secure in who and what he wants in every way! But he internally struggles so much with feeling deserving of any light or love. Lucy is everything he is not. She is light, bright, she is sunshine, goodness and everything positive. And can I just say I love when an author writes a confident, sassy CURVY FMC and a man that is all about it?! In trying to figure out who left her a huge unknown trust of money, she ends up on the east coast and is pulled into the craziest life. And in the forced proximity to Sasha, a beautiful and soul deep friendship grows, the chemistry and connection, it is unreal. And it’s truly seen as these two act in a movie together about the life of Blanche and Henry. And again, omg, the heat, the fire, the scenes, BLUSHING it was so hot.

I LOVE how TK always weaves our family from the previous books, love the connections between them all so much!

Anyone who knows me knows when I found TK Drake, I was hooked! They have a way of weaving such amazing stories so perfectly each so unique to its own. This one, wowwwww. I don't fully have the words to describe how much I loved the dark romance, the passion, the raw vulnerability and the soul deep connection of Sasha and Lucy. You must read this book and this series!! And we have one more book to come! I am here for anything these girls write!

I truly loved this book!

This book had it all, it definitely started out a little bit like a super spicy romcom with a somewhat fast burn romance building between the MCs fairly quickly. I don’t always love fast burn romances as they often feel a little unrealistic making it hard to truly enjoy the book, however that it definitely not the case here. The sexual chemistry between the MCs was written in such a natural way that you were on the edge of your seat waiting for the inevitable conclusion throughout and I’ve got to tell you that conclusion was worth the wait, lets just say it involved drones and a somewhat exhilarating and very messy chase.

Sasha an adult entertainer feeling unsettled and shrouded in darkness meets Lucy a seemingly scatterbrained, clumsy ray of sunshine who (after losing her mother and being alone in the world) will do just about anything to find her family. On paper they couldn’t be more different, but as they spend more and more time together filming their chemistry builds and builds before exploding in a pretty spectacular way.

When a perceived betrayal forces Sasha’s darkness to the surface, will Sashas Sunshine (Lucy) survive the fallout, will her light help break through the seemingly impenetrable darkness that surrounds Sasha’s world as the Taranov heir? Will she break and leave Sasha behind? Or is she his perfect match, allowing them to come together in an explosive, violent and highly comical way?

Honestly? This is a book that i will undoubtedly read again finding even more tidbits of hilarity and sexuality than I have found so far. If you’re looking for a spicy, dark romance with plenty of humour, kinks galore and just a hint of primal play then you should absolutely check this out.

Although this can technically be read as a standalone, and its not necessary to read the previous books in order to understand the story, as with all interconnected standalone it’s even better if you read them in order.

The book blurb painted a picture in my mind of a brooding man crossing paths with a bright, sunny girl through innocent, everyday moments: chance meetings in restaurants, brief interactions on the street, quiet exchanges that felt simple and sweet. And while the blurb is accurate, there is an entire, unexpected understory that is not hinted at at all. That deeper layer is what truly made this book a wow for me.

Lucy travels across the country hoping to uncover the identity of the person who left her a mysterious trust. Her search leads her to the Sinclairs, the family she believes is connected to it. There, she meets the family matriarch, Blanche, and accepts a job without fully understanding what she is agreeing to: Lucy is cast to play Blanche herself in a movie Blanche is directing about her own life.

This is how Lucy meets Sasha, the man cast to play Blanche’s husband. Sasha immediately sees Lucy as pure sunshine, but his past and life experiences keep him guarded and emotionally distant. From the very beginning, their connection feels inevitable. Forced to live together to build chemistry for the film, Lucy and Sasha are pushed into close proximity that slowly chips away at his defenses. While Sasha tries to fight it, every shared scene and every moment spent building comfort and trust pulls them closer together.

The film Blanche is directing is something else entirely, featuring some of the spiciest scenes in the book. I loved the little ways Blanche meddles to draw Lucy and Sasha closer, and the quiet, adorable things Sasha does even as he insists on staying brooding and distant. And that third act? Absolutely something else. I received this book as an ARC and this reflects my honest opinion.

Trying the only way I know to tell her exactly how I feel. That I need her more than air.

Irresistible!

"Shadowed in Sunshine," the fourth book in the Sinclair Affairs series, and wow, it was everything I hoped for! Since meeting Sasha in the last book, I’ve been so excited for his story, and T.K. Drake totally delivered. It was simply delicious and utterly irresistible!

Sasha is set to take over from his father as the head of the Bratva, but for now, he’s the head assassin. He’s dark, intense, and a bit unhinged, which makes him so intriguing! Then there’s Lucy, who is his complete opposite. After her mother’s passing, she discovers she’s inherited a large trust from a father she never knew. This leads her on a quest to connect with her family, and along the way, she meets Blanche, who casts her in a secret project.

As Sasha and Lucy work together, the tension builds, and their chemistry is electric—it’s a total spark that eventually explodes into something really satisfying! I was glued to the pages and couldn’t help but cheer for their story. I loved both Sasha and Lucy so much—one moment, Sasha had me swooning, and the next, I just wanted to shake him! And Lucy? She’s such a sweetheart, just trying to find her place in the world.

T.K. Drake does an amazing job creating characters that are truly fascinating and complex, with just the right touch of darkness. The family dynamics are filled with protection and a bit of chaos, and I’m here for it all! I can’t wait for the next book in the series, which will be about Blanche—the queen herself, who is a total badass! Bring it on!

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

**Thank you to The Author Agency and TK Drake for an advance copy, in exchange for an honest review**

Having read the first three books in the Sinclair Affairs series, coming back to these characters feels like climbing back into bed with a warm blanket and a cup of tea.
We have unexpected but appreciated bi rep (Sasha/MMC) and I like that for once we have MMC in his early 20s. Side note: I feel like Sasha’s she justifies his reactions and overreactions to certain plot points. He also has significant bratva connections, but it’s not a central component of the story.
This is a fast burn; Lucy and Sasha go from strangers to coworkers (with chemistry) to lovers to enemies to lovers
He does some unhinged stuff that merits intense groveling, and we get it (on his knees, too…but not like that, you pervert— not in that scene, anyway).
It’s very spicy with delicious chemistry between them, dirty dialogue that gives you that swoops feeling in your stomach, and lots of adventurous activities: think primal, group scenes, hand necklaces, body alterations, etc. We even have a brief breeding kink moment in his internal narrative. I wasn’t expecting the group scenes and it was out of my comfort zone at first, but I enjoyed them for the most part.
I’m not sure I’d call this a full-on dark romance, but it will definitely be out of your comfort zone if you’re used to cozy, feel-good romances. Check TWs either way if you’re going to read it. :)
We have some very memorable characters (*cough cough* Blanche *cough cough*) and let’s just say I was over the moon when I discovered what couple the fifth and final book will be about…and it’s coming very soon!

Overall: 4.5 ⭐️
Character chemistry: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Darkness: 💀💀
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (spice rivals plot)

UNAPOLOGETICALLY OBSESSED

Shadowed in Sunshine by T.K. Drake absolutely wrecked me in the best way. This book is DARK, tender, dangerous, and painfully romantic all at once—and I devoured every single page.

Lucy Sommers is the kind of FMC I instantly fell in love with. She’s resilient without being hardened, curious without being reckless, and she walks straight into chaos with her chin up and her heart wide open. The mystery of the anonymous trust pulled me in immediately, but Lucy herself made me stay. She’s light, but not naive. Sunshine, but not weak.

And Sasha Taranov… my god. This man. Broody, violent, self-aware of his own darkness, and convinced he’s beyond redemption. He KNOWS he’s dangerous and still can’t stop himself from orbiting Lucy like she’s his last breath. The way he calls her his Sunshine? I melted. The way he tries (and fails) to keep her safe by pushing her away? Destroyed me.

Their connection is intense and inevitable. It’s that slow-burning, soul-deep pull where you just know these two were always meant to collide. Lucy doesn’t try to change Sasha—she simply exists as she is, and that quiet light chips away at his walls piece by piece. Watching him realize there’s nothing he wouldn’t do to protect her? UGH. Perfection.

This story balances darkness and softness so well. The danger feels real. The emotions hit hard. And the romance? Consuming. It’s possessive, protective, and raw without losing its heart.

If you love:
🖤 morally grey men
☀️ sunshine vs darkness
🖤 intense, emotional romance
☀️ “touch her and die” energy

Tahle kniha mě zaujala především svým tématem a anotací.

V výsledku bych Shadowed in sunshine proto doporučila. Jedná se o poněkud nenáročný, ale i tak tajemnější příběh. A zároveň jde také už o čtvrtý díl série Sinclairs affairs, která se dá číst také jako standalone, protože každý díl je o někom jiném.

🇬🇧: I really enjoyed reading this book. Especially the chemistry between characters was insane and the whole plot was simply very good.

ARC Review
Shadowed by Sunshine was sooo good—the kind of dark, chaotic, addictive romance that grabs you from page one and refuses to let go. Even though it’s the fourth book in the series, it works perfectly as a standalone. I went in without reading the earlier books and had zero trouble diving straight into the story.

The heart of the book is the absolutely wild, unhinged dynamic between Lucy and Sasha—and honestly, we can thank Blanche for stirring that pot. Sasha is everything you want in a Bratva antihero: dark, grumpy, lethal, and poised to inherit his father’s empire. But beneath all that danger is a man who’s deeply insecure, sensitive, and terrified of being betrayed. That vulnerability made him impossible not to root for.

Lucy, on the other hand, is pure sunshine—bright, warm, and full of life. She’s the light in Sasha’s twisted world, and their contrast makes their connection electric. Their chemistry is explosive, and the spice hits hard right from the first chapter. This book does not hold back, so checking trigger warnings is definitely a must.

And Blanche… her influence is everywhere, and knowing her book is next has me counting down the days. If it’s anything like the chaos she caused here, it’s going to be unforgettable.

If you love dark romance with intensity, heat, emotional depth, and characters who feel like they’re burning up the page, Shadowed by Sunshine is absolutely worth the read.

**Shadowed in Sunshine by T.K. Drake**

*Shadowed in Sunshine* is the **fourth book in the Sinclair Affairs series**, and while it *can* be read as a standalone, you’ll get more context and emotional grounding if you’re familiar with the earlier books. This installment follows **Lucy Sommers** and **Sasha Taranov**, bringing us back into T.K. Drake’s dark, dangerous world of secrets, power, and complicated love.

Going into this, I honestly *wanted* to love it. The setup had so much promise—mystery, mafia undertones, a sunshine FMC walking straight into a shadowed MMC’s life. But for me, the execution didn’t fully land.

Lucy is written as resilient and hopeful, and I did appreciate her strength and independence. Sasha, on the other hand, is broody, guarded, and emotionally closed off—but at times he felt a little *too* distant for me to truly connect with. Their chemistry had moments where it flickered, but it never fully caught fire the way I expected. I found myself waiting for that emotional punch… and it just stayed a little muted.

The pacing also felt uneven. Some scenes dragged when I wanted more tension, while others that deserved deeper emotional exploration passed too quickly. That said, the writing itself is solid, and fans of the series will likely appreciate how this book fits into the larger Sinclair Affairs universe.

Not bad, but not unforgettable either. It’s a decent read, just one that didn’t hit me as deeply as I hoped it would.

Sasha, heir to the Bratva, is brooding, commanding, and conflicted between duty and desire. Lucy, radiant and chaotic, enters his dangerous world, sparking a soul-deep connection.

As we started turning the pages, Lucy's first encounter with Sasha was downright hilarious. We found ourselves laughing throughout the entire story. This was far from your typical love story, and we can honestly say we have never read a mafia romance quite like this. It was thrilling and sexy, with sex scenes off the charts hot; they will have you fanning yourself or blushing like a schoolgirl.

Lucy is a character you will immediately come to love, and then you have Blanche, whom you struggle to figure out. One thing you do have figured out is that she is very sneaky in her matchmaking ways, as she does it so flawlessly.

Sasha, the broody brava boss, is sinfully sexy, possesive and downright dangerous, but we loved seeing the playful and relaxing side of him, his sexy grin and sinful smile, and his dirty-talking ways set the ladies' panties on fire.

Their chemistry is explosive, leading to a thrilling and satisfying conclusion. The interconnected characters and histories in the series add depth and enjoyment.

Shadowed In Sunshine is a perfect blend of dark romance, sensuality, suspense, and humor. It's a must-read for fans of intense and addictive romances.

This was an absolutely bonkers book!

Seriously, I read the previous book, but none of the others, and while it's clear that the side characters interacting the most in this one are the couples from the first two books, I'm not sure how much is actually needed to enjoy this wild adventure. But I guess, if you're considering reading the series in order, I'm pretty sure that's a beneficial decision. Regardless, I enjoyed this weird story better than the last, especially with the varying degrees of kinks explored.

Anyway, back to this truly unexpected plot: Lucy discovers a large sum of money is left to her and the only info she has brings her to the Sinclair family, whom she suspects is related to her absentee sperm donor. Sasha is the Bratva heir - but like the previous book, the Mafia aspects of the story are minimal. Somehow (stay with me here) they're looped into... invited... er, offered the job to... portray the Sinclair Matriarch and her late husband in an x-rated film depicting their love story....

Kinkiness ensues!

Idk, gurrl. If you're still reading this review, you might as well jump into this book.

Thank you for gifting me an advanced reader copy. Review reflective of my personal opinions

Okay, this book was wild. Like, drop everything and read it kind of wild. It’s so different from the rest of the series and I was completely obsessed.

Lucy and Sasha meet while filming this insanely spicy movie for the Sinclair family matriarch, Blanche, and from the start the vibes are unreal. They’re meant to be acting, but the line between fake and real blurs almost immediately and it just gets hotter and messier from there. Sasha is a Bratva heir taking a break while working at the Sinclair club, Rendezvous, and wants zero emotional attachment. Lucy is grieving her mum, suddenly rich, and trying to figure out who her father is. Put them together and it’s chaos in the best way.

Their chemistry is next level. Like, you can feel it. And don’t even get me started on the spice because it is bold, intense and totally unapologetic. The primal scene alone is enough reason to read this. It will live in my head rent free forever.

Blanche is iconic as always and knows exactly what’s going on. I loved seeing the previous couples and how quickly they wrap Lucy into their found family. It made everything feel warmer and more emotional amongst all the heat.

Honestly, if you want something fast, spicy, a little unhinged and completely addictive, you need to read this one.

Shadowed in Sunshine is the fourth installment in the Sinclair Affairs series, and it’s nothing short of scorching. The story follows Sasha and Lucy—two complete opposites whose dynamic lights up the page. Sasha is a brooding, grumpy Bratva assassin destined to inherit his father’s empire, while Lucy shines as his radiant counterbalance, bringing warmth and light into his dark, depraved world.

This dark romance takes readers on a thrilling journey from strangers to coworkers to lovers, weaving tension and chemistry that only intensify as the plot unfolds. Watching Sasha and Lucy fall for each other is both addictive and deeply satisfying.

The novel delivers a masterful blend of darkness, suspense, tenderness, humor, danger, and obsession. Every page kept me hooked. The spice is unapologetically wild, exploring unhinged kinks that push boundaries, while the found-family element adds heart and depth to the narrative.

Overall, Shadowed in Sunshine is a fantastic read and a worthy addition to the series. It’s a must for fans of dark romance—intense, captivating, and impossible to put down.

Book 4 in the Sinclair Affairs series: Sasha and Lucy. This is a forced proximity, curvy FMC, grumpy x sunshine, stranger to lovers, fast burn, roommates, one bed trope, bratva heir, OTT MMC, morally grey-to-black MMC, bi-rep, awakening for FMC, hidden identity, found family, revenge, bully romance.
Another amazing book by T. K. Drake! This book was a wild ride. And I don’t mean that lightly. So much happens, the ups and downs, the relationship between Sasha and Lucy, the mystery of where Lucy comes from, and let’s not forget Blanche. Blanche has always been my favorite character in this series but she took a more main role in this book and I loved her even more. Off all the unhinged characters in this series she probably takes the lead.
This series as a whole has me in such a chokehold and I can never get enough. I devoured this book. Such a great read. It is definitely the spiciest book in the series, probably one of the spiciest books I’ve ever read. If that doesn’t scare you then I 100% recommend this book! I cannot wait for the final book in the series to come out!

Okay I’m actually obsessed with this book! Sasha is the perfect man - possessive, obsessed with his woman, and filthy. The trust and connection between him and Lucy was so good. The mix between two different worlds in this book fit perfectly together. The suspense, intensity, and emotions packed in this book was phenomenal.

Sasha had me weak in the knees from the beginning. He doesn’t take no for an answer, pulls you in deep in a consuming way, and protects those he loves deeply. He falls hard for Lucy without even realizing it. Watching this strong and brutal man unravel at the seams for a woman captured my heart.

Lucy is a fierce, strong woman who takes on Sasha’s lifestyle like it’s easy. Her bravery and strength was so admirable. Often times, she put herself on the line to figure out her family history. She doesn’t blink an eye at the life Sasha partakes in and rather trusts in him explicitly. These two grew so close together as they experienced a whirlwind of emotions and betrayal.

Shadowed in Sunshine by T.K. DRAKE was honestly, not what I thought it was. Haha. This book had so much spice in it. It starts of steamy, and continues to get spicier from there.

I can't truly say what I thought this was going to be about when I started reading it, but what was between these pages was not it. It was wild and intense, and whirlwind of spice.

But it has plot! It has story, and the spice is all a part of it. It was a good book, great book actually, just wasn't ready for the menagerie of smutty scenes between the pages. Haha.

This book is part of a series, however this one can be read as a standalone. Which I believe is the only reason I even bothered picking it to read, because it's crazy to jump into the middle of a series blind, but this book you can definitely get away with it.

There is a lot to it. So, please check out the content and trigger warnings.

Thank you T.K. DRAKE and The Author Agency for letting me get a chance to read this book and discover Sasha and Lucy's story. It is quite a unique and fiery story.

Unbelievable! Yay!

This is the fourth book in the Sinclair Affairs series and omg I love this so much! T.K. Drake definitely delivered. It was simply amazing and I love love the couple so much!

Sasha is this broody and grumpy guy who was set to take over his father as the head of the Bratva. He's very intense and unhinged which is my cup of tea! LOL! Lucy, well is completely opposite! She's all sunshine-y, always happy and cute! This is what hooked me to this book. I love Grumpy x Sunshine trope! This couple met when Blanche cast them in a secret project.

I love this book because you can see how their relationship developed to something more! I love how Sasha is towards Lucy and how Lucy is with Sasha! Such an amazing book! Can't get enough of them both.

I was definitely blown away with this book.
Totally different from what I expected but I devoured it.

In the third book we met Sasha but didn’t know a lot about him.
He’s set to take over the Bratva for his father but he’s in a place of limbo, and has no idea what to do with his life right now. He’s the assassin. he’s your typical dark, grumpy and dangerous MMC. But he struggles with so much feeling deserving of any light or love until Lucy comes in.
Lucy is everything he’s not. She’s light, bright, she is sunshine and also a curvy sassy FMC.
She’s trying to figure out who left her a huge amount of money and ends up in the east coast and pulled into a crazy life.

Between these two the passion, chemistry was off the charts and had me giggling. I loved the obsession and possessiveness of Sasha it was everything!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Lucy and Sasha. This is a fast read and it is really spicy. So, if you're looking for a spicy quickie, then you have found the right book. Lucy and Sasha are total opposites. She is light and sunshine and know that she should stay away from Sasha, but as hard as she tires she just can't. Sasha also doesn't want her too. She is the light in his dark mafia world. He is also Bratva assassin and is set to take over his father's empire. The guy certainly knows who he is and isn't afraid to let it shine. He also has a really sensitive side and has an insecurity that he is going to get hurt or used by people. Together these two are wild and free and slightly unhinged and I loved every second of their story. This is a story that you are absolutely going to love reading.

This is the fourth book in this amazing series, and this is Lucy and Sasha’s story,
Lucy has always made the most of whatever life throws at her, but when she receives an unexpected, anonymous trust, she is determined to track down the source. Sasha is broody, and dangerous bratva boss, and when he meets Lucy, who is a ray of sunshine, and she breaks through the walls around his heart.
This is a well written easy to read, fast paced story, with found family, friendships, emotions, tension, suspense, intrigue, determination, strangers / lovers, grumpy / sunshine, opposites attract, forced proximity, trust, explosive chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, and unpredictable, dark and thrilling romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This book was amazing. Sasha and Lucy were perfect for each other. His grumpy attitude and her sunny personality fit together like a puzzle. The spice was insane! It also had the perfect amount of dark spice. I was laughing then holding my breath all in the same chapter. I was rooting for them from the start. The way they both came into this new family dynamic was just beautiful to watch. His rugged side trying to push her away the entire time and her sweet, sunny disposition just going after this man. I was clenching my phone at the end of this book, just waiting for the happy ending that I know they both deserve. This was one of my favorite dark romances. I can't explain how on the edge of my seat I was throughout this entire process. And this is a book that I would highly, highly, highly recommend if you like dark romance because it was chef's kiss good..

Tropes: Strangers to Lovers , Fast Burn , Grumpy x Sunshine , Curvy FMC, Obsessed/Unhinged MMC , Bully Romance, Forced Proximity , Found Family , Role Play.

I was not prepared for Sasha’s story ! From chapter one the spice started 🤭. At first sasha was gentle and sweet with Lucy but then things happened and it was like a switch turned off and he became such an a**hole! Oohh but let me tell you that side of him made him 10x better 🥵. I love how easily Lucy and Sasha were able to fall in a rhythm and find comfort in each other. 🥹 I love how we get to see characters from previous stories and they get funnier every single time 🤣.

Also I must say BLANCHE!!!!! I can not wait for her story !! That ending had me shocked 😳!

Shadowed in Sunshine is book #4 in the Sinclair Affairs Series! I have loved all of the books in this series and they're getting better and better! This book was definitely darker than the first three😊

Lucy is our sunshine! She has such a positive attitude and I absolutely loved her. When she finds out that she inherited 5 million dollars she goes on a search to find out more about the dad she never met.

Sasha is our Bratva assassin! Hot, tattooed, and emotionally unavailable! I loved how in touch with his sexuality he was. He never plans on getting married because he doesn't want the person he loves in danger.

Lucy gets a job that she thought was for a nanny position 😳 But it's actually to act next to Sasha to reenact Blanches wedding a wedding night! I loved the chemistry between Sasha and Lucy and the chasing scene the first time they were together 🥵🥵🥵 !

I can't wait for book five in this series!

This one sucked me in hard. It really started out different than I expected but in a good way. And when it took a turn fast I was shocked. It was so good I couldn’t put it down.

I love Sasha and Lucy. Their chemistry, their opposite demeanors, their fast paced relationship that also seemed so real- they just fit together. Then the way he became obsessed and realized not only did he not want anyone else to have or be with her, he didn’t want to be with anyone else either.

And then, the mafia undertones of the whole book came out and it took a huge turn. Sasha truly was unhinged, wild and feral. Our sweet Lucy didn’t back down though. He did some pretty messed up things, but the grovel that came was worth it…. “I’ll never ask you for a third chance, but I’m begging you for a second one.”…. This one got me to for sure.

I cannot wait until the next one!!
