Siempre le doy 5 estrellas independientemente de lo que pase. También es verdad que como los tomos salen más tarde que cuando los leo me pierdo un poco y no sé por donde se queda, entonces no sé con exactitud de qué capítulos hay en el volumen ni sé si estoy haciendo spoilers accidentales. La cosa es que voy al día porque la Sumiko es perfecta y sube los capítulos a instagram. Como siempre el estilo de dibujo me apasiona son demasiado guays y me gusta que haya un salto en el tiempo par que sean adultas y la relación se haga compleja. Medio triste porque eso significa que habrá problemas... Pero eso está bien también!

Compré este volumen mientras estaba de vacaciones en Japón y definitivamente lo disfruté, aunque tuve que leerlo con Google Translate la verdad fue divertido, era como tratar de descifrar un código y al mismo tiempo estar jugando al teléfono descompuesto. Aunque ahora sospecho que Panini usa algo parecido para traducir 😅

Ahora lo malo, la autora intenta meter todo en capítulos de cuatro páginas y se siente la dificultad de elegir entre avanzar la historia y desarrollar a los personajes entre esos "pantallazos". Los saltos y altos constantes hacen que en algunas partes la trama se sienta sin rumbo. Kanna y Joe pasaron a segundo plano a pesar de ser un "espejo"/"reprise" de la relación entre Aya y Mitsuki. La crisis de Aya se resolvió en un par de páginas y ahora parece que Mitsuki está haciendo replay de su última crisis de identidad

Habiendo dicho todo eso, el arte es genial como siempre. Me declaro culpable de comprar comics o mangas solo porque me gusta el estilo y hay algunos cuadros que me encantaron, definitivamente vale la pena conseguirlo si te gustan la vibes.

Now the Freedom review:

I bought this volume while I was vacationing in japan and definitedly enjoy it even if I had to read it through Google Translate, which was kinda fun to be honest, like playing a some kind of puzzle between a cipher and telephone.

Not quite my tempo.

Because the author tries to squeeze everything in 4-page chapters it feels like they're being pulled between driving the story forward and developing their characters and relationships. The constant jumping around makes the story feel aimless. Kanna and Joe got pushed to the backburner, Aya's crisis got resolved in a few pages and now it looks like Mitsuki is doing a reprise of her last crisis too.

Having said all that, the art is beautiful as ever, I'm guilty of buying graphic media just because I like the style and there are some panels that I fell in love with, definitively worth getting it if you like the vibes.

Whole series is super sweet, super earnest, and just gorgeous. (The FASHION!!! I want to raid every character's wardrobe.) Once you get into the flow of the 4-pages-a-chapter format (thx to its Twitter origins), it strikes this nice balance between 4koma-style episodes and a broader overarching story. I like that that format lets us speed ahead in time, too--what a treat it is to have the friend group now transition into their university life, being all cute and domestic and growing up together~ All in all I just hope Arai is enjoying creating this because it really seems like she is, every panel has such detail and care put into it.

I really loved this one 🥹 I loved Mitsuaya prom, becoming official, graduating, and moving in together !!! I did wish we got to see them actually moving in together because I enjoyed that in “She Loves to Cook and She Loves to Eat”. I also wish we got to see when Joe left for the US. Overall though, I was so excited when Mitsuaya shared their first kiss and now they’re girlfriends !! I hope they continue to love and support each other 💚

well well well! green yuri it's been a while. re-read the first few volumes (thanks to a special someone making me want to re-experience this) and read vol4 for the first time today as the last i read was vol3 last yr. i love mitsuaya happy and together and dating and kissing yaay! not a major fan of this supposed time-skip tho soi'm going to pretend like it never happened.. the plot is a bit hard 2 understand but eh. hyped regardless for the future!

ARTE ARTE ARTE. Tuvieron AL FIN su primer beso y el time skip de la universidad.
Estaba todo tan bien y no me pueden dejar con ese final, se sintió todo tan agridulce la manera en la que Mitsuki dejó la música cuando fue lo que las UNIÓ en principio. Necesito continuación de estas lesbianas que son mi única luz en este pozo depresivo :(
