This issue of Commando tells the story of Ram and Lal, a pair of Indian soldiers fighting for the British in Ypres during the First World War, and I've got to tell you, it's really nice seeing a story where the heroes aren't all white. As it says on the back of this book, 1.3 million Indian soldiers fought alongside the British Army, so getting to read a story about those soldiers is always a treat. And it's a damned fine story too.
