Follows the amusing misadventures of a little girl as she shops for the perfect birthday gift for her mother, blackens a blackboard, and cares for a lost cat
This is the first book that my 6 year old has really engaged with. Usually when I read to her, she’s distracted or trying to talk about something else. With Josie Smith, she’s gasping out loud or asking questions about the story, which is great.
I’m happy that she loves it because my Mom used to read it to me when I was her age.
Such an adorable little book with cute illustrations throughout and innocently childish dialogue, thoughts and actions that made me smile several times
As a child I was really lonely, I didn't have many friends, I was happy with having just one friend, she too was like Eileen, she had everything and was quite spoiled, she didn't always want to spend time with me so I was very lucky when one day my brought home this book. Josie Smith is a lovely story about friendship and adventures, I always really loved them as a child and now I'm getting them out for my own step children.
