Single dad sheriff.
Single mum on the move.
She’s new to town. She has secrets. She has a secret identity with a secret identity…
“Make me feel safe.”
So many twists and turns. I picked the identity thing fairly early, but I did enjoy finding all the ways that the author twisted everything up to connect so many different people.
“This isn’t a situationship; it’s a relationship. A real one. How can it be anything else when you’re all I think about? I don’t want to let you go. If you need a safe harbor, I’ll be it. I’ll be your anchor, your flaming sword, your faithful servant, whatever medieval metaphor you want. Just please. Please don’t tell me it’s over.”
It was a romance with a murder mystery, a little bit of betrayal and a very strong found damily vibe.

Review of advance copy
Keep Me Close brings romance, suspense, and found family to this amazing story. Rory and Adalind are both single parents and neither are looking for a relationship. So when Adalind break down in town, Sheriff Rory finds the newcomer irresistible. But Adalind is on the run from something and is keeping a secret.
Natalie did an amazing job weaving the suspense into this story, with the secret identity and the twists/turns. Rory is such a swoony MMC, he may not have wanted a relationship but when Adalind came to town, he was a goner. That protective side came out and he went to work breaking down those walls.
