This book is written by an Eight-Year-Old Indian Author. The book is an interesting read about the way Simran,an 8 year old interprets the happenings around her. The incidents in the story will tickle your funny bone and make you admit that you would have had these thoughts when you were of Simran's age.
Do you really remember what did you use to do when you were Eight year old? I didn't. Ishita reminded me.
Ishita reminded me how important certain things seemed. Ishita reminded me how my life had then grown into stuffs that are called 'mature' but aren't exactly as fun. And that is precisely what this is book is for me. It changes the meaning of fun for me.
The story was cute, the narrative was pretty. I really enjoyed reading this book.
Too be honest, I'm sorry to say but this is most probably the worst book I have ever read. I noticed a few grammar mistakes too. This was basically a journal written by an 8 year old and her life. Really boring. NOT digging it.
This is the best short story I have ever read in my 21 years of experience. Ishita has a lot of potential and she is a great person. I came across Ishita, when I saw her talking to a philosopher Jason Silva, who runs an amazing channel on youtube, Shots of Awe, then I watched the TEDx talk by her and it really got me motivated to buy her book and read it as fast as possible. Really great book and i enjoyed it a lot.
