Resolve is the 5th book in the Raegan of Ruin Series by A.L. Rook. This is the thrilling conclusion to this series. And if you haven’t already started the series you will want to start with book 1 Ravage and read the series in order so you understand the events as they take place. This also allows you to get to know our characters and what they have been through before you arrive at Resolve, and read this heart-stopping series conclusion.

I have been waiting on tenterhooks for this book ever since I finished reading Remnants. And let me tell you, I’ve been an emotional wreck waiting for this book with the cliffhanger A.L. Rook left us with. But, that’s over now, I’ve finally got my answers and all that waiting and pacing is over and I’m finally satisfied. Or at least as satisfied as I can be.

A.L. really raised the stakes in this book and let me tell you they are massive, the tension in this book is massive and relentless and when you read it, you’re going to be like me in saying “just one more” until you realize that it’s dawn and you haven’t slept yet.

This is it, Raegan, her mates, and her friends are finally up against their final single enemy, they have just one goal (as impossible as it may be), and they now find themselves ready, standing at that final moment, the battle lines drawn, and they know this moment is going to demand everything of each one of them.

GE’s reach has felt terrifyingly vast, and each loss that they have been delt has hit them hard. But Raegan, her mates, and everyone standing with them know that they can no longer run and hide, they can no longer wait, all they can do now is push forward, keep their hope alive and burning bright, before it burns out and dies forever.

I have to say that Raegan’s growth through the whole series but especially in this book was phenomenal. Getting to watch her come into her full power, for some reason it not only emotionally destroyed me but it also physically destroyed me. I loved the way that no matter what happed, no matter what Raegan had to go through, she would choose her found family over and over again. And the way that they not only supported her but also protected and trusted her, that was what truly mattered that most in my opinion. A.L. Rook did found family perfectly in this book and in this series.

Then there’s the rest of the crew. We have all the anxiety-inducing battles, the world-ending stakes, and yet we still got the spicy moments that were so intense, emotional and you know they were deeply earned. A.L. Rook did the perfect job of balancing the action, spice, and the emotion perfectly. And that’s not something that is always easily done; it’s like walking a razor edged and, in this series, it was done to a tee.

And I can’t talk about Resolve without talking about that final epic battle. My God, A.L. Rook gave us cinematic gold. You can tell the moment Raegan realizes what it’s going to take – and then just does it – I almost compare it to a Thanos snap…but rather than the snap, it’s just a single devastating touch. And it just gives me these absolute chills.

And then we come to the place we all dread when we know a book is the conclusion of a series, the ending. It was so incredibly satisfying but at the same time it was bittersweet as I didn’t want the series to end. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Raegan, her mates or her friends. But, as I knew would happen, Raegan’s story came to a beautiful end with nothing being left unsaid.

And that’s it, the series is over and I have this deep need to cry for reasons I can’t explain. And while I am sad that the series has come to it’s natural conclusion, I’m not sorry that I got to read such a fantastic series, I feel proud that I got to be a part of it and I can tell you that I already miss Raegan, her mates, her friends and everyone else and I can’t wait to put this entire series on my trophy shelf.

Thank you so much to A.L. Rood and The Nerd Fam for letting me be a part of this amazing adventure. I can only hope and pray that there will be spin-off’s as I would love to be reunited with these characters again one day.

I highly recommend this series; it is phenomenal and such a great read. But it has to be read in order.

Wow! What a journey.

So happy to have been following along on the journey of this series, each book on each of its release dates, and now here for its final conclusion. Especially after that cliffhanger from book 4, Remnants.

The angst and tension of not knowing if Raegan and her guys - Jackson, Kellan, Aiden, and Dane - would be able to take down and defeat GE, well, it felt insurmountable, to be honest. GE's reach and influence felt vast and extensive, especially with Charles

Raegan and the guys reached a point where, in order to be together and be happy without the threat of GE, they had to fight until either a bitter or sweet ending. It was glorious to see Raegan's growth, not just as a character but in learning and being able to control her power. Equally, I loved, loved how each guy stood beside her, supported her and let her be the powerhouse we all knew she was destined to be. They never overshadowed her or tried to baby her and hold her back. The worked beside her, fought beside her, and ultimately won beside her.

I loved each of the guys. They were all uniquely different from one another, but Jackson was probably my favorite from start to finish. He was with her and willing to fight for her from the first moment they met again. He did not care one iota of what may or may not have happened in their past. He was confident in her and his belief in her. And he was steadfast in showing that to her despite her doubts and resistance. I wouldn't say the others weren't with her either, but there was a greater sense of misunderstanding/miscommunication with some of them. But despite that being a barrier for them to overcome, they were still drawn to each other. Plus, that barrier gave way to some delicous angst and tension between them. Also, further character growth for them as well.

Highly, highly recommend picking up this series. You will absolutely be hooked!

Thank you, A.L. Rook for your wonderful storytelling and for letting me join along for the ride. It always feels bittersweet when a series you have love has reached its end, but forever grateful to have these books to pick-up when I want to visit these characters again. Looking forward to what you have next in store for us!

I loved this book so much 😭❤️ I was incredibly grateful for the ARC opportunity, and honestly… I was SO glad I started this series when I did. I would’ve been an emotional wreck if I was stuck with cliffhangers. 💀💔 I’m so glad I can read the series now!!🔥⚔️

This was the final book in the Raegan of Ruin series, and even without having read the prequels yet, I felt fully locked into the story. The stakes were massive 😨, the tension was relentless, and every chapter had me saying “just one more” until suddenly it was 4 AM 🌙📖 (speaking from experience).

The plot centered around one enemy, one impossible goal, and a final stand that demanded everything. GE’s reach felt terrifyingly vast, and the losses hit hard 💔😢. There was no more running, no more waiting—just Raegan and her people pushing forward before hope burned out entirely 🔥✨

Raegan’s growth in this book absolutely wrecked me 🥹❤️ Watching her come into her power, emotionally and physically, while choosing her found family again and again was everything. The way they supported her, protected her, and trusted her when it mattered most? Found family perfection 😭🫂

And let’s talk about the crew 😍🔥 Between anxiety-inducing battles and world-ending stakes, there were panty-melting moments 👀🥵—intense, emotional, and deeply earned. The balance between action, intimacy, and emotion was so well done.

The final battle was cinematic as hell ⚡💥 When Raegan finally realized what it would take—and did it—I vividly imagined it like a Thanos-level moment… but instead of a snap, it was a single devastating touch 😳🫢 Absolute chills.

The ending was incredibly satisfying 🖤✨ Raegan’s story wrapped up beautifully, with nothing left unsaid—except my desperate need for spin-offs 😩📚

✨ Perfect for fans of:
🫂 Found Family
🗡️ Badass FMC
🔥 Revenge-driven plots
💕 Why Choose (MFMMM)
✨ Powers & high-stakes magic
⚠️ “Touch them and die” energy
⚔️ Action-packed fantasy romance finales

It was over. The series was complete. And I genuinely didn’t know what to do with myself afterward 😭💔 I already missed this crew the second I turned the last page.

Thank you so much to A.L. Rook and The Nerd Fam for the ARC opportunity 🖤📚 I cannot wait to dive into the prequels next—and I will absolutely be screaming when those spin-offs arrive.

*This is book 5 in the Raegan of Ruin series, and must be read in order.

I have never been more grateful to myself for starting this series when I did. If I had read book 4 sooner, and made myself wait longer for book 5? Oh boy… I would have been a MESS. Well… an even bigger mess, because book 4’s ending??? WOW. Resolve picks up right where book 4 left off in the heat of the battle.

This book is such an amazing wrap up to the series. It will have you feeling every single emotion - sobbing in one chapter, giggling in the next, absolutely panicked after that. It’s so action-packed, every single chapter will have you going “ok just one more chapter….” and next thing you know it’s 4 am (speaking from experience).

The character developement throughout this entire series was amazing, but I feel like there was a lot of growth with Raegan specifically in this book that made me so incredibly happy. I love the family she’s created for herself and how quick they are to support and protect her.

The ending was so satisfying and wrapped everything up with Raegan’s story perfectly. I love that there is definitely spin-off material for some of our side characters. If you hear screaming, thats just me begging and pleading for Portia’s book. Oh and Reid’s! 🤭

If you haven’t started this series already, get it on your TBR immediately! It was so incredible - even with the chaos of working retail during the holidays, I devoured the whole series in about 2 weeks. Absolutely recommend!

Thank you so much to A.L. Rook and The Nerd Fam for the opportunity to ARC read this book. All thoughts are my own. 💗

After the cliffhanger ending of the previous book, this one picks up right where the last left off and thankfully leads right into some resolution to what had me both heartbroken and on the edge of my seat! I am happy that Raegan has all of her men but so sad of those that were lost! You jump right back into some final plotting that must be done to take down GE and Charles once and for all using the powers and skills of the entire team along with some new characters/ siblings that have been introduced! They must all work together to takedown those that would use them and set the rest of the other gifted free!

I really enjoyed following all the multiple POVs of this book and how each character went through different battles and situations and seeing multiple sides of the same scene! I also thought this was the most fast paced, mission focused of the book where every scene had me on the edge of my seat expecting Charles or GE agents to show up and it really felt like the last exciting 15 minutes of a movie! Tensions are high and everything is down to the line here which sucked me into the book and held me there until I finished it! I really enjoyed some of the sassy new characters introduced and brining back some old ones to keep the boys in check and I enjoyed the continued development of the bond between Raegan and her men. There was still plenty of spice and tension between all of these missions, battles and plotting but it flowed well even if I was always nervous Charles was just going to break in. It was overall a good conclusion to this series and my rating 4.5/5!

Thanks to the author for the gifted copy, all opinions given are my own!

Resolve is one for the lovers of epic battles and spicy group scenes! I have to admit I am a fan of longer series, mostly because I feel like the relationship building makes more sense that way, especially when it includes an enemies to lovers trope. As a result, these group scenes truly work for me; they don’t feel rushed but as a true result of the work these people put into the relationship. Because of that, it’s quite satisfying to watch them go, in multiple ways…

I truly loved this series, from start to finish, so it’s bittersweet to watch it end. But I’m mostly happy to see them defeat their adversaries and reach their happily ever after, with some side characters whose stories I would love to read in the future. Portia is a logical request, but also; Sam? He may be a late addition to the series, but he left an impression on me.

No matter what, this is an author I will continue to keep track of. Her character building in this series was amazing, with multiple people who left an impression. I loved the fact none of them were flawless, but showed real redemption when necessary, and I can’t wait to see what more is to come.

There’s something about a final book that makes your chest feel tight before you even start, and yeah… this one hurt in the best way. I went in emotionally braced and still wasn’t ready. It’s intense, relentless, and has that “everything we’ve been building toward is crashing together right now” energy that keeps you glued to the page.

What really got me wasn’t just the chaos or the danger it was the emotional weight. Every choice feels heavy. Every win feels earned. And the found family aspect? That’s the heartbeat of the whole thing. The loyalty, the trust, the ride or die energy had me fully invested and occasionally staring at the page like, “don’t you dare.”

It’s fast, it’s brutal, it’s emotional, and somehow still manages to slip in those quiet moments that punch you right in the feelings. By the end, I felt wrung out, satisfied, a little sad it was over, and weirdly proud of everyone which is honestly my favorite way to finish a series.

This didn’t just end the story. It closed the chapter properly. And I loved that.

Resolve was one of the books I've been most anticipating. It's the final book in the Raegan of Ruin series, and A.L. Rook did not disappoint. I loved the dynamic between Raegan and her guys. They were fighting with all their hearts, backing each other every step of the way. They had to overcome a lot to get to this point. They're finally a cohesive unit, and I couldn't be happier.

Between the new characters and the shocking power developments, it has me wondering if Rook may be expanding this world. I have a few questions, but I would absolutely be down for that. The plot was suspenseful. Rook kept teasing us, but when the final showdown happened, wow! It was theatrical (movie quality); I was on the edge of my seat. I made the right choice to dedicate an entire day to this book; the story went by in a flash. Raegan of Ruin ended perfectly. What an incredible series. I can't wait to see what Rook does next.

😭😭😭 Its over. The series is complete. What am I gonna do without our crew??

Portia came back!! Portia is in a relationship like Raegan and her guys!! Please tell me we get some kind of Portia/Elias story?! 🥹🥹

I'm so glad our guys & gal were able to work through everything, as I don't believe they would have been able to beat Charles without it. When Raegan finally figured out what it would take, and then did it, for some crazy reason I envisioned it like Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet but instead of a snap, it was just a tip of touch that was his undoing.

As with the other books, in between times of anxiety inducing fights against evil, there are scenes of panty melting hotness. like full on 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 🥵🥵. The series was wrapped up very nicely, with nothing left unsaid, except for Portias story, which I'm hoping will come in the near future! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

The end is here and it's bittersweet. Resolve is the fifth and final book to this epic series. This was already one of my favorite series for 2025 and this last book just cemented it's spot in my all-time favorites lists.

Each and every book in this series has brought a great storyline and with tons of action, but this last book ramps it up even more. Raegan and her guys have been fighting hard to stop Charles and his evil plans, but he seems to be one step ahead of them all the time. And he is determined to make himself immortal and all powerful so Raegan has to dig deep and figure out a way to stop him or lose everything.

I loved the connection between Raegan and the guys. The way they work together and are there for each was the best part of this. I also loved how Raegan thought she was alone but really had a family (one made and one found) on this journey. I love her relationship with Reid. That protective big brother vibe made me smile every time.

I'm sad to see this amazing series come to an end, but I'm looking forward to what this author brings in the future.

This made my heart pound; I was so scared from the outset to the end. I’ve loved these characters from the first book, and I am so sad to say goodbye to them, but this was such a great way to finish their story.
Charles is beyond evil, and all of the plans to defeat him seem doomed to fail, but with new allies, there might just be a chance.
The spice between Raegan and her guys is still so hot 🥵 and Aiden’s punishments made my thighs clench.
The final battle was incredible, the stakes felt so high and the chances of one if not more not surviving it, felt very real.
This will be one of those series that I go back to time and again.
Wonderful!

I cannot believe this serious has come to an end.

I’ve been part of the Rookery from the start of Raegan of Ruin, and it’s been an absolute honor and joy.

The characters have such depth, and uniqueness to them, and seeing their interactions and growth from book to book has been incredible.

Knowing that there wouldn’t be a cliff hanger at the end of this book was quite the relief, but I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading this one.

The struggles, and challenges AL put our crew through? Ma’am, I have a few words 😂

An absolutely incredible ending to an incredible series. Thank you for allowing me to be part of it.

I was both super excited for this book, but also dreading it. Really excited because this series has had me under a spell since the first book, and I absolutely needed to know how the story will end. At the same time I did not want this amazing series to end.

So as predicted, I was at the edge of my seat, screaming profanities every now and then. I also got to enjoy some very spicy scenes. I loved how the Guild grew stronger both in numbers and in strenght. And all the banter between these gifted individuals was so much fun! “Buckle up, buttercups!”

Jack, Kellan, Aiden and Dane are all droolworthy in their own way, and I loved how fiercely protective they are of Raegan. These lovelies sure got a great ending to their story, an I’m so happy I got to be a part of their journey.

Worth Waiting For!

I read books one through four in a matter of days and have been waiting since about July/August to read book 5. It was one of my highly anticipated books of 2025! I fell in love with the characters and have loved getting to know more about their personalities and witness the growth.

Resolve(book five) starts off where book four left off. From the very beginning, there are a lot of high emotions and it just pulls you into the story. Reagan and her guys continue to fight for what is right and for what is theirs and nothing will get between them.

This was a wonderfully epic ending to a great series. I highly enjoyed reading this.

Resolve is the 5th and final book in Reagan's story. This series is one of the best I've read in a long time. I have eagerly awaited each time for the next one to be published. The cliffhanger at the end of Remnants had me stressing for months.

This book wrapped up Reagan, Aiden, Jackson, Dane and Kellan with a pretty bow. The ending was perfect and just what I needed for them. I have cried, laughed and wanted to throw my book at times. I'm sad there are no more Reagan books, but I can't wait to see what A.L. Rook comes up with next. I do hope we see more of this world and the people in it.

Incredible ending to a fantastic series. Resolve picks up smack in the middle of the battle that the previous book ended on. It’s intense! And it doesn’t slow down. There is heat, there is angst, there is survival. The amount of times I held my breath, either from the steam coming off the page or in anticipation of what was about to go down was too high to count. Well done! I hope we get a chance to see some of the other characters in this series with their own stories (I’m looking at you P & E!).

What a fantastic conclusion to Raegan's story!
This book moves quickly and captivated my attention from start to finish!
It was filled with edge of seat moments, action, lots of steam, and much more!!
Raegan has been an amazing FMC throughout the series. The things she went through, her strength, and growth. I loved the relationships she has with each of her men too. I feel like they all came along way. It made me so happy to see them finally get their well deserved happy ending!!!
I loved it!!!

Resolve is the fifth and final book in the series. I've been with this series a while and I have kept waiting for Reagan to come into her own. It was like pulling teeth with her. One step forward, two steps back most of the time cause the girl kept getting kidnapped. How does someone who can destroy people and things with just a touch keep getting kidnapped? I was so frustrated with her. Jackson's character really shines in the story. He's saving everyone, keeping his promises, and being his usual over protective self while also being Mr. big dark and broody.

This is the final book in this series. The whole series has you from the beginning and it just doesnt stop. Thr cliffhangers keep you wanting more. This book picks up right in the middle of the battle where book 4 left off. I wont give away too much but I will say this book has action, spice, and someone comes back making your heart so happy. I didn't see how they would win this war but in the end all will be right.

I don’t want this series to be over, but I can’t think of a more perfect ending for Reagan and her men. As always, A.L. Rook delivered an action and emotion packed story full of interesting plot, character development, drama, and amazing spice. I have been reading since the first book in this series and it instantly became a favorite. 5 stars all the way. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next!

This book was the perfect ending to an awesome series!!! Without giving to much away all questions were answered and a few groups came together to defeat GE. I would absolutely recommend this whole series to anyone interested in reading an RH about people with powers doing their best to survive. Throw in some bad guys and bam! You had this phenomenal story. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars because I would.

Holy cow! This book was an amazing conclusion to the series. It has been one of my all time favorite series from start to finish. Raegan and her boys (Jackson, Aidan, Kellan, and Dane) are finally going into the final boss battle against Charles and I don’t know how AL Rook could close out the series in a way that wouldn’t leave part of me feeling empty. But she did it and checked a few scenes off my list that I wasn’t aware I had!

What am I supposed to do now!

What an ending!!

I have LOVED these characters from book 1! I have wanted to throat punch them from time to time, but I am completely in love with them!

The twists and turns never end! I thought I had everything figured out, and then BAM!! Plot twist!!

This series will be added to my reread pile!!

I was lucky enough to receive an arc for this book. The book jumped right in from the cliffhanger of the last book and didn’t really slow down. This epic conclusion was everything I wanted out of the final book of this series. Kinda sad to see these characters go, but I’m excited to see whatever else A.L. Rook puts out next!

Ok, so this ended way better than I thought it would. The action from book 5 was more intense, and the plot moved quickly. The sex scenes are still kind of forced and way too long, but it seems like everything is tied up. There is room left for a spin-off series with Portia and her men. I still think this could have been 4 books instead of 5, but it was a decent series.
