Cara the local vet saves a wolf in the mountains. What she didn’t see coming was he was actually a shifter who tells her she is his mate. If that wasn’t enough as she is dealing with having a mate she has a magic power that comes out of dormancy. Enemies close in and conflicts ensue. This book is a really good read. If you like a paranormal romance with lots of spice and twists, you will love this one.

It is a short novella.
It had a romance, a story besides the romantic aspect. Usually I find that novella's this short just tends to be only romance and sex.
I loved seeing her come into her powers. Both of their relationship with each other improved and it showed. The author did a wonderful job explaining the background of it all so you are not lost.
It is steamy....

This was a fantastically hot little read! Jax (MMC) and Cara (MFC) have an automatic connection that burns the sheets almost from the start! Gorgeous characters and surprisingly decent plot line in this spicy novella! Highly recommend.

This was a fun, over the top, shifter romance. The characters and interactions were predictable while being engaging and interesting at the same time. Even during tense and dangerous situations, there was still a light feel to the story, which I enjoyed.
