What a fantastic beginning!
This book is amazing and I loved it! The first of what promises to be a great new series from Mia starts off with the tale of Dominic and Cecelia. She is his sister’s best friend and an outcast omega after her father is accused of being a traitor. One night together has her thinking they are mates but his rejection hits hard. He is off to volunteer in the Black Ops and when he returns, he plans to participate in the Alpha Trials in order to earn the title of Alpha and bring it back into his family. His return three years later is painful for Cecelia but it is only the start. The elders assign each participant a partner and Cecelia and Dominic are put together. What starts as a very confrontational relationship between the two changes as the trials go on. Dominic starts to realize that he might need Cecelia more than he thought but can’t seem to admit the truth to himself. The truth will soon be revealed and Dominic will stop at nothing to get Cecelia to be his when he realizes she’s his fated mate. There will be a bit of trouble from the current Alpha’s son but it is handled quickly and efficiently by Dominic proving just how qualified his is to be the new Alpha. It will lead Dominic and Cecelia to their happily ever after and I can’t wait to read what comes next!

Cecelia and Dominic both have something to prove. She yearns to find evidence that clears her father's name and restores her to a ranking above that of lowly half-breed omega whose father was exiled for being a traitor. Dominic is determined to rise to the position of alpha which his family held until his grandfather failed the alpha trials. The night he spent with Cece before he left to train for black ops, was just an anomaly. A one-night stand that meant nothing. But his return three years later to compete in the alpha trials causes him to be paired with the very omega he rejected as his mate. Without her help he has no hope of coming out on top of the trials. So, he agrees to help her if she helps him, but will it be enough? And what is it his wolf is trying to tell him about Cecelia?
