Wildhaven Ranch #2

Riding the Storm: An Enemies to Lovers Small Town Romance

Rate this book
I train horses, not broken men. That’s what I tell myself the day Bryce Raintree walks into my arena—cocky, bruised, and dragging his ego behind him like it’s been trampled in the dust. He’s a bull rider who’s lost his edge. His team sends him to me to get it back.

He doesn’t like being told what to do, especially not by a woman like me. But under all that attitude, there’s a storm brewing. And I can’t seem to walk away.

I’ve spent my life in the saddle, doing what needs to be done after losing our mom and stepping up on the ranch. I don’t fix cowboys. But maybe… I don’t have to. Maybe he’s not the only one who needs saving.

If you want a true cowgirl romance, this is the series for you.
There’s cowboys yes but these Storm sisters are the stars.
🤠

And these two had the enemies to lovers banter vibes going that I love!

Charli
I love a strong female lead
Pure horse/ranch/western life girl
Trains horses and people
And cocky cowboys

Bryce
The bull riding cowboy
The cocky charm (without the playboy)
At a pivotal moment in his career/life
I love when the man knows when a woman is his, no wishy washy.

In every Amber Kelly review I will tell you I love her writing.
I love her books, they are plot with enough spice and no extra fluff to just fill pages.

The setting, Wildhaven Storm Ranch, in Wyoming, is small town, true cowboy ranch and living.

I am loving this series.

And also this cover 😍 exactly what in my head these two look like to the T!!

“You can lose a lot of things in life, but if you hold on to faith and each other, you’ll always find a way.”

Riding the Storm absolutely lit me up from the first page. I swear Amber Kelly sprinkled pure cowboy crack into this story because once Charli and Bryce collided, I could NOT look away. This book has everything I love—grit, heart, sass, healing, and enough sexual tension to power the entire ranch for a decade.

First of all: CHARLI.
My girl is a force of nature. A full-on tornado with a saddle and zero patience for grown men with bruised egos. The way she storms around the arena like “I train horses, not broken cowboys” and then immediately finds herself wrapped up in Bryce’s chaos??? ICONIC. She’s fierce and soft and stubborn and vulnerable all at once, and I LIVED for her emotional roller coaster. Honestly, Bryce didn’t stand a chance—she was the whole hurricane AND the rainbow after.

And then there’s Bryce Raintree.
Grumpy, beat-up, ego-bruised, swaggering bull rider who walks into Charli’s arena thinking he can intimidate her. HA. By page 10 he’s already getting lassoed by her attitude and I was CACKLING. He is such a beautiful disaster—arrogant but hurting, stubborn but craving direction, ready to bite but secretly just wanting someone to believe in him again. And Charli? She sees straight through him.

Their banter??? Perfection.
The push and pull??? ELECTRIC.
The slow burn into something neither of them planned??? I melted.

The emotional moments hit just as hard as the spicy ones. The ranch, the family bonds, the way they both discover they’re not actually broken—they’re just waiting for someone who can weather the storm with them. UGH. Stunning.

Five stars because Charli is the tornado, Bryce is the lightning, and this book is the entire damn storm—and I happily stood outside without an umbrella. 🌪️🤠⚡️

I ❤️ Amber Kelly's latest series focusing on strong women in charge of their ranch and destinies. It's always welcome to focus on strong, wild and feisty women who can bring men to their knees.
This story was a perfect display of a Storm sister unraveling a bull rider. And of course, a cocky, self assured one at that. But enter Charli and he's coming undone.
The tension, chemistry and slow burn are Amber Kelly trademarks and she hits the spot all the time.
Big banter
sassy women
the cowboy and the side characters but my favourite are the ever loving Storm grandparents. Oh, they hold my heart.
I'm so excited for what book3 in the series will bring us.

Riding the Storm was a phenomenal read. Charli and Bryce gave us everything, their best, and I could not put the book down. This book has the sass, the healing, the energy, and tension.

Charli is a storm, not just her last name. She is tough, smart, and vulnerable. Stubborn as the day is long and has no patience for those who are licking their wounds. Bryce is not who I expected, he is a talented bull rider, the best. But genuine, appreciative, and so wrong about Charli. He thinks he can walk in appease his management and her easily. He is at a career crossroads, and has no plan, or does he?

I also want to address the research into bull/bronc riding, this is not surface stuff in this book, Charli gives us knowledge, and the subtle clues. I loved the first book, but this book hit me stronger, and the emotional roller coaster gave me a book hangover.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

It’s not often that the second book of a series ends up being my favorite- but- Bryce & Charli’s story takes the title in the Wildhaven Ranch series.

Riding the Storm is an enemies to lovers, bull riding MMC, small town, and an independent stubborn as heck FMC.. (just the way I like em)!

When Bryce is being pushed to switch from bull riding to broncs his team sends him to Wildhaven. I was screaming when he finds out a WOMAN is going to be training him. Charli doesn’t bend to him just because he is a famous bull rider who looks like every girls fantasy.

There is a lot more the Bryce’s story then what meets the eye and I think because of that - him and Charli connect on a deeper level. The relationship they build on the pages is special and it gave me all the warm fuzzies to read their love story.

10/10 in my book.

so grateful for my girl Amber for the E-ARC & her team at Wordsmith.

Riding the Storm

What an amazing, exciting and interesting story about a bull rider that has been sent to Wildhaven to " rehab". This story is full of feelings, jabs at each other when said " training" is to begin. Learning how things will work amongst her family, they just take him in, including hi. Beautiful story.

Cowboy romances are a dime a dozen, so a series featuring the Storm sister cowgirls is refreshing. They’re girl bosses in wild, untamed Wyoming and run the Wildhaven Storm Ranch. Charli Storm is the horse whisperer, but when Bryce Raintree needs to retrain from bull to bronc riding, Charli has her work cut out for her.

When you mix an arrogant, self-assured bull rider with a fierce, strong woman who knows more than him, sparks are guaranteed to fly, along with smoking-hot chemistry. While the clashes are mighty and the banter is witty, the pops of heart and vulnerability make this must read.

Charli & Bryce

This book is exactly what I needed and gave me all the romance vibes I was craving.

From the moment Charli and Bryce met, I knew this book was going to deliver all the sexual tension. I couldn’t wait to see them fall and give in to each other and the chemistry that was absolutely palpable.

Charli is directed by her sister Matty to train the reckless bull rider and make him the best damn Bronc rider the world has ever seen. Only thing is, he’s just as stubborn as the damn bulls he rides.

Bryce or Ry - depending on who you talk to, is nearing the end of his bull riding career. He’s one more concussion away from having a serious brain injury and his team urges him in a different direction. A safer direction. A direction he loathes.

I loved these two. Sure they had a bit of an icy start at the beginning but watching Bryce battle with Charli over her training was highly entertaining and seeing them slowly warm to each other was everything.

These two are perfect for each other, they just meshed so well together. Their chemistry is captivating and the banter was so fun. I loved how no matter how much they fought the connection and denied it, in the end they were always drawn to each other. They unknowingly searched for each other no matter where they were.

I will say, I loved seeing Matty and Case again as well as the rest of the Storm family. Especially Cabe, I so hope he gets a piece of Wildhaven Ranch and his own book, I would also be super keen to read his brother’s books too. It was good to see a little more of the bull riding scene.

My heart did break for both Bryce and Charli at times. Especially when Bryce thinks Charli is keeping him a secret and when Charli is vulnerable about his leaving.

I also adored seeing Bryce with his parents. It showed a whole different side to him and made him even more likeable. That whole scene was everything, I think it made Charli fall a little more in love with him too.

Oh and let’s not forget Bryce’s possessive and jealous side. My god that was so good. I ate that up!

That ending though! I loved that he wanted to make plans for the future and how Matty set him straight.

He may have been forced to go to WildHaven Ranch but it was him that decided to stay and make it home.

Amber Kelly has no surprised, delivered another fantastic book. It’s easy to follow and flows beautifully. The plot is solid and the character development is top tier. The chemistry is felt through the pages and the spice is just a bonus. Nothing was sacrificed, it was perfect.

I absolutely am loving this series. Each book so far has been a favourite read and I can’t wait to see what’s next. Maybe a little Waylon and Shelby?

Ps, I totally loved the engagement scene. It was so cute!

Honestly, I just need more of this family and these characters. I would even die for a little prequel novel of the grandparents love story and may If their dad got a second chance with Imma Jean. I just want all the stories. 😅

Massive thank you to Amber for the ARC.

I received a copy for this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Charli and Bryce. If you are looking for a strong female character, then you have found her in Charli. She is stubborn as the day is long and very independent. She is a horse trainner and one of the best in the business. He is a bull rider who is being encouraged to switch what he is doing for his health and well being. As you can imagine this does not go over to well. When he finds out that a woman is going to be the trainer he is certainly not having it. But, to Winterhaven he goes. Charli has been, lets call hit encouraged, by her sister to train the reckless bull riding Bryce and turn him into the best Bronc rider the world has ever seen. One thing however stands in the way. He is more stubborn than the bull he rides and he is not afraid to let her know that a woman could never train him to be the best in the world. These two really do butt heads. He refuses to accept that he is at the end of his bull riding career. He has had one to man concussions and the next one could be the one that is a very serious brain injury. He loathes the idea of switching to the much safer Bronc riding. I remember when I was reading thinking that htye both sound really dangerous to me. But I know nothing about Bull riding. Just that when I watch it it makes me hold my breath till those seconds are over and the person is safe. You are going to love these two characters and the way they butt heads. They both are stubborn as can be and give each other a run for their money. It is amazing to watch these two slowly warm up to each other. You are going to love this book. It is small town romance that is so worth reading.

I’m in love with the Wildhaven Ranch Series, Amber’s writing and the Storm sisters!

This time we follow Charli Storm and I adore her. She’s a brave cowgirl, stubborn in the best way, fierce, incredible at her job and absolutely determined not to fall for the charm of a certain bull rider who shows up as a new client and needs her training.

Bryce Raintree was everything I hoped for and even more. He’s a bull rider with a notorious reputation and he’s being pushed into making major decisions about his career even though he is not ready for any of it. Once he ends up at Wildhaven Ranch he has no intention of staying a minute longer than necessary. But then a sassy cowgirl, her warm and welcoming family and the beauty of the Wyoming sky start to get under his skin and shake up every plan he came in with.

Charlie and Bryce’s relationship was pure fire. Their chemistry was wild, their connection ran deeper than either expected and even with Charlie trying her hardest to resist him, they formed a bond that surprised them both. The spice was delicious and I love how Amber balances plot and heat. It’s never too much or too little, just the perfect amount to make you giggle, blush, sigh and cheer for them.

I cannot recommend this series enough. Book one was incredible and this one was just as good. If you love strong female characters with boss-lady energy who can bring even the toughest men to their knees, then this series is exactly what you’re looking for!

Thank you so much to Amber and WordSmith Publicity for a copy of this amazing ARC!

•Bryce & Charli
Wildhaven book 2

Pro-bull rider Bryce Raintree is one concussion away from the end of his career. At 28 years old, he’s won countless awards and been crowned world champion, but in an attempt to save his career & for the sake of his health, his team is demanding he switch over to bronc riding. Bryce knows nothing about riding broncs for sport as his whole life has revolved around bulls. Now, he’s forced to spend the summer at Wildhaven Storm Ranch learning a whole new sport. He’s willing to play their game, but has every intention of getting back in the circuit. What he never banked on was meeting someone worth putting ahead of his career. As fate would have it, her name is Charli Storm, and she’s his new trainer.

As the new head horse and rider trainer at her family’s farm, Charli is determined do her part in keeping their business thriving. Charli has never failed in training a client, and the infamous Bryce Raintree will not be her first. However, Charli quickly comes to find that she and Bryce challenge each other in the best way, and there’s no denying the mutual attraction. The more time they spend together in and out of the stables, the quicker the professional lines blur. At the of the day, their lives are running a mile a minute in different directions. Charli’s allegiance is to her family and the farm, and Bryce’s plan was always to leave. Just for once, Charlie wish someone would choose her first…

Bryce & Charli’s book was such a good addition to a series that’s shaping up to be a fantastic one!! I fall more in love with the Storm sister’s with each book! Charlie was sassy and so fiercely independent! I adored how she went toe to toe with Bryce which only added to their fun chemistry! Bryce was the perfect grumpy compliment to Charli, and it wasn’t long before he was down bad! I really enjoyed reading how their relationship developed so organically! @authoramberkelly has me HOOKED with these first 2 books and l can wait to return to the ranch!

Hmm, I'm torn on this one. I really enjoyed the romance between Bryce and Charli and loved the ranch setting. Unfortunately though, as a horse girl myself, the horse aspects had too many errors and it kept pulling me out of the story. I liked the concept of this story but because of the inconsistencies it didn't hit as hard with me as I had hoped. If someone is not overly familiar with horses and with running a farm then I think they would really enjoy it. This is a totally me thing as I'm a stickler for horse accuracy.

I liked Charli. She was fun and gave Bryce a run for his money. I liked that her natural way with horses was discussed and how she trained her horses with care. I like her easy way of handling things and how she was so down to earth.

Bryce was your typical cocky bull rider type. I liked that we got to see his transformation within himself and how much he matured through the story. He had a fun personality and I liked his playfulness and banter with Charli.

It was a eclectic mix of a farm but that lent itself to be a highlight of the story. I enjoyed the large Interconnected family dynamic and how supportive everyone was. The small town feel and the wide open spaces painted a beautiful picture of Wyoming. This was an overall fun story, as long as I don't focus on the horses, and I did enjoy reading it. I would recommend it but maybe not to nitpicky horse girls like myself.

This is the second book in this series and it's been a true rollercoaster ride! I truly enjoyed the journey that the author brought us on and the chemistry with sparks flying around between the two lead characters Bryce & Charli was enthralling to see come to life. I always love romance stories that mix it up with a farm or ranch of animals. It was a great story from beginning until end and kept me captivated. I'm truly excited to what comes next.

Bryce isn't really happy with having to go to Wildhaven to hopefully able to switch careers from bull riding to a brunch rider but it's definitely not really his own choice. It feels like he's losing control of everything that truly matters to him. When Charli hears of the plans of her sister, she's very reluctant to give her what she wants but she agrees in the end; although when she meets Bryce it definitely isn't easy to follow through on her plans. Even though she's been willing to give it a chance, Bryce doesn't make it easy on her to do her job. but there's also an attraction between them that continues to grow and Charli sees a different side to him. Nothing is ever as it seems. When Bryce finally realises what he truly wants to do after his retirement, he is determined to make it work but will Charli truly give him a chance in the end?...

I'm absolutely loved with Riding the Storm by Amber Kelly! Charli and Bryce's story is a wild ride full of banter, passion, and heart. Charli, a horse trainer, and Bryce, a cocky bull rider, clash from the start, but it's clear they're meant to be.

Their chemistry is undeniable, and the way they challenge each other is both hilarious and swoon-worthy. But beneath their tough exteriors, they're both carrying around some emotional baggage, and it's beautiful to see them find solace in each other. Charli's vulnerability and Bryce's growth are perfection, and I fell for them hard!

The spice is HOT, the emotion is REAL, and the humor is ON POINT. Amber Kelly has done it again, and I'm hooked on the Storm sisters! I'm already counting down the days until the next book in the Wildhaven Ranch series.

If you love romance, cowboys, and a healthy dose of sass, Riding the Storm is a MUST-READ! Don't miss out on this wild and wonderful ride!

**ARC REVIEW**

Riding the Storm by Amber Kelly is book two in the Wildhaven Series and my first read by this author — but definitely not my last. From the first chapter, the writing pulled me in. This is a well-crafted slow-burn romance with great characters and a vivid look into rodeo life that I really enjoyed.

Charli is a strong, fierce, and loyal heroine who has dedicated her life to training horses and running her family’s ranch after losing her mom. Fixing broken men isn’t on her agenda. Bryce, meanwhile, is a cocky, bruised bull rider who’s lost his edge and is determined to get it back.

Their banter was fun, their chemistry was off the charts, and the push and pull between them created so much delicious tension. Their emotional growth feels raw and real. I loved watching them learn to trust, to heal, and to grow both individually and together. These two were truly perfect for each other.

I’m loving the Storm family, and I’m already looking forward to returning to Wildhaven Ranch and seeing more of them.

What to expect:

Charli has spent her life training horses and holding her family’s ranch together after losing her mom. She’s strong, grounded, and doesn’t have time—or patience—for fixing broken men. But when bull rider Bryce Raintree shows up bruised, bitter, and struggling to find his footing after losing his edge, Charli is tasked with helping him get back in the saddle.

What starts as a clash of wills quickly turns into something deeper. Beneath Bryce’s swagger is a man fighting to rebuild his confidence, and behind Charli's tough exterior lies a heart that’s been protecting itself for too long. Together, they learn that healing isn’t about fixing someone else—it’s about finding the courage to let someone in.

Amber Kelly’s writing shines with authenticity and heart. The chemistry between Charli and Bryce crackles from their first encounter, their emotional growth feels raw and real, and the backdrop of ranch life and rodeo culture gives the story a rugged beauty that fans of cowboy romance will adore.
Riding the Storm is a tender, slow-burn romance about second chances, resilience, and the power of love to calm even the fiercest storms.

I really enjoyed Bryce and Charli's story. This was definitely a bit of enemies to lovers/workplace romance. Charli wasn't looking forward to trying to train a stubborn cowboy, but she knew she had to for the ranch and the money Bryce was paying to be there. Bryce wasn't happy about having to leave behind bull riding because it was all he had ever known. But he knew his health had to play a factor in the change.

I loved seeing these two go from hating each other and the situation they were in, to tolerating each other to becoming so much more. I really loved that Bryce was the one that vocalized wanting more than just the one night, even though Charli said it was a mistake. I also enjoyed that both of them showed a bit of jealousy when other people were vying for attention from them both. When the jealousy appears, there are real feelings there just hidden slightly under the surface.

I am glad the third act conflict was really solved very quickly. Thanks to Matty having a nice chat with Bryce. I really liked Bryce and Charli together. It was also great to see Matty and Caison from book 1. And I can't wait for the rest of the sisters to find their HEA's.

Bryce Raintree is a pro bull rider forced off tour after an injury, and he’s not happy about it. To make things worse he’s being shipped off to a ranch for rehab and to transition into a safer event—something he has zero interest in.

Charli Storm has just stepped into the head trainer role on her family’s ranch, determined to prove she can handle the job. She’s strong, capable, and confident… until the stubborn, unwilling bull rider lands on her doorstep. She wants nothing to do with his arrogance, but with a generous offer on the line—and rivalry waiting on a neighboring ranch—she can’t turn down the work.

The tension between these two is thick from the start. Their banter is sharp, their chemistry is hot, and once the tension snaps? The heat is undeniable. I loved Charli—her growth felt genuine, and her loyalty made her instantly relatable. Bryce delivers the broody cowboy vibes with a few swoony moments sprinkled in, though I found myself wanting slightly more emotional depth from him.

Still, the supportive family dynamic is wonderful, and the side characters plant the perfect seeds for future stories. I’m already excited to see what’s next for this family!

Riding the Storm is a refreshing spin on cowboy romance because the cowgirl steals the spotlight. Charli Storm is strong, steady, and fiercely loyal—she’s spent her life training horses and holding her family’s ranch together after losing her mother. She doesn’t have the time or the patience for fixing broken men.

Enter Bryce Raintree: bruised, bitter, and a bull rider who’s lost his edge. He’s arrogant, stubborn, and fights everyone who tries to help him—especially Charli. What starts as a clash of wills turns into crackling chemistry and emotional honesty neither of them can run from.

Amber Kelly balances rugged western charm with heartfelt character growth. The romance is slow-burn but full of tension, the banter is sharp, and the backdrop of small-town Wyoming ranch life adds texture and authenticity. Both characters carry real wounds, and watching them find trust, strength, and healing—together—makes this story stand out.

A must-read for fans of cowboy romance, strong heroines, and stories where emotional vulnerability hits just as hard as the heat.

Amber Kelly has done it again! I’m such a sucker for small-town, enemies-to-lovers romances, and this one delivered in every single way.
Bryce Raintree is one concussion away from ending his bull-riding career, so his team pushes him toward something “safer”. Bronc riding. He’s not thrilled, and that’s where Charli comes in. He gets sent to Wildhaven to train under her, and cue the banter because it is THICK.
Charli sees Bryce as just another cocky cowboy, but their chemistry is undeniable and so much fun to watch unfold. Their back-and-forth had me grinning constantly. The plot was solid and the characters were so well developed that I didn’t want to leave Wildhaven when it was over. And let’s not forget the spice 🥵
This book was amazing from start to finish. I’ll absolutely be going back to read book one, because I missed it, and that’s getting fixed immediately!
If you love small towns, slow-burn sparks, and stubborn cowboys falling hard, Riding the Storm is a must read!

A STRONG 4.5 STARS

tbh it could be 5, if it weren't for another cowboy book i so clearly think of as 5.

COWBOY ROMANCES IN WYOMING HECK YES.

Never settle for less than what you deserve—everything.

Charli is quick witted, fiery and hilarious, and everytime she called him 'cowboy' melt not to mention I love me a bull riding Bryce that calls Charli 'darling'.

The storm sisters are everything in this series, and the men obviously. Perfect mix of spice and heart. Amber Kelly keeps on giving

THIS IS THE ENTIRE BOOK IN A SENTENCE >> "It hits me then how rich they are, not in money, but in love. How full their lives are."<<

“I’ve broken harder men than you, cowboy.”

“You’re welcome to stroke whatever you want anytime, darlin’.”

But nights like this … they remind me that when the lights go out and the crowds go home, it’s just me.

“Quiet’s good for the soul.”

“But we never lost hope. Because it’s not the good times that shape you. It’s the hard ones. That’s where character is forged. Right there in the fire.”

I cannot wait for book #3 although i think this one will be tough to beat.

🤠🤠BOOK REVIEW🤠🤠

Riding the Storm is the second book the Wildhaven Ranch Series by Author Amber Kelly.

One of my favorite aspects of this series is that the women are in charge of the ranch.

Charli (MFC) is fierce, large and in charge, she is tough and has zero tolerance for nonsense. She is not scared of anything. She runs things…all things.

Bryce Raintree (MMC) is a cowboy who is grumpy, arrogant, and is having a hard time as a handsome bull rider. He thinks he can intimidate Charli – NOT. They bump heads. They have sharp banters. He has met his match with dealing with Charli.

This high energy, electricity, and awesome chemistry between Charli and Bryce is an awesome slow burn that is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. This storm has twists and turns, emotional upheaval, and good supporting characters from the family. I love how the story evolves.

Oh my, Riding the Storm was so good and so swoony and Amber Kelly just blew my mind with her perfect story telling. And another thing she nailed that thing called cowboy small town romance. And Charli was perfect. Smart, strong and sassy. And she was the right match for Bryce and his wild ways. I loved the banter and the tension and the sparks flying constantly. Those two were pure fire together and I loved them. Charli helped Bryce see his dream changing and growing into something else and he helped her embrace her wild side with him. I loved seeing Matty and Case again. But that girls night out was wild and stormy. And it was so good getting all the hints on the next couple and I think that it'll be a wild and stormy one and I can't wait for them.

Thanks to the author and WordSmith Publicity for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book.

Oh, the banter, feistiness and sexual tension! Charli and Bryce are a match made for each other. She’s independent, smart, sexy, and afraid of being hurt. He’s all muscle, good looks, and afraid of what the future holds for his career as a bull rider. Together, they have the banter and the desire for more, but they also know the Bryce is moving on after he’s done training on the broncs.
I loved Charli she is complicated, strong, and is passionate about horse training. She speaks her mind and is not afraid of confrontation. She doesn’t want to like Bryce, but she does.
Bryce has done nothing but bull riding, traveling from place to place, going out with countless women, and moving on. No problem. Until he meets Charli. She is like a road block. Where his career was a straight path, she has made him consider a permanent detour.
This is cowboy romance, small town, family, banter, and so much more. It’s a quick read so savor it with a glass of sweet tea and enjoy the wild ride.

Charli will do anything for her family and to ensure the success of the family ranch even if it means training a reluctant cowboy. He seems to know exactly what to say and do to get a reaction from her but it isn’t long before the sparks of antagonism between them turn into sparks of a different kind.

Bryce is a successful bull rider however continuing his career could have long term effects on his life so he is considering competing in bronc riding instead. This is not a choice but a necessity which he is not happy about which doesn’t allow him to get off to the best start with Charli however she isn’t about to back down.

The banter between them is entertaining and she is his equal in every way. When the feelings escalate between them there are difficult decisions that must be made both when it comes to their romance and life.

Love being back on Wildhaven Ranch!! I loved Charli in book one she had so much sass and couldn’t wait for her book. Bryce doesn’t want to be at the ranch and feels everyone is taking control of his life and telling him what he should do but really he is trying to keep everyone happy but this is making him miserable. He does not plan on Charli though, I loved these two together immediately they were perfect together i loved how much Charli saw of him and in turn they both saw another side of each other. We get lots of Cabe in this one too and I am just loving him so much too. I love a cowboy and Bryce has become one of my favs. I couldn’t put this book down and can’t wait now for more from this amazing family.

If you thought the first book was good then hold onto your boot because this one gets better.

I know when I pick up an Amber Kelly book I am going to get a feel-good story with everything I love in a good romance. Riding the Storm was no exception. This is a true cowgirl story. Hell the whole series so far is. I loved Charli’s no-nonsense attitude and the way she didn’t take any bull crap from Bryce.

This was a definitely a slow burn romance with all the emotion and heart. Amber will take you on a wild ride. The banter between these two.. sweet lawd. Their chemistry was on fire and the connection was undeniable.

This series brings back all the Poplar Falls series vibes and guess what I am all for it. I can not wait for more of these sassy cowgirls.

“Well, if you want everything, you’d better cowboy up because it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.”

Wildhaven Ranch is the place to be. I am loving Amber Kelly's series as she is rocking the strong and fierce cowgirls. The Storm sisters are giving every cowboy a run for their money. I absolutely loved the banter, passion and heart between Charli and Bryce. Bryce had a moment with Giles and it was heartwarming. I enjoyed more of the family and how Bryce fit right in.
This series just keeps getting better and I can't wait for book three.

"Every day with her has been like riding a tornado. You don’t want to tame it; you just want to hold on and ride up into the funnel, enjoying the thrill of the storm until it dumps you on the other side."

We’re back at Wildhaven Storm Ranch, and I just love how it’s run by such strong, capable women!

Charli Storm has neither the time nor the patience to train with cocky professional bull rider Bryce - but fate clearly has other plans, and these two are thrown together anyway.

Neither one is willing to back down, and the sparks and tension between them are so good. When they finally give in… it’s absolutely beautiful.

Beyond the romance, I adored the found family aspect for Bryce, it gave the story so much warmth.

This series has been such a fun ride so far, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Thank you Amber and team for allowing me to read this arc, I’m so grateful for the opportunity💕
