I didnt mind the age gap or the weirdness of this story but this but these two brothers pissed me off so bad 😭 I really just wanted it to be over. And the redemption arg from big bro was nothing fr he could have died and I wouldn’t have minded at all. Anyway Main couple was sweet but I didn’t particularly feel anything for them besides that.

After watching his boyfriend die in a hit & run car accident, Chiaki wakes up 10 years in the past in his own 11 year old body with the knowledge of what happened in the future.

This is an interesting take on time travel. To begin with, when Chiaki gets into his past self, we don’t know that his bf is currently 28 years old. It’s at this point that we find out about their future age gap relationship. 21 and 38 is a hefty difference, which is between two consenting adults. But when he’s 11, expressing his love and thinking in his mind that he’s going to find the version of his Kuon again by making him love him, it gets a lil weird.

I don’t think in any way that there is going to be a relationship between an 11 and 28 year old, but we’re stepping into territory that could get a little icky if not done correctly. Right now, the story could be that Chiaki just wants Kuon to not be a sad person all alone with no family, but the minute romance hits, I’m hoping we hop back into the future.

We shall see…….

Ich gestehe gleich, auch dieser Manwha war ein absoluter Cover-Kauf. Aber auch die Beschreibung hat mich angefixt gehabt. Wie sollte eine solche Geschichte tatsächlich ablaufen ?

Mit dieser Art der Umsetzung habe ich dann nicht gerechnet. Aber sie brachte nicht nur Schwung und eine ganz eigene Dynamik in die Geschichte, sondern sorgte für Herz und Humor.

Chiaki und Kuon sind die Protagonisten dieser Reihe. Sie sind bereits ein Paar als der tödliche Unfall passiert. Chiaki wünscht sich nichts sehnlicher als seinen geliebten Kuon wiederzusehen. Und so landet er 10 Jahre in der Vergangenheit. An dieser Stelle sollte man sich durchaus gewahr sein, dass das nicht wie in anderen Storys abläuft, sondern etwas realistischer - und tatsächlich mit einer wesentlich jüngeren Version von Chiaki. Das finde ich einfach absolut herrlich.

Die Bruder-Thematik wird angefasst, aber noch nicht ganz aufgerollt. Und ich bin ehrlich gesagt ziemlich neugierig, welche Dynamik sich dann dort nun entwickeln wird. Und vor allem, welche Geheimnisse ans Licht kommen, die vorher verborgen geblieben sind.

Chiaki ist aber schon ein ziemlicher Lausebengel, der wohl dank Kuon auch sein Herz gefunden hat. Er ist so herrlich, dass man ihn für jede seine noch so zum Scheitern verurteilten Aktionen anfeuern muss. Kuon hingegen wirkt Menschen gegenüber jedoch sehr schroff und wie der perfekte Abzocke-Tierarzt. Jap, richtig gelesen. Kuon ist Tierarzt und spezialisiert auf Katzen!!! Also bitte alle Katzenfans, das dürfte doch wohl für das eine oder andere schroffe Verhalten gegenüber anderen Menschen eine gute Entschuldigung sein, oder?

Je mehr ich Kuon kennenlerne, desto mehr möchte ich über ihn wissen. Und vor allem möchte man wissen, wie Chiaki und Kuon eigentlich ursprünglich zusammengekommen sind. Die beiden haben einen recht großen Altersunterschied und ihre Charaktere sind ebenfalls recht gegensätzlich. Da ist man durchaus immer wieder gern neugierig.

Weil Band 1 wirklich ausgesprochen gut gefallen hat, die Thematik mit "Zeitreise" gut umgesetzt wurde und die aufgeworfenen Fragen mit der Handlungsentwicklung wahrscheinlich beantwortet werden, freue ich mich schon jetzt auf Band 2. Bis September dauert es zwar noch ein paar Tage, aber ich kann es kaum erwarten!

-so far wholesome and not spicy

This seems like it will be a wholesome series. If you have a problem with age gaps especially when they go back in time and one ends up a child, then this one probably is not for you. If you can look past that, knowing they originally met when both were older (21 ) and so far it more wholesome with the younger one just wanting to be there for the other, who tries to keep distance between them, then I would give it a try. I think with Chiaki being sent back in time he gets to see a point of Kuon's life when he was kinda struggling before he was able to meet Chiaki when he was older. I have a feeling though Chaiki's brother is going to cause a stir, but hopefully it get worked out without a bunch of drama.

Quick Summary:
Chiaki has to watch his boyfriend die in an accident then goes back in time ten years later. However, going back ten years puts him at the age of 11 and while knowing Kuon habits he is hit with the truth that Kuon is different than when he first met him. This doesn't stop him from pushing his way into Kuon's life and hopefully save his life later.

Bộ truyện này nét vẽ mình không thể yêu nổi và bản tiếng anh đọc chán phát điên, không biết tiếng Hàn có vậy không.
Mình định drop ngay chap 5 mà thấy mn review khen quá làm mình cố đọc cho bằng hết. Về sau có vài đoạn hài hước, vài đoạn hơi điên, càng đến cuối càng hay.
Dạo này có vẻ mình gặp motip du hành thời gian này kia hơi nhiều nhưng ở bộ này dòng thời gian cũng khá thú vị, trở về độ tuổi như trong truyện là điều mình chưa bao giờ nghĩ đến và những chuyện xảy ra sau đó cũng bất ngờ không kém. Sáng tạo đúng là cái gì đấy thật tuyệt vời mà.
Mỗi tội nhịp truyện và cách kể trôi quá, sau tác giả vẽ đẹp lên nên cũng ấn tượng hơn chút. Kết hay.
Đây là bộ manhwa duy nhất không có cảnh H mình đọc trong tháng này :))))

Nope. Nope. Nope. I don’t mind age-gap romances, even if one is 21 and the other 38. But when the other goes back in time and is now 11 to the other man’s 28, it stops being romantic when the kid goes after his ‘future lover’. Even when the older man wants nothing to do with the kid. There’s also a stalkerish college age brother who in a good case scenario might turn out to be the real romantic interest for the older guy, and in a bad one a real creep. Not even cute cats will make me read more. Especially when they keep dying.

it’s kinda creepy that taehyuk waited for a kid to grow up. also creepy that he fell in love with a twenty one year old in a eleven year olds body.every time they hugged or hangyeol blushed it freaked me out. however if i ignore that(really hard tbh) it was an okay read. i think the yandere brother was a bit weird. once you get why it kinda makes sense. the art was beautiful. so yeah an okay read.

I'm interested in the plot and I love Scarlet Beriko's art. I am a little nervous about the fact that he's trying to get close to his partner while he's an 11 year old, but so far it hasn't been weird. The brother seems like he'll be kind of a scary character and I'm curious if something deeper is happening with the death and the time-travel. I'm looking forward to reading more.

CW: death of an animal

Scarlet Beriko is one of my favorite creators because she always takes risks - and they often pay off. This full-color time loop story about a man who goes back in time to save his lover (who naturally doesn't believe him) is equal parts emotional and entertaining, and, I have to say, absolutely nails the horrible feeling of losing a beloved pet.

The 17 year age gap between the two MMC's coupled with the time rewind scenario of 10 years, was...a choice and not at all necessary. Overall though, it was a cute and wholesome read. Will have to see where this goes but I'll be proceeding with caution.
