Double Bluff: A Standalone Why Choose Romantic Mystery

Rate this book
Evil twins are supposed to be something out of a bad fantasy novel, but not for me.My mirror is a monster. A gaslighting narcissist who framed me for an act of bullying so vicious, our mother threw me out of the house and snatched my inheritance from me on the way out the door.
Ten years later, Mother is dying, and my life is a disaster. My apartment is a shithole. I'm thousands of dollars in debt, and my boss says if I quit, or dump him, he'll show the world the "videos" we made when I thought I was in love with the bastard.
One day, my sister shows up at my crappy apartment, begging me to come back and fulfill Mother's wish of seeing me one final time. I gave in. I got in her car.

That was my first mistake.

The deer came out of nowhere. There wasn't even time to brake.
I woke up hours later bleeding, broken, and sitting next to a dead body.
I panicked... then I had an idea.
When the cops arrived, I was alone. They looked through the purse in the back. They read the registration. They asked me if I was my sister, and I said yes.

That was my second mistake.

That night, the police drove me to the mansion on the hill. Inside, my sister's husbands, each more gorgeous and heart-breakingly charming than the last, welcomed me as their wife. My sister's daughter hugged and called me Mommy. My mother smiled at me, looking at me as her perfect child, and not the one she threw away.
And just like that, I took her life like my sister took mine. I stepped into the role of perfect wife, mother, and daughter, and that...
...that was the mistake that killed us all.

Double Bluff is a dark romance with mystery, heavy themes, and no choosing required.

Dnf at 9%

So upsetting. The premise of this book, the waiting for it to be released and I downloaded it the 2nd it became available on KU. Only to dnf at like 9%.
The cringiest diapogue and the dumbest- and I do mean dumbest FMC i have ever read in a book ever. She's supposed to be super, Uber smart that she was valedictorian and heading to Yale until her evil sister framed her in a really bad accident..

1. Starts out with FMC at a Fertility Dr appointment that she can't afford, telling the Dr that she just met her life story about how her evil bitch twin sabotaged her entire life & she has nothing.
Even the Dr is like "why are you telling me this" It's obvious the FMC has problems & isn't exactly giving off healthy mental vibes & she's trying g to convince the Dr to help her have a child??

The scene was so cringe & I get why the author wrote it- 2 birds 1 stone it sets up the history of trauma & her dire need to have a baby. It's lazy & cringe writing & the FMC comes off as stupid & immature. Why wouldn't she write it as the FMC & a therapist?

2. Fmc is a waitress that makes $14 an hour. Her car is rundown. Her apt is rundown & in a bad neighborhood. Her deadbeat boyfriend cheated on her & is now blackmailing her to not leave him OR he'll release sex tapes that she stupidly made with him. Revenge porn is a felony why wouldntt she just go to the police? Also who cares at this point ? She has no friends or family anymore.
And she thinks bringing a child into her life would be a good thing? She can't even take care of herself or make good decisions.
Also Dr's making over a $1000 just for consultation appointments don't talk to you about your shitty credit score & inability to get a loan. That is why they have a billing dpt & office managers.

3. Ignoring what her sister said about tge house/manor- her sister said " we bought the house, that it belongs to me now". Uber Smart FMC didnt think to ask what she meant by "we"?
Fmc thinks by taking over her evil sisters life she can just sell the manor & use it to fund her need for a baby. That's how tunnel visioned she is about it all.

She gets into her sister's car (again cause her crappy car won't start & author needed a plot device to get fmc to go with evil sister). Alright fine. Was trying to over look all this till...

4. The accident. This dumb b"tch answers the phone right after the accident & talks to her deadbeat blackmailing cheating boyfriend who is just so upset that he's insisting that she send proof that his gf is dead. So she snaps a Pic & sends it to him! A photo of her dead ass sister!! Are you kidding me rn.

She's trying to take over her evil bitch sisters life, she's on the phone with her bf & the smoke from the car or whatever changed her voice & he has no idea it's her & she just keeps digging herself deeper & deeper.

5. Police don't tell you "you're story matches the evidence " or "this was clearly an unavoidable accident " at this point the super smart FMC has i guess hidden her sisters dead body somewhere?? So as far as the police know it's just a bad car wreck that involved a deer. No other cars - police dont investigate random accidents like someone hitting a deer- there would be a police report sure but at no time do cops tell you things like that while youre being trated by paramedics.

They dont go searching your car after the fact either they don't go snooping thru designer bags locked in your trunk either like its a crime scene- after they've already told you it was accident. Cops cant just rifle thru your shit.
The entire thing was just written so badly - its a car accident its not that complicated, stop watching so much CSI.

They certainly don't offer you rides to your house or refuse to allow you get hitch a ride from the tow company either. They ASK you if you have family or friends that they can call for you (that didn't happen).
They don't make weird comments about why youre dressed down when you have full designer bags sitting in your trunk.
They don't insist on walking you into your house and then question "Who are you" to men that walk down the stairs to greet you.
Like it's their business.
And they don't stand there & question that you have plural husbands or whatever arrangement marriage you 4 may have. Wtf wrote this? A teenager?

At this point she finds out her sister has a child (that she now wants) and her husband's have been with her evil sister for 7 years. At this point im like if they are still with that evil sister for 7 years they must be equally dumb as the FMC. Surelybtgey had to have known how evil wife was & tgey either still stayed with her OR they were really that dumb & I knew right then & there the writing was not going to improve.

Laughable & cringe & wth is giving this 4 & 5 stars? Wow just wow. I'm actually angry about this.

What a roller coaster! I'm a fan of Ruby Vincent's books, but I think this one is my favorite so far! I was totally caught up in the mystery, I just couldn't put the book down until the end. Then I was sad because I read it so fast I wanted more - I really loved the end, I just wasn't ready to say goodbye to those characters, haha.

One of my favorite things was the fact that Sarang/Sarah (the FMC) and her family are Korean, and their culture is a really important part of the story. She also was an incredible main character, I was rooting for her since the first page.

And let's take a moment to talk about the evil twin, Soo Min/Sue: it has been a while since I hated a female character that much. But wow, she IS evil. And not like a mean girl. Nope, we are talking about a sick narcissist who is bad since she was a kid. It's not jealous, it's so much more than that... she may be dead for the most part of the book, but we got to know every little thing she did to Sarang/Sarah in the past and lemme tell you something: Ruby Vincent wrote an amazing evil character. Knowing that she had her punishment before she died was so good (it's not a spoiler, her death is right there in the blurb).

The mystery, the doubts... everyone looked guilty. The lies and secrets were pilling just like the bodies. And just like Sarang/Sarah, we don't know who to trust because everyone is hiding something, everyone could be responsible for what is going on, even the MMCs, so let me give you an advice: this is a book you need to pay attention, because there are so many twists that in the end, that every interaction matters. SO GOOD.

Last but not least, the romance: I really liked Micah, Rhodes and Alex (he was my favorite, but I can't tell you why because of spoilers) but we don't get to know them like in others reverse harem books because the feeling of not knowing who to trust is part of the plot and I really loved the way it was built. Don't worry, we get our smut and angst - and they don't disappoint. Like everything in this book, the relationships were a roller coaster and I loved every second of it.

To wrap up, Double Bluff is an emotional, dark, and thrilling mystery. It's also full of romance, and one of the bests books of Ruby Vincent. If you love mystery, romance, and reverse-harem it's a must-read.

Double Bluff starts off looking like a straight up identity‑swap drama. A woman steps into her sister’s life and tries to convince the three men who are married to her sister to love her instead. It sounds messy enough on its own, but Ruby Vincent doesn’t stop there. The story quickly mutates into an unhinged murder mystery stacked with lies, deception, and betrayal. At one point, you genuinely have no idea who’s telling the truth. Every revelation Sarang uncovers doesn’t bring clarity. It unravels another secret and drags her down a new, twisted path.

What I really appreciated is the Asian representation woven through the chaos. Sarang is Korean, and Vincent sprinkles in little bits of Korean culture: language, food, family dynamics. It adds texture to the story and gives Sarang a distinct identity beyond the plot’s insanity. But no mention about Kpop? Sad😢

Now about the characters: Sarang (Sarah) - female lead. She's strong, resilient and probably the most fleshed out character.

As for the three male leads: Micah, Rhodes, and Alex: I didn’t feel much chemistry between them and Sarang. Micah, the one actually married to her sister, barely registers beyond the premise. Rhodes has so little personality that I honestly can’t remember a single defining trait. Alex is the only one who stands out, mostly because his bickering with Sarang adds some hilarious moments. Overall, the guys feel underdeveloped, which makes the central dynamic less impactful.

The whole thing spirals into this gloriously unhinged, borderline soap‑opera level chaos where every character is hiding something and every twist feels wilder than the last. The book keeps hitting you with twist after twist until you’re just as paranoid, breathless, and hooked as she is.

And honestly, you can tell it’s a Ruby Vincent story. The unhinged twists, the morally gray characters, the constant sense that everyone is lying about something. It has her signature brand of beautiful madness stamped all over it.

Thankfully it’s a standalone, because I genuinely could not handle this level of insanity stretched across multiple books. 😂

Double Bluff is the newest release from Ruby Vincent.
This Standalone is told through multiple POVs of which includes the FMC Sarang ‘Sarah’ Kim aka Sarah Lee in what turns out to be an Enemies to Lovers, Hidden Identity, Riches to Rags to Riches, Why Choose Romance read.

If there is one thing Ruby Vincent is great at, it is creating and then weaving together a storyline that is quite the intricate tangled web. While simultaneously taking you on a whirlwind rollercoaster ride due to the crazy, chaotic and wild story.
Full of many twists, turns, loops and knots, that you can’t help be hooked by, leading you to grasping on tight from being entranced, to the point of being on the edge of your seat.
All the while biting your nails simultaneously in wonder, anticipation and constant guessing of every little piece, considering the multitude of questions continuing to rise, wondering what else could be around the corner.

The twists and turns in Double Bluff had me thrown all over the place, while battling many emotions and feelings thrown along the way, never always knowing what is going to happen or to expect next!
I was metaphorically holding white knuckles tight on this rollercoaster of a story!
Not wanting to let go EVER and making me fall deeper down the hole of Sarah’s story.
Trying to seek answers to questions and get a deeper knowledge inside to not only the story, as well answers behind each of the characters into how their mind worked and what to expect when it came to their plans and actions in their personal journeys and the ones that had them all interconnecting.

Honest to gawd, once I started I didn't want to stop or put the book down, devouring each page with every page turn.
Then again with thoroughly developed characters, considering all that was made known to us through the POV chapters of. As well as from their inner monologue that further added depth to the individual characters, seeing them being opened up and unravelled before our eyes.
It was no wonder this compelling story of Sarang ‘Sarah’ Kim aka Sarah Lee and the MMCs was un-put down-able.
I also have to put out that I love how Ruby never shies away from having representation in her stories, particularly when it comes to the main characters of her books. Considering in this book not only was the FMC Sarang of Korean descent, but also one of the MMCs was POC. Something that was nice and refreshing to see.

As for the narrative, it was filled to the brim with many elements to make up such a strong plot, it was to be expected.
Whether it be the secrets, lies and deceit, alongside the growing mystery, given the murder mystery element, which led to the underlying suspense that would not stop building.
There was no real effort or push needed to read onwards, since the flow of the words, sentences, paragraphs made it effortlessly move onwards for you. Allowing for so much to give and tell.
And can’t forget about all the drama, considering there was a lot, adding even more to the fulfilling and satisfying storyline.

With a compelling storyline that had you captivated through a somewhat adventurous journey, due to all that occurs in this rollercoaster ride that kept you guessing non-stop from the many mysteries, secrets, lies and deceit of it all.
Accompanied by a whirlwind of emotions that came from all the the well and thoroughly developed characters faced, endured and suffered through.
Ruby Vincent has done it again, creating a greatly written, fantastic story that was the Standalone Double Bluff.
So if there was ever a book to read, Double Bluff would most definitely be it!

I was initially interested in this book because I've read a few of Vincent's other works, and then after reading the synopsis, I became curious about what would happen if a good twin replaced a bad twin. However, this book did not go the way I thought. Unfortunately, this book felt like a Nancy Drew novel gone wrong and the romance, if you could even call it that, felt nonexistent. I knew the relationship between the bad twin and her husbands would be rocky, allowing for them to easily move on to the good twin, but everything moved too quickly in my opinion. The events in this book took place over a few months, but it felt like days. I didn't even know months had gone by until one of the characters mentioned it. I feel like a buildup was necessary considering how much the husbands seemed to hate the bad twin, aka Sue. I couldn't quite understand them hating her to the point that they wished she was dead but also quickly jumping into bed with who they thought was Sue. I don't understand Sarah's decision to start sleeping with them either. While she did once have a crush on them, they barely had any contact with each other in the past, and for the past few years, the men had been sleeping with her sister, so I can't quite wrap my head around how there was little to no hesitation on her part. It's not like they had any meaningful conversations in the time they spent together. Their entire relationship was arguments, lies and s3x. I also didn't feel like the relationship between Sarah and Sue's daughter, Lily, was fleshed out enough, which was weird because Sarah wanted kids so badly, and yet, she and Lily's relationship was a very small part of this book. I was very disappointed in the development of the character's relationships.

The more I read, the more disappointed I became because there were so many things that didn't make sense.

-Why would someone as smart as Sarah attempt to do IVF while working as a waitress, making less than $20 an hour and living in a rundown apartment, just walking distance from drug dealers?

-If Sarah was kicked out at 17yrs old with only the clothes on her back, why didn't she seek help from her best friend, Courtney, whose family had money? The author attempted to briefly explain why Sarah didn't go to Courtney by saying she didn't think Courtney would believe her, but then 10 pages later, Sarah was saying they were ride or die for each other. As an author, how can you describe them as ride or die for each other, best friends for life, who would trust each other with their lives, and then have the MC not go to her for help? Sarah just left town without seeing her "best friend" for about a decade.

-If Sarah was once upon a time ago on track to be a lawyer and high school valedictorian, who had a habit of recording all of her conversations to protect herself, why would she be stupid enough to suggest creating a s*x tape with her boyfriend? SHE suggested it! Said boyfriend then blackmailed her with tape to avoid a breakup. How is it that the Sarah in the beginning was willing to be abused by her ex but the later Sarah was throwing threats around left and right? It felt like two different people.

-Why was Sarah's mom so quick to think she was lying about a bullying incident? Especially, when we find out in the latter half of the book, her sister, Sue, has been known to be a liar. Her mother once favored Sarah because Sue lied about something REALLY big when they were kids so how did that suddenly flip?

-If Sue lied about being pregnant to trap the men, why did they still have relations with her even AFTER finding out the truth, resulting in a very real pregnancy?

-Why was Sarah willing to go see her mom on her deathbed after being kicked out and abandoned? I know it's her mom, but excluding the stuff she did to Sarah, her mom was simply a TERRIBLE person.

I have so many questions!

I truly feel like this book was unnecessarily angsty. It was angst on top of angst. You already had the bullying and abandonment backstory but then there was the blackmail and then the car crash and then the dying mom and then the unexplained murders and then more blackmail and then secrets as a result of this this and that. At one point, the author started giving out tragic backgrounds or sob stories like Oprah giving out cars. Every time Sarah put on her knockoff Nancy Drew outfit, she would confront someone about something and all they had to do is whip out a sad story and she stopped being suspicious. Then suddenly to wrap the story up, she became the genius Sherlock Holmes. I'm still not convinced or quite sure I understand how she, who was sooo bad at sleuthing, figured out the antagonist. I was more surprised by Sarah's realization than finding out who the killer was and I think that's a problem.

The only reason I didn't drop this book is because by the time I was considering dropping it, I was really far into the book. It felt like a waste to not at least learn who the bad guy was, but even after finishing, I don't think it was worth it.

⭐ 4/5 stars

After completely falling in love with Ruby Vincent’s bully academy reverse harem worlds (Breakbattle Academy, Evergreen Academy, Raven River Academy, Somerset University), I was excited—and a little nervous—to step into something new from her. Double Bluff is a standalone reverse harem with assumed identity and murder mystery elements, and it absolutely hooked me.

One thing I really loved right away was the representation. The FMC, Sarang (Sarah), and her family are Korean, which felt refreshing and meaningful, and one of the MMCs is Black as well. It added depth and authenticity to the story without feeling forced.

The premise is dark and compelling: Sarang has been brutally bullied and gaslit by her twin sister, Soo Min (Sue), to the point that their mother exiles Sarang at eighteen. Ten years later, Sue reappears, begging Sarang to come home to say goodbye to their dying mother. On the way, a tragic accident kills Sue—and Sarang makes a split-second decision that changes everything. She steps into her sister’s life, not realizing that Sue has a daughter and three husbands waiting for her at home.

From there? The lies, bodies, and secrets just keep piling up.
Who’s telling the truth? Who’s manipulating whom? And who can Sarang actually trust?

The suspense was so strong I read this book in 24 hours. The twists kept coming, and I genuinely loved how everyone was hiding something. That said, by the end, the many layers of truth did get a little complicated for me—it became hard to keep track of every reveal. This is definitely a book where you need to pay attention, because every interaction matters in the bigger picture.

As for the reverse harem:

Alex was my standout favorite. His bickering with Sarang was absolute gold.

Micah and Rhodes unfortunately blurred together a bit personality-wise for me.

The spice was well written, and the angst felt real, not manufactured.

And can we talk about Lily? Because she is just adorable and added so much heart to an otherwise dark story.

The ending surprised me in the best way. Once everything clicks into place, it’s incredibly satisfying and rewarding, even if the path there is twisty and intense.

Overall, Double Bluff is a gripping, dark, and emotional standalone that shows Ruby Vincent can absolutely deliver outside her academy bully comfort zone. If you like mystery-heavy dark romance with reverse harem dynamics and high tension, this one is worth the ride.

Let’s just say that I was not expecting the reception Sarah receives from Sue’s husbands when she first encounters them. As the saying goes, a leopard doesn’t change its spots and Sue was no exception. It’s odd that she waited ten years to flaunt the guys in front of Sarah but I guess even she didn’t dare risk pissing off her mother. The men knew Sarah from high school. Didn’t they ever wonder or ask what became of her? Even if they believed she had caused the boy’s accident, being permanently banished is pretty harsh. Also, wouldn’t the law have been involved? (See below)

An intentional tort occurs when someone intentionally commits an act that causes harm to another person. Unlike negligence, which is the failure to exercise reasonable care, intentional torts involve deliberate actions.

I’ve made it to Chapter 12 and am taking a breather. The build up to finding out what’s supposed to happen at the anniversary party and its impending doom is wearing me down.

GloryBoi was a nice idea but what’s to keep addicts from turning to other options once they’d reached their limit there? They were bought out for twenty billion. Rhodes gave away his almost seven billion. Then he says their family is dependent on his earnings with his investment firm since Micah sends every cent he makes to his parents (including his share of the billions?) and neither Alex nor Sue work. So what happened to Alex’s almost 7 billion dollars? That’s a hell of a lot of money to fritter away.

Back to the anniversary party - The guys told Sarah that the party was going to act as a pretense while the men recruited investors so they could pay the original investor off. Did any of this happen before the incident?

This was a fantastic read. I used to read mysteries almost exclusively before I fell down the rabbit hole of smutty adult romance. New suspects would appear and then be eliminated. I’ve gotta say that I had my doubts about who was telling the truth up until the Final Chapter. There is also a bonus epilogue available on BookFunnel with a nice segue into a new neighborhood and characters.

High Class Street Trash, the first in the Rags to Riches trio, will be released on April 29th
4/29/26 - High Class Street Trash (if it even exists) doesn’t seem to be available at any of the sources I’ve checked.

An Unbelievable crazy ride of a story!

Wow!

This book is so good it's ridiculous. A crazy, sexy, murder mystery whodunit that will keep you guessing to the last chapter with the most insane twists and turns that you'll never see coming. I haven't felt this awestruck and excited by a story in a long time and I read 100's of books a year. This one will stick with me for a long time.

Everything in this book is perfection. The overall plot, characters, underlying mystery, and the sexy spice throughout serve the story brilliantly.

I don't want to give anything away because going in blind is the best way to enjoy this book. Every little detail that's been lovingly put on the page drives the story forward so that the ending is not only well earned, but extremely satisfying.

Trust me- pay attention to every scene, conversation and plot point because every detail eventually adds up to tell an absolutely brilliant conceived story that is unique and a must read.

I can't recommend it enough.

Omg what a book!!! Wow. I love everything I’ve read of Ruby Vincent, but I had my doubts the story would wrap up well in a single book. I should not have doubted it for a second. I love RH books. They are my bread and butter of romance novels and I thoroughly enjoyed this book!!! It reminded me so much of the tv show Ringer with Sarah Michelle Gellar (that was taken off the air way too quickly!), and I felt like it kind of gave me an ending of that show in a way. I absolutely loved this book and every character. I didn’t know who to trust, and the final twist at the end had me questioning the whole book and everyone in it! I also thoroughly loved the cameo at the end! IYKYK! Best scene to read!!!! I really hope something happens there for a future book. I’d give this a 4.5/5 only because there were a few moments in the book that I wished were done a bit differently, personally. Not enough to lower to a 4 though, and overall a fantastic read!! Thank you to the author for a great arc book! I’m going to recommend this one a lot!!

I don't have enough words to write for how good this book was! The twists and turns kept me on the edge guessing who the killer was, and I didn't see that ending coming. This book really does have it all, and was brilliantly written. If you like suspense, murder mystery, spice, and twists that keep you guessing, then I highly recommend you pick this book up. I can't wait to read more from this author. Thank you to the author, Ruby, for sending me this ARC! I loved it.

Ha! Well that story took me on an adventure I wasn’t expecting.

Thinking I was going into a why choose and switched identities, it became a murder mystery. Didn’t see that coming.

This story is full of twists and turns and you are left guessing “who done it” for the majority of the book. And just when you think the twists have done twisting, you are thrown into another one.

I had the early release and I loved the epilogue bonus 😉
I loved having a Korean fmc

Almost died till I say it was a standalone

This book had me on edge the entire time. Every single page I was in dread this would be a duet and leave me on a cliff hanger. Halfway through I had to go back to Amazon to check if there was another book after this and thanked my lucky stars when I saw it was a standalone. I don’t think my heart could have taken a cliff hanger. What a freaking awesome book. Absolutely brilliant.

I enjoyed the concept of the book, stealing your twins identity but I wasn’t really a fan of how the mystery side of the story played out. The main thing that bothered me was using “calla lily eyes” to describe their eye color then mentioning how they apparently have purple eyes when calla lilies are known to be white? up until “purple eyes” was literally mentioned I was thinking they had white eyes… also the purple flowers on the cover aren’t even calla lilies

Another New to me Author.

I came across 🖤💜Double Bluff 💜🖤 by Ruby Vincent a week or so ago. I added it to my TBR pile of books. Started it this morning and finished it in about 9 hrs. I couldn’t put it down. It sucked me in from chapter one. The twist just as you think you know what’s up, something else happens and the plot twist sends you off into another direction. 🤦🏼‍♀️
Going to binge a few more of this new to me authors books.📚 🎧📲

What a mind-boggling story. If you think you know what was going on, guess again. It was really interesting and I enjoyed reading it.

Two sisters, twins, one framed by the other. Ten years later, time for the framed sister to come home and say goodbye to her dying mother.

What follows after, will be an up and down story with love, lost, and deception. It's a great story with great characters.

This is probably my favorite Ruby Vincent book to date.
I’ve loved them all, but Double Bluff was exciting, steamy, and had twists I didn’t see coming. (Maybe you will, but I wasn’t even looking for the big twist lol)
I loved the characters and the relationships being built while everyone was fighting their feelings.

Oh wow polt twist

This author is always over to watch, and I've been waiting for this novel to crop! I'm not disappointed, it was so good!
Evil twins, stolen lives, the spice.

I really liked the way these characters are portrayed and the Authors outlook and take on the "my sister's jealous" trope

Such a great book! I loved that it kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat at many points. Great to read a book that’s different and fabulous - to be fair, I like all of Ruby’s books. I feel the characters acted as they should, but I was surprised that they knew… as I didn’t catch any hints to indicate such.

I was on edge for this entire book. Sarah turn out to be smarter then I thought she would be. Instead of being the victim of a psychotic monster, she turns the tables around on the monster.

Vincent out did herself with this book! Outstanding!!!!

Loved!!!!

It was such a different concept...it was fresh and kept me flying through the pages

I was not expecting the twist! I can't really say too much more, or it will give it away, but trust me, you will not want to miss this one.

I'm so happy with the ending. They all deserved it sooo much!

Amazing new book

Wow this book took me on a roller coaster of a ride. I was not expecting all of that to happen. I love Sarah and the boys. This was the best book I’ve read so far this year. I could not put it down.

This book had me on the edge of my seat. I was able to predict some of this book, but the ending had a twist I didn't see coming. I'm one of those annoying people who can predict the ending right away, so this was great.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ruby Vincent is the queen of writing amazing twists and turns in her books. I never ever see it coming, the twists are so well written that they never seem forced and always come so naturally that I question how I never it saw it coming... what a fantastic read!..

This book was unhinged and far fetched yet still entertaining.

Wow this was some story! There is tragedy, drama, murder, theft, and so much more. I was confused several times throughout the book but then some answers would come. I love mystery as I can usually figure out who did it but this one definitely kept me on my toes until the very end. So happy with the ending.

Double Bluff by Ruby Vincent was a bit of a wild read for me. This book brings romance and a whole lot of mystery. I feel like there were so many unexpected twists in this book that I was on my seat the entire time.

I really enjoyed Sarang/Sarah. She has had her struggles over the past ten years and is thrown back into our hometown and family drama. Nothing is what it initially seems and the dynamics between her and the men in this book are all over the place. I don't want to give too many details because I think everyone should go in and experience this wild ride for themselves.

If you want a mystery that is going to keep you guessing until the very end then you need to read this book right away!
