Christmas Romances #4
Rescuing Christmas
So far, Maggie’s morning has been a roller coaster. She’s traversed a rooftop rescue, fended off an attempted setup by a well-meaning grandmother, been roasted by her friends about her love life and found out she has to work on Christmas Day.
As if that wasn’t enough, the newbie joining the 121 firehouse crew turns out to be her ex, who left ten years ago without so much as a goodbye…
What is she doing here? Why did she leave? And why is she back?!
It’s Jacq’s first day at her new job after recently moving back to Pierce. Walking into the station, she’s distracted by the amount of Christmas decorations around the place. It takes her by surprise when she finds out who’s responsible for the festive vibe, and who else is in the crew she’s about to meet. Though to be fair, she’s come back with a surprise of her own in tow, one that might make her homecoming a bit of a bumpy ride…
Rescuing Christmas isn’t just burning fires and old flames. It’s a sweet romantic comedy, with a touch of action and suspense, and all the beloved Christmas Traditions.
There’s dangling damsels, house fires and even Santa stuck in a chimney. A troublesome, meddling, loveable brother. A dinosaur-hunter in the making. Even a nod to a classic Final Destination scene.
With a cast of tight-knit, oddball firefighters and a family filled with humor and heart, who else would you rather spend your festive holidays with?

Thanks to the author for the assistance for rescue personnel!
Yes I have been through firefighting/ first response instructions both military and civilian and know first hand the difficulties of their profession. We, our township lost two people on a house fire and a floor fell with/on them trapping them with no escape. The story! Three ladies and a brother of one them. Two ladies left and only one came back with a little human holding her hand. Now the story as to why, how! Enjoy!

Love, love, loved this one. The sweetest second chance romance. I was routing for them from the very beginning and loved the way the story went. I’d love another book to see how Maggie adapted to family life etc! Brilliant read.

More promise than content
I think this story promised more than what it turned out to. It was cute, though. I always find myself gravitating towards second chance romance, and this was a good example of one. The promise just somehow fizzled out somewhere along the way.

Very enjoyable story of second chances and found family. Even though there was a pretty big cast of characters, it didn't feel like any of them were unnecessary or ignored. So easy to root for Maggie and Jacq and their HEA. I'd enjoy more stories about the 121 Firehouse Family.

helping Hearts
This was a beautiful love story, even though it was many years later. Thank you AJ for a wonderful story about Christmas and love.

This was fine! Almost like it was factually emotional, but the feelings failed to come through the writing. Definitely very cosy though, a nice festive romance.
