Caffeine and chemistry are a volatile combination. Handle with care…and mittens.Sydney survives on sarcasm, caffeine, and sheer stubbornness—because between school and barista life, there’s no room for romance. At least, there wasn’t until a man with a dangerously smooth voice rolls through her drive-thru window and sparks start flying faster than espresso shots.
Cole's the distraction Sydney doesn't need—and the one she can’t stop thinking about. With a wicked grin, and an uncanny talent for throwing her whole shift off balance, he’s calm where she’s chaotic, steady where she’s sharp, and and far too comfortable occupying space in her head…and her heart.
Packed with witty banter, cozy chaos, found family, and holiday heat, Mistletoe & Mischief is a spicy, feel-good Christmas rom-com that builds hotter than a milk steamer left unattended. Sassy, steamy, and stuffed with heart, it’s the kind of holiday romance you’ll devour in one sitting, and immediately crave more of.

ARC review: A cute Christmas inspired romcom, with a meet cute and slow burn romance! The story was sweet and short, and almost felt real - like, it could have happend in real life. I could have used a bit more Christimas feeling, but still scratch the itch.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily - and a thanks to Booksirens for the ARC
Sydney is a barista and full time engineering student who is barely surviving between work and school. After a flirty exchange with customer, the coffee shop begins to take bets on their banter. From there, there are lots of spoilers about who he is and why he comes to the coffee shop once a week.
I really enjoyed the banter between Sydney and Cole. It was the perfect balance of flirty and dismissive considering she was at work and trying to stay professional. The knock knock jokes were absolutely awful and had me groaning every time. The storyline with Amber was cute, but ultimately unnecessary to the plot.
My one gripe with this book was the MCs' lack of communication. You can't even classify the conflict as miscommunication because there is literally no communication at all. Cole just stops talking and disappears for a week or two before showing back up to apologize. Sydney just goes mute and walks around pretending like everything is fine while she's jumping to the worst conclusion in her head. There was very little emotional maturity in this book.
Thank you to BookSirens and Mina Faraway for the free eARC.
A fast-pacer cute holiday read. I absolutely loved the whole barista and handsome funny stranger storyline. Also, all the barista scenes were pretty accurate on what it’s like to work at a coffee shop.
The romance was very cute in the beginning. The only thing keeping me is mainly because of the lack of communication between the MCs. But I get it, we gotta have a plot right?!
