Mating with Monsters

Rate this book
A monster matchmaking agency…
Four dangerously hot monsters…
And the human woman they will protect at all costs.

Camilla Price thought her biggest problem was her insufferably hot, impossible-to-please boss, Damon Roth. That is, until she found out monsters are real—and Damon just happens to be one of them. The worst part? The man who drives her crazy in the office also stars in way too many of her late-night fantasies.
Fed up with her tragic love life (and her very inappropriate crush), Cami turns to The Red Agency—a matchmaking service that promises supernatural results. Literally. But she doesn’t expect to be paired with members of Damon’s estranged clan.
Suddenly, Cami’s caught between four dangerously irresistible a brooding werewolf PI whose already saved her once, a sinfully gorgeous Egyptian billionaire who plays with shadows, a wickedly flirtatious incubus who feeds off her desire like dessert, and her moody boss, whose nickname Devil might be more appropriate than she realizes. Complicated doesn’t even begin to cover it.
But when a stalker starts closing in, Cami’s monstrous men must work together to protect her. And between all the claws, fangs, and smoldering glances, if she’s not careful, she just might lose more than her heart.

Mating with Monsters, Book 2 in the Red Agency Series, is a reverse harem paranormal romance with MF, MFM situations. This is a why choose, HEA, erotic romance where all the attention is on her. This can be read as a standalone but is more fun if read after Book 1.

Crystal Lynn is the wicked alter ego of a mostly normal, well-behaved schoolteacher, who wanted to write stories that her coworkers and relatives—especially her mom—could definitely not know about. Steamy romances filled with all her dirtiest fantasies. Stories about sexy monsters and the amazing, vulnerable women who grow to love them.

Crystal also writes slightly less scandalous fantasy romance under her real name as well. But secretly she might prefer the monsters.

Ten stars! Likeable characters and a detailed storyline made for an awesome read. Author did an amazing job telling these characters story. Lots of twists and turns throughout the book. Emotional well written story. A must read.

I had a genuinely fun time with Mating with Monsters. It’s one of those books you fly through without even noticing, and as someone who loves both monster romance and the why-choose dynamic, it definitely scratched that itch. The pacing is quick, the world is easy to sink into, and it delivers the tropes it promises.

That said, there were a few things I kept wishing for. The biggest one: I wanted more emotional build-up between the characters. Some scenes jump straight into the smut before the relationships have had time to breathe, so the intimacy feels a bit rushed. A handful of quieter moments, talking, bonding, and actual connection, would’ve made the romantic side so much stronger.

My main disappointment was the female main character. I struggled to find any depth in her, and she shows little development throughout the book. Oddly enough, the male characters get small but noticeable growth, while she stays pretty much the same. It left the dynamic feeling uneven, which is a shame because the premise has so much potential.

Overall, I still enjoyed the read, it’s fast, fun, and trope-heavy in the best way, but with more character growth and a slower emotional burn, it could’ve hit even harder.

I genuinely loved this entire book, and no, not just because the smut was off the charts hot. The characters were so well formulated, each so unique but all meshed so well together. There was conflict, resolution, emotion, good writing, and did I say it was so hot?! I have read many books that were 'just smut' and either dnf or 2 star or less rating because I couldn't stand the rest. So trust me, I WILL recommend this book just like I will read the rest of the series. Kudos to the author, your ability to capture real emotion and believable characters as well as make it super dirty was all present. I can't wait to recommend!

After reading Matching With Monsters(Book 1) I knew I was in love with this series! After waiting for forever, lol, I finally learned part 2 was available for reading/review!

Mating With Monsters took place from where book 1 left off! Absolutely adore Cami and this new clan of monsters! Each one so intriguing and hot! lol Cami is one lucky gal, to have caught the heart of not 1 BUT 4, sexy monsters! Each one a different type (no spoilers) and with different abilities that make the spice kick up so much higher!!!

Absolutely recommend this book and series to anyone loving Monster Romance or just starting into reading this genre as you learn about multiple types of monsters in each book! 5/5 ⭐️

I really enjoyed this after reading the first one. I was looking forward to the next book so when I got the email, I started it right away now I always thought that the concept of having a dating agency specifically for monsters was a very awesome idea. I love the fact that it’s a woman who doesn’t have to choose her partners . I like the dynamic in the relationship overall I thought it was a good read. I like that each one of the men in there give her something that she didn’t know that she was missing and I really love that. This one had a bit more drama, then the last one and I loved that she fixed something that was broken in her guys relationship

Mating With Monsters by Crystal Lynn

Aria Quinn has just lost her job and is struggling to find something new when she comes across an ad for The Red Agency. After a few glasses of wine, she works up the courage to apply—and to her surprise, they call her the very next day for an interview.

This story is very steamy with plenty of spice. I loved the characters and how clearly each one was described, making it easy to imagine exactly what they were. I highly recommend this book, especially if you enjoy monster romance.

Standalone in a connected series… you don't HAVE to read book one BUT strongly recommended to be able to follow everything and get back story.

A broken clan of monsters [Incubus (Raif), Demon (Damon), Cursed (Cyrus) & wolf shifter (Teagan)] falls for Cami, a human. She's tough as nails and takes no crap but is slightly commitment-phobic. She has to deal with a stalker but luckily her guys have her back and give her ALL the monster peen to make her feel better ha!

Definitely a must read! 10/10 recommended

Wow! This book is so full of spice that I had to keep cleaning my glasses from the steam. Cami is a wonderful FMC as she is independent, fiery and adventurous. All of her guys, "monsters", are sexy and know just what she needs at any given time. I like that the author added some intrigue with her stalker and the estrangement within the Nefet clan. I can not wait for Lyssa's story. I highly recommend this story to all paranormal romance readers.

Cami thought her boss Damon was irresistible as he was insufferable! But when she has a one night stand with Raif who she learns is part of Damons  estranged clan as a monster everything changes and even more so when she signs up for red angency and finds Raif, Cyrus, Teag and Damon are wanting her, but shes also gained a stalker, will these monsters of men unite to keep her safe! Well written highly steamy, MF/ MFM, a great addition to the series but works stand alone too!

OMG Camilla's life has turned for the better! The sparks and tension between her and her boss, absolutely delicious! But what made it better was that in an attempt to find relief over a crush Camilla runs into one of the most alluring guy! Loved that this is a why choose romance so of course we get more guys for Camilla and they are each so good and treat her like she deserves.

This was soo good! I cannot wait for Lyssa's book. I was worried that it would be too similar to the first book, but it was completely different. I wish there were more scenes between cami and Damon since they've known each other so long, but it didn't take away from the story. Can't wait for the next one!

Such a fun series! I really love the idea of a monster dating agency.

Fantastic characters and a fun story. Very exciting and spicy and the mmc's! They're so different but work so well together.

Especially the shadow daddy!

I enjoyed Mating with Monsters, this was my first novel by Crystal Lynn. After Cami was kidnapped by Monsters she did not want anything to do with them. After an explosive night with a stranger she feels differently..She signs up for a Monter Dating service and finds her future closer than she ever imagined. Thank you Crystal Lynn for the ARC.

This had similar aspects of book one but was so different. Cami's straightforward personality and recognition of her commitment fears really brought out her personality when interacting with her monsters. I enjoyed this and can't wait to read lyssa's experience. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Controlled Chaos
I did do myself a small disservice in not reading the prior books. That being said it ws hard to catch the story line.
Dual genre (2 of my fav) they are all different and approach situations differently. That's why this is a fav theme of mine. Crazy bit of monster chaotic happenings.
I do wish the girl was a bit more... there. She Just seemed odd, no ride or die . ☺️

Thank you to the author for this ARC.
I fear I ate this book up, I devoured the first book and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I loved the chemistry between all the characters, and this book had me giggling and kicking my feet. I need the next one to be out now!!!

Loved this second book in the series. It was so good to catch-up with Ari and her guys but I loved getting to know Cami. She seemed like a put together woman but, as we found out later, she had some bad coping mechanism! But I loved the way her monsters looked after her and cared for her.

Mating with Monsters is a human/monster dynamic where more than one monster forms a clan and finds a compatible human to mate with. They do use a service called the Red Agency that is very much a match making service but for monsters.

So the book was as I expected it to be:

- hot
- fun
- a little on the risque side
- not much depth of story

So, it delivered. And it was a fairly quick and easy read. Nice, but not great! Fun entertaining read!

Good story, great characters and TONS of spice. 😁 The stalkers identity was a total curveball! A little shorter than my usual book preference but still worth the read!

Great book

A great continuation of the series, well paced and well written. A great stand alone, not too angsty, but a uniquely universe and lots of fun to read.

Camilla is frustrated by her love life and ends up at The Red Agency. It's here she meets the MCs who are monsters and finds out that the boss she's been lusting over is part of that monster.

The first part of the book was fun, seeing how their relationship as a RH began. The banter was fun and they had lots of chemistry. I did feel a slight disconnect but I'm not sure what it was from.

There was some action and intense moments but the guys were always there to protect her.
