In the third book, author Angelica Dawson gives us a glimpse of the past where we follow Harrold's story. I hope she does this for all of the characters who live there, as it's a real pleasure to see why they are who they are, and how they came to be at Blue Moon House. I think Gentleman is by far the darkest places we've ever been though. BDSM isn't all dark, but like everything, it does have it's darker side. Miss Dawson intricately weaves the details of Harrold's life until we actually understand why he desires the things he does.

The various subjects she touches on (slavery, bi-sexual discovery, lesbianism, politics, BDSM limits, etc) are all described with enough depth that I feel like I read something far more profound than a kink story. I read something that represented a man's struggle in a historical era to find himself and come to terms with his desires.

I will warn you, the Blue Moon series is very, very erotic. It is not, in any fashion, for those looking for a light spanking story. It will press your limits in a way that makes you crave more even while you struggle to remember your safe word. As always, Angelica Dawson has dazzled me. That's why this is definitely a Must Read!

I loved Harry’s story. You get some MM action with the BDSM. I love that these are short and sweet.

Sleep, my good boy. This is only the beginning. 5 GOLD VAMPIRES

Are you looking forward to it? (I don’t know if he is, but OH am I ever!!) I thought I wouldn't like any others after Jocelyn, but Harold/Harry, being the gentleman he is, had one ABSO-BLOODY-LUTELY completely different story, not just the time & place parts either! I honestly didn't think I would enjoy the ambiguity so much - I am, or rather was in accounting after all, wink - but I actually am enjoying it! In fact, it was only when I was telling someone else about the book that I realized there were "missing" bits - like the precise time & place each one takes place, the human ages, for example - but that is because it honestly isn't important to the story! Obviously it is one of those "back in the day" type of stories, but honestly?! Who cares! The focus is on the characters, their secret desires, their psyche even, as well as the role the Blue Moon House fulfills for these humans and vampires alike! PURE GENIUS, in my opinion! I am so curious about the vampire side, their powers, etc. but I do love the little tidbits that are revealed, which add an air of intrigue, mystery & secrecy further enhancing, enlightening even increasing the pleasure to be found, time & time...& time again! I also find it interesting that even though vampires are at play, literally & figuratively, that the angle of these stories all seem to be the human angle leading to their point of vampirism, rather than having any stories - so far - told from the vampire point of view. I was hoping to get the vampire's take on what goes on behind closed doors too, not only the humans. Don't get me wrong though! These are VAMPIREROTIC stories and very, very much worth the read, if you get my meaning! wink Rather than being a story with extreme heat in it, this is all scalding hot & naughty with a story. A FANGTACULAR story!! I had read book 1 quite a while ago, so I decided to read "the prequels" first, then go back and read book 1 again! What a difference! My curiosity about each person was fulfilled so I could just lay back & enjoy it to its fullest, making experience one most satisfying!! wink Angelica's FANGNOMENAL talent is the very reason this story comes alive!! Her exceptional gift is why & how it becomes about more than the act itself, and more about the reasons, the journey to true self... enlightenment, in ways beyond both Harold/Harry & even Lynn's expectations! A truly, BLOODY good story, fit for a Gentleman... if said Gentleman is exceptionally naughty! Naughty enough to become the very same as the one(s) who gave him that salvation! OH you so gotta read this! wink The books can be read in any way or order you want, as they are technically individual stories, but reading them in order, and ALL of them, will give you the full experience and take you to new FANGASMIC heights… over & over again!

This is an exciting new book in the Blue Moon House series. Meet Harry a man that is chained by his every day life, while looking for sexual gratification that seems to elude his grasp. Follow Harry as he seeks what he is looking for as he finds and learns more than he expected. Walk through the Blue Moon Doors and see if his expectations are meet and filled as I'm sure yours will be.

Incredible erotic hotness, this what I always get from Angelica Dawson, along with an incredible story with twists, turns and amazing character connections. Blue Moon House is a fascinating place to experience. Harrold is an unhappy man in his life, his wife spurns his advances so he seeks comfort in other locations but the regular whorehouses don't provide everything he needs so it's suggested he go to Blue Moon House. Harrold's world expands in ways he never dreamed not just sexually but also in his personal life. This is an amazing blend of crazy, kinky adventures with true human issues and finding your inner bliss.

I read this book bc it was in a boxed set. Definitely has some hot sex scenes, but that's mainly all the book is. There's not really a story line and not much build up of the characters. If you're looking for some hot erotica page after page then this is for you...if you're like me and like a little more substance to your books then I would suggest you pass on this.
