Run.

That’s what Alexandra Langley does when things get hard. She creates distance, and this time an entire ocean felt like the only way to escape the heartbreak Ben Shaw caused. Now she’s back in Bluefield for the first time in seven years, and every memory she tried to outrun comes racing back. Forgetting him was easy when she lived across the world. But being back in the same small town as him? Not a chance.

For seven years, Ben Shaw has lived in survival mode. Devoted single dad. Steadfast son. Reliable brother. A lawyer who puts everyone else first. He carries every title with pride, but somewhere along the way, he lost the part of himself that responsibility didn’t define. Starting over in Bluefield was supposed to be a fresh start for him and his son. But then Alex walks back into his life, and suddenly the past he’s tried to bury of a love he lost is everywhere he turns.

One weekend was all it took for them to build something real, but one choice shattered it all. And now, the spark between them is as undeniable as ever, and far more dangerous. Because what tore them apart all those years ago isn’t finished with them yet, and the ghosts they’ve both tried to forget aren’t ready to let go.

Two broken hearts.

Seven years to move on.

One second chance they might not survive.

Heather Grey's "Painted Sky" is a dramatic small-town single-dad romance featuring a second chance, a cute kid, and a bit of suspense. I enjoyed this book. Ben and Alex had one special weekend together several years ago, only for it to end badly. Alex promptly fled to the UK to cure her broken heart. Now, she's back in Bluefield Beach and seemingly sees Ben at every turn. Ben has kept up with her grandmother, much to her chagrin. He now has a young son and never got to explain that that's the reason why he broke off their connection those many years ago. Now, Alex is Ben's son's teacher at their local elementary school. Alex and Ben have great chemistry with one another despite their insta-love-y beginning. This story is quite emotional, and I easily got invested in Ben and Alex's reconnection and second chance. I could have used a little more tension between Ben and Alex overall, though. I liked the "suspense" element of this story where Ben's son is concerned, despite it being fairly easy to guess what happened. There's quite a bit going on here, and there are a lot of characters (that have likely been from the other books in the series), but since I did not read the other books in the series, I felt a little lost about the dynamics of the other characters. Despite it saying this is a standalone, I definitely feel like I could/would have benefited from reading the other three novels in the series. All in all, a good book, but I suggest you read the other ones in the series for the maximum effect.

Thank you to Heather Grey and Ember Literary PR for the complimentary ARC of this book. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated for this review.

What to expect when reading Painted Sky;
-Single Dad
-Romantic Suspense
-Second Chance
-Small Town
-Chronic Illness Rep
-Close Proximity

This is book four of the Bluefield Beach series! You get to follow Alexandra and Ben! When your heart gets broken what do you do? Well you do what Alex does and take off to the UK. Now it’s seven years later and she’s ready to go back home. Only problem is home isn’t exactly how she left it and she will have to face what she was running from sooner than expected. Ben was devastated when Alex left and now he juggling being a dad, lawyer and life. With Alex back he has to figure out what to do while keeping his son a priority. This story came with sooo many shocking moments, I can’t tell you how many times I said “no freakin way” while reading lol One thing I have loved about this series is when you think you figured out what is going on, she throws in a plot twist and you’re left shocked lol. The pureness of the main characters had to be my favorite part, just two genuine people finding their way back to each other. I couldn’t have asked for a better ending for these two, it melted my heart. If you haven’t read this series you should each one takes you on such a different adventure!

ARC Review:

4 🌟

Painted Sky is one of those second chance romances that sneaks up on you emotionally and leaves your heart aching in the best way. Alex’s return to Bluefield after seven years felt incredibly authentic. You could sense how the past still lingered beneath the surface for both her and Ben, just waiting to resurface.

Ben Shaw absolutely broke my heart 🥺 He’s a devoted single dad who’s spent years simply getting by instead of truly living, always putting others first while quietly holding onto a love he never released. The bond between him and Alex never disappeared, it just sat in the background, heavy with regret, longing, and that fragile hope that maybe love can find its way back when the timing is right.

One of my favorite elements was Alex’s relationship with Noah. The way she connected with Ben’s son felt so natural and sincere, nothing forced, just soft moments, trust forming, and genuine care. Watching Noah open up to her added so much depth and made Ben and Alex’s second chance feel even more meaningful.

This story is tender, nostalgic, and threaded with romantic tension that keeps the emotions simmering. Two wounded hearts, one life-altering weekend, and a love that never truly faded, only paused.

Also, this is the fourth book in the series, and even though I haven’t read the previous ones, I never felt lost. The story was easy to follow and still completely immersive on its own.

Huge thank you to Heather Grey and Ember Literary PR for trusting me with an ARC of this story ♥︎

I have been enjoyed this series, and I loved Ben's story being a second chance romance. Alex as the FMC was great. She was the addition to the girl gang I did not know I needed. Her and Faith's friendship was cute too. AND HER GRANDMA. I honestly was not expecting that and why Ben and Lillian were always talking about her in the previous books and her cookies. The suspense twist I honestly did not expect. Who I thought was the problem, while still a problem, was not the major problem that occurs in their story.

Thank you Heather Grey and Ember Literary PR for the opportunity to read this book. I greatly appreciate it and am looking forward to book 5 in the series :)

Painted Sky by Heather Grey

“To be seen is to be loved.”
“And I can’t lie, today feels like the beginning of forever.”

Painted Sky is one of those second-chance romances that sneaks up on you emotionally and leaves your heart aching in the best way.

Set in the fictional small town of Bluefield, Canada, this fourth installment in the Bluefield Beach series follows Alexandra Langley as she returns home after seven years away once again choosing flight when life becomes overwhelming. Ben Shaw isn’t running; he’s starting over. With his family’s cottage and the promise of a quieter life closer to his sister and friends, the devoted lawyer and single dad hopes Bluefield will offer peace. Instead, it brings him face-to-face with the woman he never truly let go of.

Alex’s return felt incredibly authentic. You can sense how the past lingers beneath the surface for both her and Ben, heavy with regret, longing, and all the things left unsaid. Whatever tore them apart seven years ago isn’t finished with them and this time, their second chance may not survive what’s coming.

Ben Shaw absolutely broke my heart. He’s the kind of single father who has spent years simply getting by instead of truly living always putting others first while quietly holding onto a love he never released. His bond with Alex never disappeared; it just paused. The tension between them simmers through dual POVs and past/present timelines, layering nostalgia with romantic suspense in a way that keeps you emotionally invested.

One of my favorite elements was Alex’s relationship with Noah. The way she connects with Ben’s son feels natural and sincere no forced bonding, just soft moments, slow trust-building, and genuine care. Watching Noah open up to her added so much depth and made Ben and Alex’s second chance feel even more meaningful.

The Crohn’s representation stood out in such a powerful way. It felt authentic, handled with care, and deeply human. That level of attentiveness added emotional weight to the story and made it hit close to home. And the little mention of Elliott Moose? Instant win.

Tropes & Themes You’ll Love:
• Small-town second chance
• Single dad
• Dual POV (past & present)
• Romantic suspense
• Chronic illness representation
• Found family vibes

Even though this is book four in the series, I hadn’t read the previous books and never once felt lost. The story stands strongly on its own while still carrying that comforting “coming home” feeling longtime readers will appreciate.

Tender, nostalgic, and threaded with romantic tension, Painted Sky reminds us that sometimes love doesn’t end it simply waits for the right moment to begin again.

Now I’m really hoping book five gives us Dylan and Faith’s story… because there’s definitely more there.

I’m a huge fan of small town and second chance romances when they are done right. And let me just say Painted Sky ticks all the boxes. It’s filled with emotional growth, the perfect amount of longing, and the absolute best found family! Plus, don’t get me started on that spicy late night phone call scene, I am blushing just thinking about it.

Alex and Ben were torn a part after a short whirlwind romance when Ben finds himself as a new Dad to a baby boy. When Alex learns of his betrayal she flees as quickly as possible. She leaves Bluefield and lives in England for 8 years before she returns home for good. Ben never got the chance to explain his side of the story and she never got to know what actually happened back then.

Once Alex finds herself back in Bluefield she begins teaching at the elementary school and lo and behold Ben’s son Noah is in her class. She immediately forms a bond with him. Ben and Alex keep finding their way back to one another from school, to pickleball and coaching Noah’s soccer team together. You can feel the tension and sense those feelings that had long been buried start to resurface.

“He didn’t just listen when I spoke; he took notes and presented his findings to the class. He saw me. He painted a picture and then displayed my soul in the sky.”

I loved the chemistry between Ben and Alex; it felt so natural and raw. Years may have gone by but their feelings never faded. Ben knew he let Alex get away once before and was determined to not let that happen again. To him, she was his “Sunny” - the girl that brightened his life with her sweet smile and genuine care. Alex is nervous to jump into things with Ben but she knows there is no one else should would rather risk it for again than both him and Noah. She’s all in this time and she’d do anything for both of them.

This story perfectly balances the darkness (Noah’s conception, those were involved and Alex’s unhinged ex who won’t leave her alone) with a lot of laughter and light in the form of Alex’s Grandma, their friends, and little Noah himself. The plot twists and suspense at the end bring everything full circle. I couldn’t put this book down; the emotions absolutely wrecked me in the best way.

A huge thank you to Heather Grey and Ember Literary PR for the early copy!

Every book that is added to the Bluefield Beach series expands on this small, coastal town; the characters who reside in this beautiful place; and the ability to bring people together. Since book 1 in this series, Heather Gray has been a must read author for me. Her writing is full of emotion, making it easy to connect with all of her characters. In Painted Sky she provides us with a second chance romance that breaks your heart and then puts it back together again.

Seven years ago, Alex and Ben shared a magical weekend together. A weekend that ended in heartbreak and Alex running away from said heartbreak. Their story, thankfully, was just starting with a seven year intermission between acts. Present day, Alex is returning to Bluefield Beach and while ready to start fresh, isn’t ready to see Ben. Yet, he is everywhere and ends up being the parent to one of her students.

Ben has done everything he could over the past seven years to live his life to the fullest. While he is a devoted single father and a hardworking lawyer, he hasn’t been able to forget that one night, all those years ago. While living for others, he hasn’t quite lived for himself in some time. When the person he never forgot ends up back in his small town and is his son’s teacher, maybe fate has given them another chance. But there are things left unspoken and truths to be told.

Heather Gray has created a town that wraps you in its warmth and is ready to welcome you back whenever you visit. Within the character’s stories, she never fails to bring Bluefield Beach alive, with vivid imagery, pristine detail, and a community you want to be a part of. Seeing Bluefield through each MCs in each book brings it more to life than before. If you haven’t read any of Heather Gray’s books, I highly encourage you to!

As always, review any author notes before reading.

Book Review : 4.5 ⭐️
Spice Level : 2 🌶️

I want to say Thank you to Heather Grey for trusting me to be apart of her ARC team for this book and Ember Literary PR for the opportunity to get an ARC of this book!

Painted Sky was one of those second chance romances that quietly wrecked me.

Alex running from heartbreak felt painfully real, and returning to Bluefield after seven years trying to live a different life made every buried feeling come rushing back. You could feel how much the past still had its grip on her and on Ben.

Ben Shaw… my heart hurt for him. 🥺
A devoted single dad who’s spent years surviving instead of living, putting everyone else first while carrying a love he never let go of. The connection between Ben and Alex never faded, it just waited. Their story is layered with regret, longing, and that fragile hope that maybe love can still find its way back.

One of my favorite parts of Painted Sky was Alex’s relationship with Noah. The way she connected with Ben’s son felt so natural, gentle, and full of warmth. There was no forcing it, just quiet moments, trust building, and a bond that showed how deeply Alex cares. Seeing Noah let her in added so much heart to the story and made the stakes of Ben and Alex’s second chance feel even more meaningful.

This story is emotional, nostalgic, and layered with romantic suspense that keeps the tension simmering. Two broken hearts, one weekend that changed everything, and a second chance that feels both hopeful and terrifying.
It’s a reminder that some loves don’t end, they just pause, waiting for the right moment to return. 🌅🤍

You know those authors you automatically trust with your heart? Heather Grey is absolutely one of mine, and Painted Sky is another reason why.❤️

We've been waiting for Ben’s story. He's a single dad, fiercely protective, and quietly carrying more than most people see. Finally getting to understand how he and Noah became their own little family...it made me love him even more.

Enter Alexandra Langley, the woman he once loved and never truly forgot. Now she’s back in Bluefield, starting over as a teacher and yes, she just happens to be Noah’s teacher. What are the odds? Pretty dang high for a small town like Bluefield. Is there tension? Immediately. The history? Still very much alive between them. You can feel their connection through every page, and I spent most of this book internally yelling, “JUST KISS ALREADY!”

What I adored most was the mix of tropes: second chance, close proximity, single dad romance with just enough suspense to keep you turning pages and a character who is dealing with a chronic illness.

Alex has a past she tried to outrun, Ben is in full protective mode, and the meddling friends absolutely understood the assignment.😉

There’s heart, healing, a few scary moments, and that beautiful reminder that sometimes love deserves another shot even if it’s years later.

Safe to say Heather Grey remains on my auto-read list, and if you love emotional romances that pull you in and don’t let go, add this one to your TBR immediately 🤍

Painted Sky by Heather Grey

Thank you to Heather Grey and Emberliterarypr for the opportunity to to receive this ARC in exchange for my honest review. Book four of the Bluefield Beach series left me with all the big feelings! Available February 18!

From young love blossoming to the journey of a single parent, I enjoyed this story. I always appreciate a Canadian setting, and the little nuggets throughout the story really emphasized that this is a Canadian small town romance. Along the road with Alex returning to her hometown after 7 years away in the UK, it shows how difficult it is to return to a place after leaving. The place is still there, but not exactly how you remember it since the people who are part of it have changed and grown.

The writing was beautiful and truly captured my attention. I appreciated how the author chose to deal with a number of difficult situations that we as a society don’t often talk about. From a single dad raising a child to male sexual assault, this book went through the healing journey of it all. The suspense throughout the story was excellent and really helped build the tension. The relationships with the characters was something so sweet and innocent, from Alex and Noah to the amazing community surrounding Ben and his son.

If you’re here for the romance, Painted Sky absolutely delivers.

What I loved most about this story was how deeply emotional and intimate the relationship felt. This isn’t just instant sparks and surface-level chemistry — it’s layered, vulnerable, and built on two people learning how to open their hearts again. The connection between them feels earned, not rushed, and that made every moment so much more satisfying.

The tension? So good. The kind that lingers in glances, almost-touches, and conversations loaded with things left unsaid. Heather Grey really leans into the emotional push and pull — the hesitation, the fear, the longing — and it made their journey toward each other feel incredibly real.

I especially appreciated how the romance wasn’t just about attraction (though the chemistry is definitely there 🔥). It’s about trust. Healing. Choosing someone even when it’s scary. Watching their walls slowly come down was one of my favorite parts of the entire book.

By the end, I wasn’t just rooting for them — I was fully invested in their happiness. This is the kind of love story that feels tender, hopeful, and deeply satisfying.

If you love emotional, slow-burn romance with heart and depth, this one is for you. 💛

I went into Painted Sky hoping for a sweet second-chance romance, and overall it delivered. It’s a good, easy read that flows really well and doesn’t take much effort to get into, which I appreciated. Sometimes you just want a story you can settle into without feeling like you have to work for it, and this definitely fit that vibe.

It is a bit of a slow burn, especially in the first half, but I didn’t mind it too much because the second half really picks up and makes it worth it. That’s where the emotions hit harder and the relationship starts to feel more real and engaging.

My biggest issue was the twist toward the end. It felt rushed and didn’t fully make sense to me, like it needed more buildup or explanation to really land. Instead of adding to the story, it kind of pulled me out of it a little.

Overall, I still enjoyed it. It’s a solid contemporary romance with a satisfying emotional payoff, even if the ending didn’t completely stick for me. If you like second-chance love stories and don’t mind a slower start, this one is still worth picking up.

This was one of the sweetest romances I’ve read!

Ben and Alex are so adorable! Loved their chemistry and how they openly they communicated, even after an early miscommunication that kept them apart for seven years. They try to work through everything and thrive to be better together.

Noah completely stole my heart. One of the sweetest kids I’ve ever read about. My heart ached for what he went through, but seeing him heal was so rewarding. The combination of him and Duck made me laugh every time.

This was my first book by this author, and i have to admit, I was a bit hesitant because I hadn't read the rest of the series. However, I never felt lost. Everything was clearly explained, and the writing flowed beautifully. I’m now excited to read the rest, not because I need to, but because I want more of these characters and their love stories. Highly recommend! ^-^

Painted Sky pulled me in from the very first page. I’ve loved my time in Bluefield, and this story was extra emotional with some suspense! It also has two of my favorite tropes - Single Dad and Second Chance Romance!

Alex and Ben’s history is layered with heartbreak, longing, and the kind of unfinished love that never really fades. Watching Alex return to Bluefield after seven years and face everything she ran from was both tender and heartbreaking. Ben’s journey as a devoted single dad trying to rebuild his life added so much depth and made his character especially easy to root for. Then to find out the "whys" - WOW!!

Just when you think you know where the story is going, the suspense element adds another layer that keeps you turning pages.

I loved the small town nostalgia and the nods to Canada. I'm in Texas so I have no first-hand knowledge of any of the Canadian-isms in the book, but I appreciated them just the same.

Now I've got to find time to read the rest of the series because I’m not ready to leave Bluefield yet.

Welcome to Bluefield Beach - where everybody knows somebody and grandma always has a stash of her favourite cookies. I was very lucky to have been chosen for the ARC for painted sky. And I have to say I went on an emotional roller coaster. Alex small town girl breed and raised falls in love- like every other girl in town- with hot lifeguard Ben. A surprise chance at meeting thanks to a blown up toy and the rest is history. Wrong 🤣

Enter in a good and surprising plot twist which brings Alex home to Bluefield Beach and back surprisingly into Ben’s life. With building a relationship to maybe more than just friends, a stalker Ex and more, chronic illness and nosey friends and family, this story will have you wanting to venture more into the life’s of the people who call Bluefield Beach their home.

Just remember to always enjoy the purples in the sunset on a clear night sky 🌌

I loved this book! I don't want to say much about the plot because I don't want to spoil anything, but it is the perfect mix of heart, mystery, and suspense. I loved this take on the second chance romance trope; it was low angst with a lot of mystery and suspense. I typically love angst with second chance romance, but this was a refreshing take where the MCs just let their feelings be what they are. I was truly shocked by the twists in this book! I had a few theories and none of them were correct, I audibly gasped a few times while reading.

Thank you, Heather Grey and Ember Literary PR for the advanced copy of this eBook. This book is a true standalone, I didn't feel lost or confused by not reading the first three books in the series, however, I do look forward to reading the first 3 books in this series.

First, thank you Heather Grey and Ember Literary for the eARC for my honest review.

I have been obsessed with the Bluefield Beach series from the start and I was so looking forward to Ben’s story. I can say this story pulled on all my heart strings. I was trying so hard not to cry so many times while reading this. Alex’s and Ben’s story from the start was beautiful and I loved them together. Their story may have taken a break and they both went through SO MUCH but their love for each other and Noah just continued to grow.

Definitely read if you are in the mood for:
- single dad
- small town
- second chance
- suspense
- found family

And as also, check the content warning

I need Dylan’s story right now 👀

Year ago, Heartbroken, Alexandra runs away and moves to a different country to get away from all the hurt. She’s back now and facing the man that broke her. The only man she’s truly loved. Learning that she never knew the whole story of Why Ben did the things he did brings them closer together again. Ben being a single dad, his first priority is his son. He’s very reluctant to trust that Alexandra won’t run again when things get hard. They both continue to show up for each other though and build up that trust again. But when the shocking truth comes out it might rip them apart again! This was such a great book with fantastic representations of topics that aren’t talked about enough! I truly loved this one🖤

Painted Sky is the fourth story in the Bluefield Beach series. It is my first from this author and won't be the last. It is a very heartwarming, second chance story.

Alex and Ben were in a romance relationship when he finds out he has a little boy. Alex leaves and goes to England for several years. She feels betrayed by Ben. Ben wanted to explain his side but doesn't get the chance.

Alex returns back to town and teaches. Ben's son, Noah, is now in her class. She and Noah quickly get close and form a bond. Ben and Alex get closer and finding their way back to each other. As they get closer their feelings come back.

I loved how Alex and Ben still have such great chemistry even after years of being apart. I loved how good Ben was with Noah. Their story is so emotional. I look forward to the next story from this talented author.

Thank you to the author for an advanced copy for an honest review.

Thank you Heather for allowing me to be on your ARC team for Painted Sky. This is a 4.5 star read for me as it had some unexpected suspense that was really well done and I really enjoyed it. I won’t lie, I did NOT see that coming at the end (you will have to read it to find out!)! Alex and Ben are the definition of first love finding its way back but with a deeper appreciation for the other person and to not take anything for granted. Love all the characters from the first books and I’m already excited for Dylan and Faiths story later this year. Quick read and kept me engaged and interested to basically read it in one day! Well done Heather!

ARC Review - 3.75 stars

This is a cute small town, second chance romance. Two young adults share a magical weekend that starts leading to more when they are separated by betrayal. Seven years later, they find themselves coming back to where it all started and unable to avoid each other.

The characters are likable. I found myself wanting more of their emotions and reactions based on the events that were taking place. There were also a couple of times where I had to go back and reread some things as it didn’t land with my initial read through.

There is some discussion of off-page sexual assault of one of the main characters. Nothing distasteful.

4 stars ⭐️ Alex and Ben get the opportunity of a second chance when they both move back to the small town where they met. Neither knew the other was living there until Ben’s son ends up being a student in Alex’s classroom. This coincidence gives them the chance to meet again as established adults and redevelop their relationship at this current point in life. It forces them to relive what drove them apart and decide if they can work through it and be together. The story isn’t without suspense that stems from Alex’s past relationship in the UK and an unknown person trying to take Ben’s son Noah. A heartfelt, warm, cozy, second chance read with a little steam.

'But I think being seen without love feels pretty great right now. Being seen by someone who is practically a stranger but feels like more is so exciting.'

A small town second chance romance with a twist of suspense. Yes. Sign me up. This is book 4 in a series and I(ofc) read it out of order. I eas able to follow along well, but there are a bazillion characters with thier own hea story that come up throughout. My interest has been peaked and I want to read more.

Alex is a teacher who comes back to her hometown after years of being away. She went away bc of heartbreak from Ben. Ben is a single dad who moved to this small town of his past to raise his son surrounded by friends who became family. They still have feeling for eachother.

This was sweet and a mid to slow burn. The mystery subplot had me guessing like this was a Catherine Cowels book. Everyone was a suspect. Lol. I liked the couple, the kid, and all the nosey friends. The flashbacks were a sweet buildup and I liked that they weren't too long.

I am interested in Faith and what her story will be like. So I will be reading that when it comes.

Overall, I enjoyed the story, it was a quick and easy read, I finished it in one sitting. I will read more from this author.

I received this book as an ARC, but the review is completely independent and reflects my genuine thoughts, feelings, and opinions.

I like how the characters are portrayed and how they evolved from their youth to the present timeline. The FMC and MMC begin as innocent, hopeful individuals, caught in situations and misunderstandings that changed the course of their lives. It’s a poignant reminder of how fragile life can be and how powerful unspoken emotions are. And what's more beautiful is that, they are surrounded with people who matters, support and ground them with all their hearts. Absolutely love the story.

Im thankful to be given the opportunity to read this in advance.

I love a good romantic suspense and the second-chance, single dad of it all was appealing! I appreciated the interesting twist (no spoilers!) and there were some very sweet moments with Alex and Noah especially! Overall I was left wanting a bit more emotion and tension between Alex and Ben, but also interested to go back and learn more about the other characters and their love stories in this series. (Yes, I read book 4 before all the others 😅). Thanks to Ember PR for the chance to read Painted Sky as an ARC! As usual, all opinions are my own. ❤️

This was my first read from Heather Grey and I enjoyed it. It’s a small town second chance romance that sees Alex and Ben rekindle a relationship that ended with a misunderstanding and years of distance. I thought the writing style was good and liked the glimpse of life in a small town in Canada. The author did a great job of bringing me in to the moment and space. The romance between Alex and Ben was sweeter than I prefer (I like a lot more spice in my books) but it didn’t take away from the story at all. It was a good second chance romance with a bit of suspense and a lot of heart.

I LOVED this book, I don’t usually like multiple timeline books but this was SO well written and it didn’t feel like i was getting any unnecessary content. Everything flowed so nicely and it had a plot twist i wasn’t expecting at all. The climax/ conflict wasn’t bad and wasn’t overly dramatic which is something i like, and obviously last for best no third breakup, which im glad for. Overall would totally recommend reading!!!! CHECK TW !!!!

Nothing better than a second chance single dad story. Ben and Alex had a whirlwind of a weekend seven years ago where they made a deep connection in Bluefield. Something happened that sends Alex to the UK with a broken heart. When she comes home, she's surprised to learn Ben has moved to town with his son. They try to stay away from each other but their pull is too strong.
I really enjoyed their chemistry and banter. The friend group is so strong in their love for one another.
