A book of wonderful photos of animals but also a great text with lots of rich detail on how various animals are adapted for survival. Full credit to Runtz for not just featuring birds and mammals in this book. He also focuses on amphibians, reptiles, and insect. Runtz is both a great photographer and a good writer.
