Beautiful. This is exactly what I needed to hear to help me calm down. I'll be implementing the Dua mentioned to reduce overthinking and anxious thoughts: "The next time your mind replays what you cannot fix or fears what you cannot see, place your hand on your heart and whisper: “Hasbi Allah wa ni‘ma al-wakil,” – “Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.” Then breathe. You have done your part. The rest belongs to Allah, and He never fails His servants who trust in Him."

I definitely need an islamic-based therapist to help me sort out my thoughts and help me calm down in moments of high stress, overthinking/ruminating, or in uncertain situations. I think everyone needs a therapist to help sort through and untangle their thoughts if they keep them inside all the time.

I would love to be reminded of the concepts in the book by someone - it really does help. I hope I can be a source of comfort for someone else by teaching them what I learned in this book.

*& If I'm blessed with kids, hopefully they don't inherit the overthinking gene from me (COMT worrier gene) otherwise I fear they'd be running around with little dhikr clickers.*
