Direct, evidence-driven, and refreshingly honest, Get Found is the blueprint for conquering Google without wasting a dollar on ads.
In today’s noisy digital world, most entrepreneurs spend their energy chasing customers through ads, cold outreach, and constant hustling. But the businesses that thrive long-term are the ones customers find on their own.
Get Found is a straightforward, no-fluff guide that empowers entrepreneurs to flip the instead of chasing, start attracting. Learn how to use search engine optimization (SEO) not just as a technical tool, but as a trust-building strategy that makes you the obvious choice in your market. The result? A business that works for you 24/7, even when you close your laptop.
This isn’t another jargon-heavy SEO manual. It’s a practical, plain-English roadmap written by someone who built a seven-figure business from scratch by mastering these exact strategies.
Matt Diamante is the founder of HeyTony, a digital marketing agency helping small businesses and entrepreneurs get found online through SEO and content strategy. Over the past decade, he’s taught more than 30,000 students how to grow their businesses using simple, actionable marketing techniques. When he’s not breaking down Google algorithms or sharing insights with his 500,000+ followers, Matt’s helping clients rank #1 for the keywords that matter most—or hanging out at home in Ontario with his wife, Ali, and their two dogs.
I loved this book, Matt goes on about writing content on the web that's easy to read, skimmable, helpful; and basically the whole book stays true to that concept.
I sat down this afternoon and began the book and in the evening finished the book. As a dyslexic person that's saying something speed wise. but to be transparent, I was able to zip through most of the first half as i was more familiar with that content, while the latter half made me slow down a little more to take note of certain things and tab some useful spots.
over all a great introduction and solid foundation in seo; having implemented some writing over the last couple of months I about halved my climb to the top from 30 to 15.
it starts with the basics and dives deeper. a light read. tool recommendations. and QR codes linking to explanatory supplementary videos for step by step walk throughs- of which I have not checkout, but pretty cool.
I’ve grown my business solely through social video up to this point.
I’ve always known that SEO was kind of important but never took the time to implement (spoiler: wait until you read about Matt’s OWN experience with SEO in his business!).
Matt’s book lays it out in such a linear fashion that I feel VERY ready to go an implement the ‘sum of the parts’ into my business.
I’ve taken a screenshot of my current website ranking (is less than zero possible?!)….and now I’m looking forward to consistently staying the path until I start to rank.
Final note: I also love that Matt manages expectations with real world examples throughout the book. Given that SEO is a long game, its great that he’s done this in case you feel like ‘what am I doing wrong..it’s not working!’.
Overall it was a good book. A little bit surface level and basic, but I think I expected that going in. Matt really does a great job at explaining SEO concepts and the basics. I’ve been watching his content for a few years so a lot of the book was just reformatted versions of his social posts. But he also talks about the importance hitting customers from different platforms and formats so he does practice what he preaches really well. Good read for a struggling business owner or someone ready to take their business serious online.
If you’re an entrepreneur, running a business and want to learn how to get your site or business more leads but don’t know where to start, this book is for you. It’s an easy read with lots of real life examples that can get you started.
