Rotted took the story in such an exciting direction! It steps away from the cozy setup of the first book and dives straight into a darker, more intense mystery that keeps you guessing.
​The highlight for me was watching the relationships between the characters evolve under pressure. The banter is still great, but the emotional stakes feel much higher this time around, and the world-building expands in ways I didn’t expect.
​It’s a quick, gripping read that answers some big questions while leaving just enough mystery to make you want book three immediately. A super fun, satisfying sequel!

The world came into full view here! The politics, the betrayals, the magic! Elle Boyer has outdone herself with this one! I am in awe of the characters and story and will be impatiently waiting for the next in the series!
