Vengeance has wings. Fate has fangs. But love may be the greatest weapon of all.
I thought my path was set, bonded to Zephyros and united with Vaylen Stormsong. But as the Queen of Dragons awakens, I’m forced into a choice that shatters my world. Tahranis Flarebane claims I’m the prophesied Omneira, the master of all elements. Now, King Craven wants the unthinkable of me, the Sky Order brands me a traitor, and Vaylen—the man I love more than life itself—looks at me with nothing but hatred.
To end a thousand-year war, I’ve broken every sacred bond. But as my memories return, I realize I’m a pawn in a game far more dangerous than I imagined. The Screechclaws and the dragons harbor secrets that could destroy us all. To save Embernia, I must embrace a power that terrifies me while I fight for a love already lost. The truth will either forge us anew. Or destroy us all.

This was a really solid finale and honestly just reminded me why Ingrid Seymour is an automatic-read author for me now. I really liked where this story went, especially that ending. It wrapped things up in a satisfying way, but still left just enough open where I’d 100% come back to this world.
This was doing a lot emotionally worth our characters. Rhealyn really steps into her issues here, dealing with love, loss, betrayal, and violation, and honestly this felt like her best book. Vaylen’s trust issues and the pressure of trying to save literally everyone hit hard too. And Zephyros, I felt his arc came full circle and it just worked for me.
Pacing stayed strong the whole way through. Never really dragged and kept me locked in.
The worldbuilding and magic also keep expanding in cool ways. I did think the magic started going off the rails, but found it's way back in a satisfying way.
Overall, this finale took the trilogy from “good” to “yeah, I’d absolutely recommend this.”
What a fantastic conclusion to the series, especially after the cliffhanger from book two. The twists were refreshing and new! I loved how the time spent under the mountain and the 1000 year old mystery were revealed. I love Zephyros. He is one of my favorite dragons! The emotions evoked from the inevitable solution, lightened by the new beginning was perfectly done. I am so grateful to have been part of the ARC Team.
I received an ARC copy from the author. All opinions are my own.
Ivory Fangs Radiant Soul was a breathtaking and emotionally devastating conclusion to Ingrid Seymour’s Wings of Embernia trilogy. This series has been building toward something massive from the very beginning, and I am thrilled to say this finale delivers on every single level: dragons, prophecy, betrayal, heartbreak, war, elemental magic, devastating romantic tension, and twists that kept me in a tailspin!
Picking up directly after the chaos of Silver Claws Crimson Tears, Rhaelyn is now caught between destiny, war, and the people she loves most. With the Dragon Queen awakened, ancient truths resurfacing, and the kingdom on the brink of destruction, Rhea is forced to confront who she truly is, what memories can be trusted, and how much she’s willing to sacrifice for peace. Meanwhile, the divide growing between her and Vaylen becomes almost unbearable as love, loyalty, and betrayal collide in the most painful ways possible.
The tension between Rhea and Vaylen was actual torture because all I wanted was for them to find their way back to each other. Watching the man she loves look at her like she’s the enemy while she’s carrying the weight of prophecy, war, and the fate of Embernia on her shoulders HURT. Every interaction between them was layered with heartbreak, anger, longing, and mistrust, and Ingrid Seymour absolutely weaponized every ounce of emotional tension.
And yet somehow, even with all of that emotional devastation, the pacing never slows down. Every single chapter ends with another reveal, another twist, or another piece of history being uncovered that completely changes your understanding of the world. I never wanted to put it down because I just had to know what was happening next.
The lore surrounding the dragons and the history of Embernia itself continued to be the strongest part of the narrative. As someone who reads a LOT of fantasy, it gets harder and harder to find stories that make familiar tropes feel fresh, but this series genuinely surprised me. The mythology surrounding the dragons, the Screechclaws, the Omneira prophecy, and the distorted history of the land felt layered, original, and incredibly immersive. Every revelation made the world feel bigger, darker, and far more morally complex than it first appeared.
This trilogy truly just kept getting better with every installment. The stakes grew higher, the emotional damage got worse, the worldbuilding expanded beautifully, and the twists never stopped coming. If you love romantasy filled with dragons, riders, elemental magic, prophecies, fated bonds, devastating angst, high-stakes romance, and stories where love and betrayal constantly collide, you absolutely need to pick up the Wings of Embernia series.
A Breathtaking, Heart-Wrenching Conclusion to an Unforgettable Trilogy!
This book is the end of a trilogy I deeply loved, and it delivered everything I could have hoped for and more.
It is absolutely packed with so many of my favorite tropes:
🐉 Dragons
💘 He falls first
💪 A fiercely strong FMC (Female Main Character)
🏠 Found family
The world-building by Ingrid Seymour is just beautiful, making it incredibly easy to vividly imagine the rich world of Embernia. She made me fall completely for Valen as well as Rhealyn. Their journey in this final installment brought me to tears, frustration, and absolute joy. Between the intricate story, the depth of the plots, and the sudden moments of surprise that catch you entirely off guard, I found myself literally gasping out loud.
“This isn’t an ending at all, it’s just the beginning.”
I loved every single minute of it. In fact, I had to savor it until the very last day of my ARC deadline because I just could not bring myself to say goodbye to these characters I’ve grown so fond of over the duration of these three books.
It has been an amazing ride—a story that grasped my heart and took flight with the might of the dragons. Now that it's over, it leaves me to write this review... so what more can I say other than this is a total 5-star recommendation?
Why you need to add this to your TBR:
If you love:
Dark fantasy & intricate world-building
Dragons and riders
A tragic love story wrapped in betrayal, politics, and schemes
Heartbreaking, emotional moments
...then go add this to your TBR right now. I promise you won't regret it. I sure didn't. The only thing I truly regret is that this beautiful story has come to an end.
This series continues to emotionally destroy me in the best way possible because the amount of angst, betrayal, and heartbreak packed into this story was INSANE. From the very beginning, the tone felt so much darker and heavier, and I honestly could not stop reading because every chapter ended with another reveal that completely shifted everything I thought I knew.
The whole “love turning into hatred” dynamic between the FMC and Vaylen absolutely wrecked me. Watching someone she loves look at her like she’s the enemy while she’s carrying the weight of prophecy, war, and literally the fate of the kingdom on her shoulders made every interaction hurt even more. The emotional tension in this book was honestly just as intense as the action scenes.
I also loved how much bigger the world started feeling in this installment. The dragons, the Screechclaws, the prophecy, the returning memories… everything felt layered in a way that made the story feel massive and dangerous. Every new piece of information raised the stakes even more and I was constantly questioning who could actually be trusted.
One thing this author does really well is making the main character feel overwhelmed without making her weak. You can feel the fear, grief, and pressure crushing her while she’s still trying to fight for everyone around her, and that emotional weight carried the entire story for me.
If you love romantasy filled with dragons, prophecies, elemental magic, devastating emotional conflict, and high-stakes romance where love and betrayal are constantly colliding, this series absolutely delivers.
Thank you to the author for an e-arc of this series finale!
After the cliffhanger and plot twist at the end of book 2, I was worried (and intrigued) where we were going to go from here.
After coming back from missing for a year and having no memories of that time, Rhaelyn ends book 2 not only getting her memories back but leaving with a mysterious man she’s spent the past year with, as well as the Dragon Queen, who has awoken.
Plans are in motion to destroy the Screechclaws and end the war once and for all. The Goddess is back and will save them all. But things don’t seem to add up and Rhaelyn’s betrayal of Vaelyn and all their friends of what she’s been hiding makes her feel even more isolated than before. And as she starts digging into her own memories, she starts to second guess what she’s truly willing to do and give up for power and peace, if that’s even what they’re truly striving for.
I loved books 1&2. I didn’t love but didn’t hate book 3 here. This book and honestly series is one where I love the MMC WAY more than I ever did the FMC. Everything Vaelyn goes through this book is so heartbreaking and for once, it’s the FMC you kind of want to strangle lol 😂
But while this is Rhaelyn and Vaelyn’s story in view, at the heart of this series is the dragons’ stories. Millennium of memories have been distorted and forgotten and only by getting their own history back, can peace truly become possible.
Spice wise 🌶️, we still had a few scenes. I’ve read a few different series by Ingrid and I found this to be her spiciest series that I have read.
Ingrid Seymour had me losing my freaking mind! Is it okay to say that I was dreading and anticipating this book in equal measure? I wanted to know how the story ends, but I knew it was going to be brutal. I am not the one for destructive epic romances. I'm not built for it. Be prepared. The heartbreak between Rhea and Vaylen was devastating. I pretty much held my breath for the entire book, just waiting for the next thing. This book brought out so many big emotions. I was wrecked.
Rhea has always been my girl, and I couldn't help but sympathize with her even more in this one. There are only so many lies, secrets, and revelations one can take before you start to question everyone. Rhea was on a hard road, trying her best to do what's right for Embernia, for the dragons, and everyone in between; it wasn't easy. Then there's Vaylen, who is so utterly heartbroken that he ripped my heart out. I could feel his pain rippling off the page. I wanted to hug both of them.
What an amazing plot. The twists and turns were incredible. Seymour had me on edge the entire time. There were layers upon layers of shocking revelations. Things I didn't even imagine. The ending was a little bittersweet but still good. I'm trauma-bonded now; I'm going to miss these characters. Ivory Fangs Radiant Soul was epic! Truly, a must-read.
The third book in this series is an epic conclusion to the whole story. After the shocking departure of Rhealyn with Tahranis at the end of book 2, we now follow her to Emberton, to the interactions with the king, uncovering many secrets, facing hatred and contempt of her former comrades, and to her raising suspicions about Tahr. Vaylen, with his broken heart, tries to harden himself, but it is not easy, and after being wounded and taken away, he is challenged in all his views of the world. Dismantling the tight web of lies is now crucial for the survival of Embernia, it's dragons, and every living soul, because evil and arrogance are so close to win... Phew, this was a whirlwind. Emotional, sensational, dramatic. It was everything I expected, and much much more. Rhea and Vaylen have been through so much, the burden on their shoulders immense, yet their characters both shown their strengths in the most crucial moments. None of them is perfect. None of them is ideal. Every character has flaws and weaknesses, which makes it very realistic, but their mistakes are teaching them valuable lessons and in the end, their compassion, love, and reliable enough moral compass brings the much needed peace. I absolutely loved the series!
- Conclusion to series - Fantasy romance - Dragons
I have been looking forward to this book ever since I finished Silver Claws Crimson Tears. The cliffhanger left me begging for more. And, boy, does the author deliver!
This book cannot be read as a standalone, so please make sure to read the other books in this series (they are amazing!). This story picks up right where book 2 ends.
Without spoiling anything, I will tell you that you will be mad for most of the book. But trust the author!!
Now that Heratrix has awakened, Rhealyn hopes that all that she has endured will be worth it. With the disdain she sees from all who she knew before, Rhea has to hold onto the thought of the greater good. Until she starts to have doubts about the stories she has been told....
My heart was breaking for all of the events that kept Vaelyn and Rhealyn apart. The twists in the story were absolutely amazing and things are not always what they seemed....
What a ride from start to finish. This story delivers a true adventure, carried by a couple you can’t help but root for. Vaylen and Reah are put through constant trials as they fight to save Embernia, and the ups and downs of their journey keep you fully invested.
What really stands out is the emotional weight. The devastation hits hard, but it never feels pointless—it pushes the characters to grow in ways that feel real and earned. Watching them struggle, change, and keep going adds depth to the action and raises the stakes throughout.
The pacing keeps things moving, while still giving space for those emotional moments to land. By the end, it feels like you’ve been through something alongside them.
An epic read with heart, tension, and strong character growth. Definitely one that sticks with you after the last page.
Wow! I did not see half of the twists in this last book coming! I'm still reeling from the Heratrix revelations, the weaver angles, the screechclaws, the Craven angles, I couldn't keep up! And it all came together to make a beautiful and VERY satisfying end to this series, I am very, very happy with it! A 5-star read, the action, intrigue, and surprises don't stop until the very last page. The characters draw you in and you feel as much a part of the story as Rhea and Vaylen are. Get ready to shed a few tears, cuss a few times and absolutely be flabbergasted a bit! A page turner I'd recommend anyone who enjoys supernatural dragon stories with court intrigue and bittersweet romance. Sensational!!!
I received an ARC of this book from the author. All opinions are my own.
I'm new to Ingrid's books this year, this is my 3rd book having read the 2 that precede this one. The world building is brilliant & the story progresses at a really good pace, picking up where book 2 left off. I was pulled straight back into the world she had created. This book took me on an emotional journey, the way Rhea struggled with her choices, how Vaylen had to rebuild himself, how Zephyros realised his missing memories, not to mention the changes in the screechclaws behaviour. You can see why Weavers were so feared, how power corrupts, but also how lovely transcends all.
We dive right back into this incredible world as we pick up from where we left off and make our way to the end of this fantastic journey! The author pulls us back in with twists and turns to keep us spinning, with the action, the trials, the struggles, the emotions and so much more. The world building has been and continues to captivate, the storyline is gripping and enthralling and our characters, well we have followed them through fire and watched them grow and develop as secrets are revealed and storylines bought to a close. It’s been one hell of a ride that I have enjoyed from start to finish and I will miss this world very much!
This book has twists and turns around every corner all of the way to the very end. I love this book. It has dragons, riders, elementals, mindweavers, and fated mates. When a power hungry mind weaver meets a power hungry dragon the hell they unleash on the land almost destroys it. The fate of the land rests on two people that have been turned against each other and a species that all have seen as a threat. Only when the truth is revealed does old wounds start to heal. I definitely recommend reading this book. It will definitely not disappoint. I give it a 15/10.
This was a fantastic conclusion to this romantasy series. This started right after that cliffhanger ending of the previous book and it did not slow down. Fast paced with twists and turns, mysteries revealed, and so many heartbreaking emotional moments, I couldn't put it down. I love how this story flowed and the ending was very satisfying. Highly recommend this series. I received an arc of this book and all opinions are my own.
Such a good story. After ending on the cliffhanger, this book picks right up where book 2 ended. There was so much emotion in this book and the action was nonstop. All of Rhea’s relationships were put to the test, the one with Vaylen probably the most of all. My favorite character has got to be Zephyros, grumpy dragons are always welcome when I’m reading. I love the fact that the book had some great plot twists and had me guessing to figure out the truth.
Thank you to the author for the arc of this book! This book is well written. I have not read the first 2 books of this series but I didn’t feel lost in this book at all. This book has dragons, magic, deception, conflict and love! I really enjoyed reading this book and lol forward to reading more from this author!
Man there is so much going on in this book that will have you screaming come on. Rhea and Vaylen have you also being like can we get a break. Things I thought I knew may have been right new revolutions appeared and we learn so much about Emborian history. I enjoyed this story so much that it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Great series
This book was a riot to read and had me glued to the end. So many twists and surprise that entertained me and had me feeling for everyone. But learned a lot along the way. The drama and intrigue made the story amazing too along with the characters. I love Rhea and she was amazing as always. So much fun to read and had to see how it would end.
Ivory fangs, the title is so unrelated, I will hardly remember I've read it. Saying that this was a quick, fast paced read. Very easy to read. Lots of twists. I found it easy to recall what happened in the first book although some of the characters, sky riders, i had forgotten & it took me a while to place them. I read the first book a while ago. Enjoyed this author.
Wow, Rhea and Vaylen's story keeps you on your toes. Action, suspense, lies and truths and so much more. The Queen of Dragons has returned with Tahranis riding her. They keep telling Rhea she is the Omneira, but is she? Who will she pick Tahr or Vaylen? Who's side in the end will she pick? What will Vaylen do when he sees her siding with Tahr? Is she siding with him or is there more to it?
Thank you for the ARC! This book was the perfect ending for this trilogy. The heart, anger, sadness, and joy is all there and you feel them all. Vaylen and Rhea are exactly what this world needed even when it didn't know it.
I cannot believe this is the FINAL BOOK 😭 I will mourn the loss of not reading this series for the first time. Rhea and Vaylen my babies , this series is a MUST READ but be careful you will get attached❤️
I absolutely LOVED this final book of the series! Rhea is flawed to perfection! I was both angry with her, and for her. The unraveling of lies and secrets in Embernia and its characters was done to perfection, and kept me on the edge of my seat!
Great ending to a great series. I love a morally grey female, i love that she alone was not the only powerful one. The ending made me sad for the dragons but it fit well. I always enjoy Ingrids works :)
This books was an amazing this continuation and culmination of Rhea and Valyons story. I loved the plot twists as every time I thought I had it figured out, it was like nope try again 😅. Its emotional, adventurous, with just enough spice to keep things interesting. This series it 👌 👏 🙌 😍.
I did not finish this book. I read about 8 chapters and jumped to the end to see what happened. I did not like the way the previous book ended nor did I like the storyline of this book.
Non stop page turning action. Heartbreak, love, joy and sadness. Absolutely beautiful story. I felt the pain of betrayal and the start of healing following.
