This starts by introducing Kent Griswald, movie executive and thoroughly nasty man. Then we meet his much nicer brother Connor and are surprised when Connor is the one who becomes a shooting victim.

However it isn't long before Kent is the one who ends up dead. You feel like saying 'serves him right!'

It all becomes more interesting with the arrival of the investigating team of Detectives Walter Scott and Vanessa Weinstein and then gets a little hot with the interaction between Detective Scott and witness Cadence.

This is a real page turner - can Scott keep Cadence safe plus can he keep his mind on the case and not on her body? Who is really the killer?

This is an excellent murder mystery, well written with lots of suspense and the right amount of romantic sexual tension. Plus I love the humour throughout. Add to all that some great characters and you have a recipe for a very good book, well worthy of five stars

"Undiscovered" by Dellani Oakes is classic and raunchy erotic suspense set in the movie business. It starts out extremely well by making you really dislike the murder victim, Kent, an annoying movie producer. I was almost applauding at his gruesome end. But his murder is not the only crime.
Enter the investigating team Detectives Walter Scott and Vanessa Weinstein and some excellent and steamy chemistry between hot eye-witness Candace Stuart and detective Scott and already you have a lot going on that fleshes out the investigation. Action, foul language and the interesting setting of film production push the plot along nicely as the truth behind the murder is eventually discovered.
I found the characters very life-like, the romantic parts well done and the suspense strong. Fans of the genre won't be disappointed with this.

Dellani Oakes is back with another romantic suspense and she brings it with Undiscovered. The story begins with a hot shot movie producer nearly gunned down on a Daytona beach in broad daylight. Despite the assassin’s attempt to stay concealed, he is spotted by a witness, Cadence Stuart. Fearing for his witness’s life, Detective Scott has to do what he can to keep her alive until the killer(s) can be found.

However things get complicated when he falls desperately in love/lust with Cadence. Things get even more sticky when his partner and ex, Vanessa Weinstein, is also assigned the case. As volatile at the situation seems, it’s the perfect solution, Vanessa, with the help of Scott’s friends, keep him in check while they all do their best to protect their only witness. As the killer closes in, secrets are revealed and the case is blown wide open when a photo reveals more about the identity of the perp.

Undiscovered is a romance novel filled with just the right amount of suspense, humor and strong characters for a discerning reader. Dellani Oakes does a magnificent job of taking us through a dangerous and often times thrilling, Daytona Beach. If you like your cops and robbers hot then this is the book for you!
