People always say, better the devil you know…but that’s me. And, apparently I just so happen to be one of the good guys now.

Or am I?

It’s really quite the conundrum. The one man destined to take down heaven is…waffling. But wouldn’t you be if you were in my situation?

I’m in love, and I don’t care who knows it.

But that also means, I have to clean up the mess I made. If we’re splitting hairs, I didn’t make the mess, but at the end of the apocalypse, it is my antichrist I’d been trying for.

Unfortunately, finding my mate means doing whatever I can to keep her, and if the world ends, I don’t think that’s an option.

So…betrayal it is.

What can I say? Turns out, I’m nothing if not consistent.

For fans of Supernatural and American Horror Story, USA Today bestselling authors Meg Anne and K. Loraine are thrilled to bring you the final installment in the Mate Games Universe.

The Mate Apocalypse is a spicy paranormal series featuring morally gray heroes whose methods of protection aren't always above board. Not that you can expect much honor from a celibate recluse, an incubus rockstar, the original shadow daddy, and a grumpy ex-Spartan. They are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, after all.

4.5! This was the perfect t way to wrap up the Apocalypse series! Plots thicken, unexpected alliances form, reunions happen, many many extra curricular activities happen 👀🥵 and it was overall just such a good time! Lucifer and Pan are hands down my favorite characters bc I love a snarky man with an accent that is obsessed with himself and these two are perfect! BIG thank you to Meg and Kim for sending me the ALC for this!

“Love should never be measured by its length. Only its depth.

What a ride.

I’ve been a big fan of mate games from the very beginning I’m pretty sure obsession was the start of many people learning they had a priest kink.

It’s been a rollercoaster since the very first page and now it’s coming to an end. Well for this generation anyways.

This whole series has been amazing, one of the best series I’ve read ever. I do suggest before starting the apocalypse series that you do go back and make your way through the rest because it will make so much more sense and this is the last stand for all our heirs and their mates. I loved the chapters we got from earlier characters, it’s always nice to get those little reminders of our favorite past characters.

For this series we focused on Merri and her mates, the four horseman of the apocalypse and the devil himself.
In this specific book we have all the mates under the same roof and let’s just say it’s a lot.
Merri Learns about her past, strengthens the bonds with her mates and gets a crash course on how to control her magic.
Lucifer is still on the outside and doesn’t necessarily help himself, with his sarcasm and sass. He was like an overexcited puppy, he wanted someone to call him a good boy, give him rubs well everywhere and love him.
My man death or Grim as he likes to be called finally gets to touch or be touched by someone without killing them. The poor guy was super touch starved.
Sin is as always sinfully delicious, showing us all that incubus or not the man knows how to love.
War or better known as chaos, he always kind of reminds me of a caveman beating on his chest but in a seriously hot way. I actually love his grumpy and dominant nature.
Lastly we have pestilence or as he likes to be called Malice, he really opened up in this last book. The hurt he had suffered made him build walls so high I had doubted he would ever let anyone in but Merri bulldozed her way through and showed him not everyone would hurt him. I especially loved his meeting with his son and can I just say, whoever came up with the idea to name him pandemic was brilliant!

I did almost throw my kindle through a wall with the last battle ending but the authors made up for it with the extended epilogue where we got a glimpse of all the heirs, their harems and their babies and the happily ever after they fought so hard for. 😈

Can’t wait to see what these authors do next!

**Audiobook Review**

Well… we’ve made it to the end and I’m nowhere close to this series being over! “Lucifer” is a thrilling, steamy and action packed conclusion to “The Mate Games: Apocalypse”.

Picking up right where book four left off, Merri and the four horsemen are trying to figure out how to stop the Apocalypse from happening. And they have an unexpected fifth person fighting for Merri’s attention, Lucifer, the legend himself. Lucifer for all these years has been getting a bad rep and doesn’t want the apocalypse to happen just as much as Merri and the horsemen. Merri is now his mate and bonded to him and he will use his old ways to get what he wants.

I have been a huge fan of the series since the first installment and I have loved the world that Meg Anne and K. Loraine have crafted. It’s intense, steamy and keeps you hooked from the first word until the very end. I loved Merri and had grown so much throughout the series. Her confidence went through the roof as worked on herself and with the help of her mates, she became one of my favorites. Each of the four horsemen were fantastic and swoony in their own ways. I grew attached to each of them for their uniqueness but I must admit, Lucifer snuck his way in there for me just like he did for Merri. He’s a sly angel but will fight for his mate and what is actually right. I loved the steamy scenes that each guy had and ones that they all participated together in to make sure Merri was taken care of properly. I loved having appearances from the past characters and how they played a part in making sure the apocalypse didn’t happen. They all worked together and the chapter where they all hung out and just were being friends. The series was spectacular and ended perfectly.

This all star cast was amazing and brought the story alive perfectly. Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, Shane East, J.F. Harding, James Joseph, Teddy Hamilton, Samantha Brentmoor and Aaron Shedlock all nailed their characters and each was the perfect choice to bring this fantastic story to life.

I took my time with this one because, sadly, it's the final book. I procrastinated as long as I could, but then I just couldn't put it down. Like the entire series!

First off, having the entire gang in one room is epic! These ladies know banter. Amidst the apocalypse, they managed to find a way to ease the tension, make you laugh, then tear out your heart and make you cry in two sentences or less!

Lucifer is by far my favorite this time around. He's sassy, funny, what you see is what you get kind of guy. Yet, he has so many layers to him, and when you really sit down and think about it, ya the poor guy pretty much gets the blame for everything. One can certainly understand where he's coming from. Seeing him vulnerable does something to you. It pulls at your heartstrings in ways you never expected to feel for the devil himself. After all, he just wants to feel loved, just like everyone deserves. Even when he switches sides for good, he still has to battle that outcast mentality because let's face it, he did do centuries of bad things. Even Merri has a hard time loving him right away, and you can see just how much that actually hurts him, and you can't help but want to reach out and hug him.

As for our four horsemen, SWOON! They will forever live their sexy behinds rent-free in a luxury condo in my head! (I'mma pretend I'm Merri and just roll with it for a looooooong time!) haha

This was the perfect ending to this series. It's action-packed, hilarious at moments, sad in others, spicy af (I mean succubus), and you, as the reader, end up completely enthralled along the way. It breaks my heart to say goodbye to this amazing cast of characters. I'm glad I got a little closure, though. Maybe if we all team up against Meg and Kim, we can convince them to keep going! Just for a little while longer! Haha, just kidding, no, not really. PLEASE JUST ONE MORE!

The audiobook for The Mate Games: Apocalypse – Lucifer was absolute chaos in the best possible way, and I genuinely cannot believe this journey is over. I’ve been invested in The Mate Games since day one, and being part of the promo team from the very beginning has been such an honor. Watching this world grow, evolve, and completely consume all of us over the years has been an unforgettable experience.

Lucifer was everything I hoped for and somehow even more. The stakes felt massive, the emotions were devastating, and every relationship hit with the full force of everything these characters have survived together. The narration was phenomenal across the board — every performance brought so much life, tension, heartbreak, humor, and heat to the story that I honestly couldn’t stop listening. And apparently still can’t, because I had to listen to Lucifer FOUR times already.

What makes this series so special is how perfectly it balances apocalyptic fantasy chaos with deep emotional connections and character growth. Beneath all the danger, banter, and spice is a story about loyalty, family, sacrifice, and love in every form. This final book felt like saying goodbye to people I’ve lived alongside for years, which made finishing it incredibly bittersweet.

Thank you, Kim Loraine and Meg Anne, for this incredible journey, these unforgettable characters, and a series that completely owned my soul from beginning to end. The Mate Games has been one hell of a ride, and Lucifer was the perfect finale.

Even with all the heartbreak of reaching the end, I’m already looking forward to whatever journey awaits us next in the MGU.😘

I was simultaneously excited and sad to see this story come to an end, but all good things must! Lucifer gives us the concluding chapter of The Mate Games, but don't worry, the world may be ending, but you will laugh and swoon as it does. Never fear, though, the heroes are triumphant in the end!

If you are looking for a book with well-developed characters, sexy banter, laugh-out-loud (loudly) moments, and steamy scenes that will set your ears/eyes on fire, look no further than Lucifer. The gang is all here, with every major character from all four series within The Mate Games coming together (some more than others!). Working together, they take on the Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse. Given how slippery those four are, it's not surprising there are more than a few plot twists! Everything you've come to expect from a KimAnne book is here: amazing storytelling, witty dialogue, and unforgettable characters. I cannot wait to see what these two create next!

If you haven't read the other books in the series, you will definitely want to start there. You will be very lost and confused, all while hellmouths are opening around you, if you try to jump into this one if you haven't read the rest of the series. While you can read The Mate Games: Apocalypse on its own, you will get more enjoyment out of it if you have the preceding three series (War, Pestilence, and Death).

I listened to the audiobook version of this book. Meg Anne and Kim never disappoint with their audios, and this one is no exception. Stella Hunter, Samantha Brentmoor, Shane East, JF Harding, James Joseph, Aaron Shedlock, and Jason Clarke deliver amazing performances, especially given the number and variety of characters they portray in this single audio. Hats off to all of them! Phenomenal acting and a joy to listen to.

MMCs: Sin, Chaos, Malice, Grim and Lucifer
FMC: Merri

Full cast and glorious!
(Stella Hunter, Shane East, Jason Clarke, JF Harding, James Joseph, Teddy Hamilton, Aaron Shedlock, and Laura Landa) This is absolutely AMAZING, phenomenal and just pure FIRE! I honestly think this might be the best yet.
This series is part of the Mate Games universe, and I recommend reading the 3 other series (War, Pestilence, and Death) first to fully understand what is happening and the connections between the characters.

While this wasn’t a bad series… it was not my favorite sadly. I was kinda disappointed honestly. I thought some of the others were a little better than this one. It just didn’t hit as hard for me especially being the last series to round it out. The plot-line had so much potential and it was there but I felt the delivery fell a little flat. I also didn’t really care for Merri much as the FMC.. (I preferred Sunday or even Rosie over her) This book had more character development along with more emotional content between each MMC and the FMC. Now she has a fifth mate. Hmmm. I’m not sure if I liked this part. I guess maybe it was alright adding Luc as a mate but I’m just up in the air. Of course, there was ALOT more POVs added in this book. We had POVs from each character in the other series (especially the children of the horse-women). It was a very interesting ending and I’m glad to see the problem was handled (only for twenty years) I’m very curious about the next series which I’m going to guess contains the children (cough cough Eden & the others). I am curious to see where that goes.

I finished Lucifer in 24 hours, and for the twentieth book in a twenty book series, that says everything.

Meg Anne and K. Lorraine have spent this entire series building characters so well developed that even reading with my eye holes, I could hear every single one of them. No ear holes required. That is not easy to pull off. Their choice in narrators in previous installments and excellent character development have done it though.

This is a high stakes, action packed finale, and it delivers. The stakes feel real because the investment is real. By this point in the series you are not just reading, you are showing up for people you know. All the people we know show up for this finale.

What I have loved across all twenty books is that women are not peripheral to this story. They are central to it, consistently, from start to finish. That is a choice the authors made early and held to, and I love it.

The series as a whole is funny, fast paced, and inclusive, pulling from mythology, Christianity, and the usual fantasy suspects, including vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness, while finding ways to put its own spin on all of it. And in the end, stopping the apocalypse turns out to be a team effort. Good and evil have to work together, which is honestly the most interesting story.

I can't wait to listen to this story when it's out on Audible so Hades can literally say anything to me and I can revisit my other favorite characters Asher, Remi, Kingston, and Sin.

All twenty are going on my shelf. No question.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Lucifer by Meg Anne and Kim Loraine. Narrated by Stella Hunter, Shane East, JF Harding, Jason Clarke, James Joseph, Teddy Hamilton, and Aaron Shedlock.

This is it. It's over. The Mate Games have officially ended with this book and I couldn’t feel more sad. It's been a journey that I have loved getting to experience and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

The conclusion of this series is just as exciting as you think it would be. It brings mythology, horsemen and women, adventure, and of course spice to your earholes.

When it comes to The Mate Games, you know that the audio is top notch! When you have narrators that include Jason Clarke, Aaron Shedlock, Stella Hunter, JF Harding, and James Joseph, you can expect to be completely satisfied in all the ways!

“People always say, better the devil you know…but that’s me. And, apparently I just so happen to be one of the good guys now.

Or am I?

It’s really quite the conundrum. The one man destined to take down heaven is…waffling. But wouldn’t you be if you were in my situation?

Thank you so much Meg Anne and Kim Loraine for letting me ALC review this one. I hope to be able to stay on and be a part of the next phase.

I read this as slow as I possibly could because I don’t want this series to end. The universe that Meg Anne and Kim Lorraine created is honestly one of the best universes I have ever delved into. These two authors know how to combine their worlds and mesh them together so perfectly it was magic in itself.
I have been following this series for the last few years, so it is bittersweet to have to say goodbye, or is it goodbye? We get to see all of our characters brought back - including Sunday and her guys, Rosie and her men, and of course, Dalia and her mates. Merri and her horsemen plus “Luc” is some of the spiciest work I have read to date. But what do you expect when you have the most powerful succubus of all time in a mate circle. We also get Lilith and Crombie and meet some new angels.
The Mate Games has an overarching plot throughout each of the different books series, and to see the culmination and resolution in the apocalypse series was absolutely incredible. The absolute best part of the series, though was the epilogue hinting at a possible return to Ravenscroft following our favorite heirs children.
Don’t even get me started on how good the audio is. I did an immersion read. This is full cast, and these narrators are unbelievably talented.
If you have not had the opportunity to check out the mate games, I would start with the book obsession and work your way through the next 19 books. I can honestly say this is one of my favorite universes of all time. There were some good plot twists and turns and I shed more than a few tears. This is an absolute must must must must must read.

Hell YES! Lucifer by K. Loraine and Meg Anne was a wild, heart-stopping, spicy why-choose paranormal romance that enraptured my heart in all the best ways. I couldn’t get enough of Merri, Sin, Chaos, Malice, and Grim’s epic conclusion. This Mate Games Apocalypse series and the entire Mate Games will forever have a special place in my heart.

Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, Shane East, JF Harding, James Joseph, and Aaron Shedlock, along with a full supporting cast, perform this stellar audiobook in duet-style narration. This cast is absolute fire, delivering every steamy, tension-filled, heart-rending moment that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Stella’s performance of Merri is alluring and passionate, giving you all the good chills, while Jason, Shane, JF, and James each gave their own horseman a protectively fierce voice to show Merri their undying devotion. Aaron’s performance as Lucifer was witty, and I smiled every time I heard even more of my favorite narrator’s voices in this audiobook. It is an amazing immersive experience!

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a paranormal why-choose romance with a feisty red-headed succubus, four dedicated horsemen, a fallen angel with a change of heart, dream walks, dangerous horsewomen, pixie encounters, blood spells, magical weapons, all the spice, love declarations, saving the world, epic battle scenes, and finally, a long-awaited soul satisfying HEA, then you will love conclusion to Merri’s story. I always look forward to more from K. Loraine and Meg Anne.

Audio Review:

Listening to this book just felt so bittersweet because while I absolutely loved it, I was also sad that it’s the end of not only this installment but the Mate Games series as a whole. I started Mate Games series on a recommendation from a friend and read Mate Games: War in less than a week. Then I was lucky enough to be able to get ALCs for Pestilence, Death, and Apocalypse. Without fail, every time a new one would drop into my email I was doing a happy dance and immediately downloading the audio, and Lucifer was no different.

I listened to this in less than a day and loved every single second of it. Just like every other book in this world, Lucifer is action packed, fast paced, funny, and all consuming to the very end. Add in the fact that we get to see all of the characters from the other series and I was as happy as a kid in a candy store.

I always know what to expect when I get an audiobook from K. Loraine and Meg Anne, and that’s phenomenal narration by everyone involved. Stella Hunter, Shane East, JF Harding, Jason Clarke, James Joseph, Teddy Hamilton, and Aaron Sherlock absolutely knocked it out of the park. The way they are always able to bring these characters to life and make them feel so real is why they are some of my favorite narrators.

I’m sad that this series is ending but I’m also more than happy with the way it ended, and I’m looking forward to what we get next from these authors.

This story is filled with so many delicious twists and turns, bringing The Mate Games saga to a close in fantastically epic fashion. Lucifer takes center stage this time around, and his bond with Merri comes as quite a shock to everyone, most of all himself. The four horsemen aren’t exactly excited about it, but they will do anything for Merri. Luc definitely has the most adjusting to do, given that it will change his life in every way. It turns out that love really does change everything – not only does it make the world go ‘round, it also makes it worth saving. And it takes every child of the horsewomen, all of their mates and friends, and even a few angels to make that happen. It was so much fun to see every unique, wonderful character from the entire series assembled and united together like this. It made me smile each time a familiar character appeared and stepped right back into action.

The narration by this incredibly talented all-star cast is one of my all-time favorites. Each voice actor expertly portrayed multiple characters, and I was excited when I immediately recognized another beloved voice. The audiobook elevates the suspense, heightens the sultriness, and enhances the witty banter all the more. It is truly a tour de force and should not be missed! Meg Anne and K. Loraine have given us a wild ride in The Mate Games series, and I have loved every single exciting, intriguing, suspenseful, spicy, funny moment of it!

Vindicated and emotional and feral all at once 😭🔥🖤

I KNEW IT. I knew Lucifer was a hidden mate. I knew he was Cole. I knew the best friend wasn’t real and was a horsewoman. I CALLED IT and I need everyone to know that because I will be dining on this forever. 👀💅

The audacity of this series to make me root for Lucifer. The AUDACITY. And yet here I am, fully invested in the devil’s redemption arc, genuinely emotional about it, zero regrets. Meg Anne and K. Loraine said what if the villain was also a secret good guy who is just a little bit in love and absolutely waffling about the apocalypse and I said okay fine you win. 😤🖤

Why can’t Merri have nice things?! She has been through SO much across five books and I just need her to catch a break and also apparently so does Lucifer because the man is betraying his entire cosmic purpose for love and honestly same. 😭

The series build up paid off. Everything that was being set up across all five books lands. The HEA everyone deserved was delivered and I will not be taking criticism at this time. Tied up with a bow, emotionally satisfying, worth every single unhinged hour. 🎧✨

Four stars for the finale. Five stars for the series as a whole experience. Meg Anne and K. Loraine I was not expecting to feel this way about the four horsemen of the apocalypse and a succubus and yet. 🫠

🖤 Called the plot twists and was vindicated? ABSOLUTELY ✅
💀 Lucifer’s redemption arc hitting harder than expected? Criminal ✅
😭 HEA that was fully earned? Fortunately also ✅

I was so lucky to receive this book as an arc from the authors directly in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to both you amazing, talented Authors.

It's been one hell of a ride to get to this book. Im pretty sure there were 20 books for The Mate Games total. And I have ate every word up. The authors know what they are doing. So there was no doubt going into Lucifer that it would be the book to end all. The wrap up to stopping the apocalypse. I loved having all the characters back from all four harems plus some extras. This book kept me on my toes for sure and made me smile getting all the gang together. If you have read the other books then I highly recommend reading this the day it comes out. As soon as I received my arc I put aside the other books I was reading and jumped right into this book and had it finished in two days. That is how good it was truly. I couldn't put it down. If you haven't read the Mate Games yet...what are you doing?! Go start it immediately. There are 20 books so be sure to Google the correct order. You won't regret it. Thank you for such an amazing journey ladies! I cant not wait for the next adventure to start.

By the way the audiobook is pure perfection as well. I listened to it as I read the along in ebook and I dont regret it at all. It's a full cast

I’ve been so excited to read this book since I realised that there was another after Grim… I pretty much binged my way through all four series and I cannot recommend it enough as a process! They are all completely binge-worthy in their own right and I’ve absolutely loved all of the stories… which makes what I’m about to say a little contradictory.

I felt like Lucifer got the fuzzy end of the lollipop story wise. I guess it’s a tricky balance for the authors because this is essentially a book that ties all four story threads together and you only have so many pages to do that in. I wish we’d been able to see a little deeper into Lucifer’s arc - it just felt a bit rushed and shallow, and that felt like a loss. On the flip side, I loved the way some of the other supporting characters got to shine a little - we saw more of Lilith and Crombie, Asshole got to go full beast mode, and Evander gets a sexy little tease towards the end.

All in all, the Mate Games got its happy ending and it was a nice conclusion to all the stories.

It's been a long time coming. Four series, 16 books, and I've been there since the beginning. The Mate Games was a wild ride. Kim and Meg have made me like the devil. Lucifer has grown on me; I can't believe it. He's dropped some of the crazy, but still has his dramatic flair, and he truly does love Merri. His antics, along with everyone else's (and ridiculous conversations), had me cracking up. The biggest improvement was Merri. She is finally starting to take charge of her life instead of letting people dictate, and I love that for her.

The story was great. The Hades Society is right in the thick of it. It was not a stop action. There is just something about scavenger hunts and dangerous trials that really pulls me in. In this one, the span of the world and the teams are made up of people I never would have put together. The twists and turns were good. The way the story concluded was in a way I never would have guessed. It was extremely satisfying. Lucifer was a great read and a perfect ending to the series. While I can't believe it's over, I am excited to see what comes next in the Mate Games universe. It's the second generation's turn.

I can’t believe The Mate Games is really over. I’ve been obsessed since the beginning, and this finale delivered everything I wanted and so much more. Lucifer felt like saying goodbye to characters I’ve survived pure chaos with, and I was absolutely not ready.

Kim and Meg once again nailed that perfect mix of apocalyptic madness, magic, hilarious banter, delicious spice, and deep emotional heart. Merri, Sin, Chaos, Malice, and Grim came together with the rest of the series cast for one last, world ending fight, and seeing all those relationships and loyalties collide was incredible.

This book had all my favorite Mate Games elements—epic battles, magic, emotional angst and unwavering love. The world building, the humor, the character growth… it all hit perfectly. I laughed, I cried, and I devoured every page.

I’m sad to say goodbye to this world, but this finale was everything: emotional, chaotic, spicy, and completely satisfying. The perfect send off to a series I’ll never forget.

My heart breaks that after this entire journey, we are finally here at the finale of The Mate Games. I've been here since book 1. Loving each story as its own tale and the entire overarching storyline. Here, finally, we get not just Merri's finale, but also Sunday's, Rosie's and Dahlia's. It is bittersweet but let me tell you, this is the end for real this time and boy is it a ride! Lucifer sure has shaken up the whole thing and he is definitely the problem child mate (hello Kingston, Remi, Pan and Sin, sorry, he kinda takes the man child cake here) but the way he melts for Merri? And keeps her other mates at the top of their game? Totally, absolutely, exactly what Merri needs and deserves. Talk about character growth, this girl has really done the hard yards through her entire storyline. Gone is the virgin succubus afraid of her own power, here finally is a woman confident in herself and her sexuality. I love her. I love the multi POV's we get in this book, from all of our beloved characters. Well done ladies, this is absolute perfection!

Operation P.U.F.F.I.N comes to a close.
In this final book we see Merri complete her harem of men. Lucifier and the 4 horsemen have to learn to adapt for the woman they love. Lucifer's elitist, sarcastic, "pick me" attitude was a nice break from the over serious horsemen. Except for Sin, we know he's a sex fueled comedian.
This book was a fast read for me because there was a lot of action going on. There were various side quests with a combination of the main characters and the rest of the series' characters. You were kept in suspense wondering who would live or die while on these quests.

I always love the way the authors inject perfectly timed humor keep me laughing out loud amidst the seriousness that is occurring.

I have enjoyed reading these books, and it looks like we are getting the next generation's series as well. I absolutely can't wait to see what else they develop in this world.
Meg Anne and K. Lorraine will always be a "must read" for me.

I have been eagerly anticipating this book’s release and went into it with huge expectations. It was a very good read and did a solid job of tying up the entire series, but at times everything felt a little too neatly wrapped up. With so many books, storylines, and returning characters to bring together, I can imagine how difficult that must have been, yet some parts still felt a bit rushed.
Even so, it was absolutely worth the read, and overall I’m happy with how everything turned out. This is definitely not a standalone, though. You really need to start from the very beginning to fully appreciate the story and the characters. I originally discovered the series through Haunting Beauty, fell completely in love with it, and immediately went back to read them all.
I’m sad to see the series come to an end, but I’m excited to see what the authors write next.
I received one of the coveted ARCs and these are my own thoughts.

After a 20 BOOK journey - we finally got to the end of the Mate Games with Lucifer. As a series finisher - this was exactly what we wanted...it was action packed, we get to visit and see views from favorites from other inter connected series (Rosie, Pan, Asher, Sunday, etc) & we get to see good & evil come together.

As an inter-connected series finisher ... I think the Epilogue was lacking a little ... HOWEVER the teaser after the end of the book, makes me think we haven't seen the end of our favorites.

Man Lucifer stole the show with his world ending (or not) finale book for the series. If you like yearning, redemption, good boys, villains who love hard, crazy adventures and the reuniting of every cast of characters we have loved in the mate games books that came before.... Then this is the book for you! At first I got a bit lost amongst all the characters and felt disconnected from our main harem, but seeing Sunday and Dahlia and Rosie and their men again in such active roles in this book ended up being pretty epic. I'm sad to see this world end but it was an incredible set of series that I'll always be grateful was written.

The Mate Games series is officially over and I don’t know what to do with myself 😭. This finale brought the high stakes, action-packed chaos I was hoping for. I remember Merri being introduced in the Death series and being so excited to see her story continue in Apocalypse.

Paranormal why choose + a succubus + the Four Horsemen = basically my perfect combination. Add in banter, epic battles, and a well-earned HEA, and this was such a satisfying ending to an incredible series. Definitely emotional saying goodbye to these characters.

But with that sneaky last chapter I’m excited to see what Meg and Kelly bring us next!

Absolutely brilliant! This book went above and beyond. It was everything I had hoped for and so much more. This ending to The Mate Games series was freaking fantastic! I could not put this book down. Merri and her mates, along with all the others from the Mate Games series, came together to end the apocalypse. Seeing all of the dynamics together, everyone working towards a common goal, and the life long loves and friendships made was awesome to see. And seeing those horsewomen finally meet their ends... hallelujah 🙌🏻. Kim and Meg, per usual, blew me away with this book. This dynamic duo certainly knows how to write an epic, captivating story.

What. A. Journey. If you're reading this book you're coming to the close of an epic multi-part series, and it's a banger of an ending. My mind is blown. I love how Meg and Kim tied up this part of The Mate Games world. There's an epic battle, some angst, a lot of spice, and fantastic banter. Everything I've come to love and expect from a Meg Anne and K. Loraine book!

Lucifer's book has countless cameos from characters in the three series prior to Apocalypse. It was so fun listening to them all make an appearance and play a part in battling against the end of the world. This cast is truly phenomenal. If you haven't listened to it, definitely give it a try. Book one in The Mate Games, Obsession, was my first ever multi-cast audiobook and this series has only been battling with itself for what I consider to be the best audio I've personally listened to.

I may have to just...start back at the beginning and listen to them all over again. This one is definitely not a standalone! You could read this final series alone since it's technically a new mated group but...why spoil the ending when you could experience the journey from the start?

Absolutely loved the ending to the mate games. I laughed, cried and whooped🫶🏼 I really enjoyed how the ending of this story was finished out!

I have been obsessed with the mate games since the beginning, I love interconnected series where you see previous characters throughout the whole world.

The world building, comedy within banter, the spice, and the character development was great. I do wish there was a little more of Lucifer and his development but all in all I feel this was a good ending to the series.

Wow just wow. This was the conclusion I needed. I love everything and I do mean EVERYTHING about this series and this entire universe.

Mary and her horseman plus Lucifer were EVERYTHING. This conclusion was perfect. I absolutely LOVED the crossover with all the other characters and the way they wove their stories together.

I don’t want to spoil anything but this whole world is absolute perfection.

the sneak peak at the end of the audio I SCREAMED I’m soooooo excited about what’s next! I cannot freaking wait!

I was lucky enough to receive the ALC and ARC of this book. These series and universe is amazing. Definitely recommend listening to it when possible. The narrators elevate these amazing books to a whole new level. Even with this being the last book in this series it was fun, exciting and attention holding start to finish. Loved seeing all the characters come together for one last adventure. Can’t wait to see what is next for this universe and to anyone just starting out enjoy the ride!!!!

Having all of the characters finally come together in this book was such a fun and thrilling read. I could barely put it down for work.
