He was just following orders. That’s what a good rebel does, right?

Even when the command is so vile it may strip away the last of his soul.

Bee knows taking a dragon from her bonded rider is wrong; he feels the agony ripping her apart with every mile. But where to hide a dragon?

The last place he should go when he’s doubting is the sea. His birthplace, the place he swore he’d never return.

But it’s the place his feet take him.

Will Bee face his past and triumph?

His choice will shape more than he knows.

Bee's Tail is an Empire of Ash and Song novella, YA Fantasy with the undersea adventure vibes of Atlantis, the faith themes of Chronicles of Narnia, and the epic vibes of How to Train your Dragon!

Oh. My. Goodness. Y’all. I wasn’t ready 😳. The emotions and feelings I felt in this (according to kindle) 74 pages were very unexpected and now I feel all warm and fuzzy 🥰 Highly recommend the entire series, and the reading order is needed (otherwise you’ll wonder why he has a dragon)

Dorothy is a mastermind when it comes to crafting beautiful stories with deep themes and vivid descriptions. This entire novella was so fun, so lovely, and so heartwarming. The faith themes are incredibly powerful, and overall this was just such a good novella. :) easy 5 stars

Bee’s Tail was a fun and quick read! It’s a novella for the Empire of Ash and Song series, and added some extra lore that was cool to read. While I love the mer-people concept, I also love the theme of doubting being enough and listening to the lies people have told you. For any fan of this series, this is a must read!
