The Debt That Binds Us

Rate this book
I never believed in fate.
Until he showed me how merciless it can be.

I wanted to be free.
To forget.
To finally breathe.
But freedom always comes with a price.

When I see him again — the man with the dark eyes and the dangerous calm — I know I was never meant to find him.
A deal.
A debt.
A line that should never have been crossed.
I thought I knew what I was sacrificing.
But he takes more than I was ever willing to give — and leaves marks that will never fade.

This is not a love story.
It’s the story of losing yourself while trying to be saved.
Of how pain turns into desire.
And how some chains can taste sweeter than freedom.

The debt that binds us is a dark mafia romance of forbidden desire, power games, and dangerous devotion — where guilt, possession, and the illusion of redemption entwine.

Could not get into this book
Some spoilers..

I tried to read this book it's started off very distasteful she's an 18 year old virgin who offers herself to pay for her dad's debts he's 34 years old. He does not force her but he takes her up on the offer. The age in the power Gap is kind of disgusting. She calls him Mr Gonzalez during the sex scenes. He has sex with her and then leaves the motel room saying my only interest was sex evidently he likes . He told her to take the morning after pill. The MMC is really a jerk. He got mad because he thought she was flirting with another guy and he said I shouldn't have been gentle with you I should have taking you so hard like a w**** and then you'd have to put ice on yourself when you get home the dialogue dialogue is weird and robotic. Example you still want me she asked a lot he answers. When he finds out she's pregnant he wants her to get rid of the baby or ship her away and never see her or the child again. I really dislike this book I didn't even scroll through it to see how it ended. I would not recommend it.

The is bad… the writing is not good she calls him “her male” at one point. Just odd wording I couldn’t through it and it’s a new release and this isn’t the authors first book. Yikes. Very amateur writing

So Confused

The MMC and his older brother were both named Dante, and it was just so confusing. I only got as far as the 8th chapter before I just couldn't keep up.
