Ariana Cane is the queen of sizzling slow-burn romances that blend heart-pounding chemistry. A die-hard Disney fan, she sprinkles a touch of magic into her stories, keeping readers hooked as her characters navigate their way to happily-ever-after. 💖

Forget insta-love—Ariana’s all about crafting damaged alpha heroes with layers of depth and complications that unravel like a perfectly plotted fairy tale. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her dreaming up new ways to torture her characters (and readers!) with a cup of decaf coffee or striding the Disney parks because it’s her happy place.

Writing about herself in the third person? Let’s just say it’s as tricky as convincing her characters to kiss and make up before the final chapter. 📚

This book had so much tension from the first meeting of the MCs that I was immediately pulled in and captivated by their story. Ariana Cana’s The Wrong Brother is book 2 in her The Wrongs series. Ariana proves her writing talent in this book as our MCs fight their feelings and play an epic game of “will they or won’t they” throughout the story. A definite slow burn, but one that keeps you wanting more and more.

Bea and Noah have more reasons to stay apart than they can count, but as they spend time together those reasons become less and less important. Bea is tired of her parent’s world and is determined to make it on her own. Landing a job with a boss who goes through assistants faster than you can blink, she continuously proves herself again and again. Noah is surprised by her tenacity, always having his back, and not caving quickly like all the others. And while there is a definite attraction between the two they fight it tooth and nail. Until one day, a situation has both their jealous sides coming out.

Both Bea and Noah have insecurities that keep them fully opening up to people. Every interaction between these two had me hoping for more. Ariana is masterful at keeping readers on the edge of their seats with the interactions between these two. As the story progresses, you see each MC learning what real love and true loyalty looks like. Bea needed to know she was worth loving and Noah needed someone who was able to see the real him.

While the payout of this book definitely takes its time coming to a boil, it is worth the read. Ariana made me laugh and swoon. The book is high stakes, some angst, but ends in the best way possible!

As always, review any author notes before reading.

When the wrong people meet at the right time… chaos, chemistry, and a whole lot of slow-burn tension follow.

Beatrice Wrong never meant to fall for her fiancé’s brother. But from the moment she tripped into Noah King’s world, it was pure disaster, the delicious, enemies-to-lovers kind.

Leaving her parents and their fake world behind, looking for a job, Bea ends up working for him, the only man she swore she couldn’t stand. Noah goes through assistants like popcorn, but Bea is different. She’s steady, loyal, and stands by him when no one else does. And that shakes him more than he’d ever admit. But she’s off-limits. All wrong for him. So he tries to forget her the only way he knows how… until one jealous strike pushes them both over the edge, and suddenly, there’s no going back.

I loved them both, but they were each caught up in their own insecurities. I loved him even when he was being mean, and I loved her from the very start: strong, hurt by the parents who were supposed to protect her, never really knowing what love was. As for him, nobody ever truly understood him. They all saw the big bad wolf no one could handle, when in truth, he just needed someone to see him.

The story starts strong, funny, and full of that addictive push and pull. But around the middle, it slows down, with too much talk and not enough action. The tension fades a bit before it comes roaring back in the last part of the book, finally giving us the passion and payoff we were waiting for.

The ending is warm, joyful, and worth the wait. The Wrong Brother might not be packed with suspense, but it’s charming, emotional, and beautifully written; a true slow burn that finishes strong.

Thank you to Ariana Cane & Luna Literary Management for the ARC.

ARC REVIEW

A slow burn, enemies to lovers that starts off with some really good banter and cute nicknames. The FMC, Bea, is such a spirited person with a strong personality & work ethic that challenges Noah. The MMC, Noah, is cut from the same personality cloth as Bea. Noah and Bea being quite alike makes for some great banter and chemistry throughout the book. I think all the events that happen with these two at work are comedic gold. The tension between Noah and Bea is felt throughout the whole book with their outlook on forbidden love. I personally that Bea proves Noah completely wrong with his outlook of her being a spoiled rich girl playing his assistant job. Bea is the kind of character that you keep rooting for with every unrealistic timeline that Noah sets. We also have all these different emotions throughout the story between the contrast of Bea and Noah's lives. While Noah lives his nice rich life, Bea abandoned her rich family to make a name for herself living in a tiny apartment that we can afford. We get glimpses of Noah's "secret" life and how Bea handles it with compassion and care. I think the cherry on top is Noah finally realizing that Bea was living in that tiny apartment and barely affording to eat. Nothing screams tortured artist like wanting to feed the woman he is secretly falling in love with. This is super SLOW BURN but when the F it moment hits, the spice is toe curling in the best way. I do have to mention the supporting characters in this story that add humor and interest. Overall, a great slow burn, enemies to lovers, workplace romance, "forbidden" attraction (at first), grumpy/sunshine read that is filled with banter, tension, and SO MUCH CHEMISTRY!

Beatrice Wrong has just found herself in quite the predicament, she just fell head over heals for the wrong brother. The moment she stumbled in Noah King's world she knew it was a world she never wanted to leave... no matter how difficult and irritating he can be!

The Wrong Brother is a slow burn romance that will torture you in all the best ways! The "will they-won't they" game is serious in this one, just when I thought they'd give in and get to the good stuff they'd find another reason not too. These two battled one another at every turn. They may have been secretly attracted to one another right off the bat, but it took a while for the rest of it to fall into place. There were so many reasons why they should steer clear of one another, but none of that seem to matter once they discovered just how good they were together. It was such a beautiful and touching fall!

I really enjoyed this first time read, I had read some of the reviews beforehand and everyone raved about this books predecessor, so I was quite excited to dive in... and I think it is safe to say this one will garner the same enthusiasm. It's pages held a story that made me laugh and smile, sigh and swoon, and tear up from it's emotional bits...it was such a wonderful introduction to this author. I look forward to reading more of her books and meeting more of her charming characters! Highly recommend!!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

Thank you to Ariana Cane and Luna Literary Management for the opportunity to read this fun story.

The tension and fire between Beatrice and Noah was palpable from the moment they were on the page together. The way they challenged and danced around each other had me giggling and letting out frustrated sighs in equal measures. Even when they were “enemies” they accepted each other as they were and became each other's safe space. I loved their dynamic!

The Wrong Brother by Ariana Cane
5/5 stars actually all of the stars

As soon as I finished the Wrong Sister, I was so excited for this book and it did not disappoint. I loved seeing all the characters from the first book and new ones as well!

Bea! I loved her before getting to know her and even more now that I've gotten to know you better! I loved her relationship with Maeve and how their relationship as siblings mirrors E and Noah.

Noah! This man!!!! Just like Bea, he was a favorite from the first book and his relationship with Ezra is one of the relationships that I admired. Him and Bea have all the chemistry from the first page to the last.

Another hit book from Ariana Cane. I loved how AC writes complex relationships and balances humor, steam, and emotion. Can we please have more of this universe because I am not ready to let go of them yet?

Catch this book out on Nov.13!

A huge thank you to @arianacaneauthor and @lunaliteracy.management for an eARC copy for the review.

He calls her “little mouse”, and she calls him “caveman”. My heart melts.

Oh man, they were so fun to read and have a great laugh with. Ariana did a flawless story where slow burn was burning, and I needed that tension to just evaporate. The story did a number on me. I love it. I am obsessed with it. Beatrice was such an amazing FMC that you will not be able to resist and love. There were so many emotions involved, and with Bea and Noah, it was always something or the other, but Bea managed to get everything on track, and without saying anything, she understood all of it.

Noah was good but difficult, and how Bea handled him was commendable. If I were there, then I would have given him a piece of my mind. I loved his mom a lot, I think that was the realising point for everyone, and it hit the right points in my heart to just say ‘awwwwww’. And we get Ezra & Maeve again, cherry on top of the cake types. It was great to see them back, and Martin was an added bonus in the fun element. Can I get his story, too? I think I need it.

It’s a 4.5⭐️ for me.

𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 – Ariana Cane provides the caliber of intelligence and competence I want all main characters to have. I can’t stand stories that have immature and aloof FMC. This book does justice for all FMC. Thank you for writing strong, competent and intelligent women. This story started with a perfect enemies to lover’s set up and the transition happened so smoothly it was almost coy. And this sentence deserves a standing ovation - “And when you find her, don’t do the whole ‘I need you’ speech. She wants to hear ‘I see you.’ Say sorry like it’s a sentence, not a preamble.” HELL YES.

𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬 – This is very clearly not the first book in this series. While it can be understood as a standalone, there’s still a lot of references to what I’m assuming happened in book one and it would probably make a lot more sense having that information.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 – I loved everything about this book and I’m intrigued enough to go back and read book one! I will definitely also be adding the rest of Ariana Cane’s works to my TBR!

Get ready for the other Wrong sister. The Wrong Brother follows Beatrice Wrong and Noah King’s explosive connection that started in Tahiti and followed them back to the big city as she takes a job as his assistant. There’s a bit of chaos, an insane amount of tension, and their banter is also so sassy and snarky as they try to get under each other’s skin…I love it. With great characters, a nice pace, sizzling chemistry, and plenty of heart fluttering moments that happen throughout this slow burn, I didn’t want to put it down 🤭

Noah King is brooding, tall, and talented architect who’s hated Beatrice Wrong the moment she tripped over his luggage. The feeling is mutual. Needing a job she takes one no one else seems to survive, being Noah’s assistant. Beatrice is tiny, mighty, and a little scary at times with her fiery attitude that draws Noah in making him want what he knows he shouldn’t have. As things progress their hate sparks something else that’s on the verge of consuming them entirely 🫠🔥

Thank you so much Ariana Cane & Luna Literary for this ARC 🫶🏻

4.4 ⭐

Okay, so this book truly fed my messy little heart in the best way. Wrong people, right timing? Yeah… the chaos was delicious. Bea and Noah are basically magnets refusing to admit they’re magnets, and I ate up every second of it.

Bea walking away from her perfectly curated but painfully fake life, only to end up working for the one man she absolutely shouldn’t fall for? Peak rom-com energy. And Noah—broody, temperamental, secretly soft—trying (and failing) to pretend she doesn’t get under his skin? Yeah, I was gone immediately.

I loved watching Bea find her voice and real confidence after years of being dismissed. And Noah?? My man acts like he’s the villain until you look closer and realise he’s just touch-starved and misunderstood. Their dynamic is messy, sweet, and full of that slow-burn ache that makes you want to bonk their heads together.

Overall? A charming, emotional slow burn with great character growth and the kind of longing that hits you right in the chest. I closed the book smiling like an idiot.

This book is a delicious grumpy boss/assistant with a twist that I thought was done so well.

You don't need to have read the first book in the series to drive into this one. And I love how unique it was overlapping the two stories. I want you to read this, so I don't want to give too much away.

Beatrice (Bea) has grown up in a family that treats her like an object. She is to be seen and not heard and definitely not have any feelings for anything. Bea starts to realise that no one is coming to save her and if she wants freedom, she is going to have to get it herself. Noah assumes wrongly that the image of a happy if slightly dysfunctional family is the truth and writes Bea off as just another rich girl wanting to play at a job.
He is soon proven wrong and if anything, Bea is the only one who sees the real him and is still willing to stick around and help.
Yes, this is a super S L O W burn, but it is so worth it!

Everyone knows that falling for your ex-fiances brother is wrong. Especially when your ex-fiance married your sister. Ariana Cane writes the perfect enemies to lovers' story. Beatrice "Bea" wrong wasn’t eversupposedd to be Noah King's. She loathed the cocky, self-assured, yet devastatingly handsome billionaire. So when Bea waksout off hw
Rr sisters weddingleaving everythingg she knew behind, she never believed she would find herself working for the one man who made her blood boil. But if she wants to keep her apartment and not keep rationing ramen, she needs to keep this job. Between the wild goose chases around the city, to the ever building tension between her and Noah, Bea finds herself in the last place she'd ever though... falling in love....with her boss.

I was honored to get this as an ARC, and i was NOT disappointed! Ariana Cane captured me from the very first chapter. If you like enemies to lover's then this book is for you!

After escaping her controlling parents, Beatrice was determined to make it on her own and when an amazing job lined up she knew it was too good to be true.
When she found out she would be working for her arch nemesis she almost declined, but she was desperate.

Noah at first was against Bea working for him but then he figured he would just be so demanding she would fail and quit. Little did he know he finally met his match.

I absolutely loved the banter between Noah and Bea. They were exactly what each other needed. Noah was the first person besides her sister that saw her as a person and she knew how to tame the monster in Noah.
Bea saw past the architecture and understood what Noah was truly designing and in turn made him break down some of his walls for her.

I loved seeing the other characters from the first book.
Martin and his outrageous socks and need to be such an instigator. Her sister and Ezra are still happily married.
Another great world and story by Ariana Cane.

“A cinnamon roll wrapped in a bad-boy foil and sprinkled with tortured artist. How can any woman resist that?”

The second book in The Wrong Sisters series and it did not disappoint! We get a slooooooow burn, I’m talking 65% slow burn, and it was so worth it! Noah was so amazing, and I loved his crazy/sweet personality. Bea was absolutely adorable, and her wanting to prove herself/make it on her own was very commendable. I liked that we started out this book in the middle of the first book, and then had a timeline jump. It made everything flow nicely, and helped if it’s been a while since reading the first book. I cannot wait to get my hands on a physical copy of this book!

Thank you Ariana Cane for an advanced e-copy of the book!

This book was everything I hoped it would be. I’m an absolute sucker for two things—a good grump and the slowest of burns, and this one delivered both perfectly.

The writing was spot-on; the slow burn was done so well that it never crossed into frustrating territory (which, let’s be honest, can happen when they drag it out too long). It was the kind of story you can easily devour in one sitting.

I hadn’t read the first book, and honestly, I didn’t need to. The author clearly used part 1 in this book to set the scene, and it was easy to see how things were going to play out here.

Thank you to the author and Luna Literary Managemet for an eARC.

The Wrong Brother is the second book in The Wrongs series!! This book is the perfect example of the right person wrong time. Ariana Cane has continued to give us amazing book after amazing book and this one was no different!

Beatrice first crashes into Noah's world by tripping over his designer bag. Sparks start to fly between them and not the good kind. Noah was Beatrice's fiancé's brother which means he is off limits. The tension starts to heat up and the banter creates a dangerous flame with biting insults. Everything ignites even more when Beatrice ends up working for Noah as his assistant since no one else has been able to keep up with his demanding presence.

ARC Review
MY Rating: 3,5 stars

So, where do I start with this book? It took me a while to process and write a review because I felt that this book had so much potential. Before I tell you what I didn't like about it, I´m going to talk about the aspects that I loved in this book. I love the writing in this book. English is not my first language, so I found this really easy to read. I've read this one really fast; it took me about two days to finish this one ( keep in mind that I was working 8hours a day ). I love the story, the romance, the main characters, and the side characters.
Our Beatrice went through so much with that awful family. I loved it when she decided to put a stop to her family's obsessive control and hatred and finally took her life into her own hands. However, it wasn't easy for her; she struggled with so many things, but in the end, I think she got the ending she deserved! Our Noah had so many demons that he needed to fight against; he had so many bad habits, and not the best moods, and he was such a bitch towards Beatrice, but in the end, he became a better man because he decided to show the best parts of himself.
Now, the one thing that prevents me from giving this book 4 stars is the slow burn. Don't get me wrong, I knew this book was a slow burn, and I love slow burns, but man, this one is a slow, slow, slow burn. I was like 70% into the book, and nothing had happened, and when they get together, the first time, I think to myself, it's time... they are going to be together finally, nope, not what happened, and for me, the reasons were not good enough. I felt like it dragged a bit too much for my liking

It was a honour to read this book as a ARC! The wrong brother is about Noah and Bea. They crash into eachother and instant hatred igntes between them. She is his brothers wife to be, so off-limits..or is she?

After a bit the story goes from Tahiti to NYC. Where Bea starts to work as Noah’s assistant. The story started pretty slow for me but after we landed in NYC i was HOOKED. The hatred and tension was just right, the dark secrets exciting enough. I loveddd the “club” scene 🫣

Anyways if you like a slow enemies to lovers trope this is the book for you! Other tropes you’ll find in this book are: workplace romance (boss-assistant), family drama, jealousy and forced proximity.

Slow Burn Perfection

The Wrong Brother had everything my heart needed! It’s full of tension, top-tier banter, and the most delicious slow burn.

Bea and Noah jump straight into insta-hate, and it hooks you page one! Whether they’re giving each other a hard time or slowly letting their walls come down, their connection is undeniable. The banter? Absolute perfection. The tension? Impossible to walk away from.

I loved watching their growth and getting to see those walls come down bit by bit. Their chemistry just sucks you in. I absolutely loved this book and seriously couldn’t put it down!

Ariana does it again. She had me from the first moment when Bea tripped over Noah's luggage. This book may be a slow burn romance, but it was insta love at the first page for me! The only thing that would be "wrong" about this book is to not read it.

I laughed out loud at Bea and Noah's nicknames for each other of "Little Mouse" and "Caveman". Bea is my spirit FMC. She was quick witted with the snarky comebacks that she tossed at Noah's way. Having read book one, I do have to say that she and Ezra would have been a terrible match. Bea and Noah are perfect for each other.

Loved every moment of this book. Grab it now and get to know Bea and Noah.

This Romcom had it all, amazing characters, laughs, emotional turmoil and a very intense slow burn that I am sure had us readers craving that first electrifying kiss. And let me tell you, that first kiss was so worth the wait!

Bea and Noah have this intense love/hate relationship that constantly pulled them together whether they wanted it to or not. Their interactions were like oil and water but you could feel how much they were attracted to each other. The chemistry between these two continually oozed off the pages.

This was an absolutely fantastic story that I could not get enough of.

Loved it!

"The second Beatrice Wrong charges into the resort lobby like a storm in a sundress. I know this arranged marriage bullshit just got infinitely more complicated."

The wrong brother is 100000% slowburn. Insta lust but insta hate. A real enemies to lovers. These two had feelings from the start and hid their feelings behind their banter. Beatrice trying to get away from her crappy family and stand on her own. Noah Mr. Misunderstood full of anger, trying to create something of substance and meaning. They take their time and through circumstances learn things about each other and really strengthen their connection.  I absolutely love Ariana writing it's so emotional and she know how to pull on those heartstrings or make you crazy.

Thank you to Luna literary and Ariana for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

The MMC in this book was the perfect parts bad boy, morally grey, and sweet and thoughtful. I adored him. And the FMC was strong, clever, and resilient. There was nothing I didn't love about either of them. I will say, the beginning of this book seemed a tad slow to me, simply because it was a kind of review of events that had happened in the first book but from a different POV. Once we got passed that part though, I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed the first book in this series but I LOVED this one.

Ahhhh, the end of the Wrong saga 🥲
You boys and girls will be missed 😮‍💨

Bea is so damn funnyyyyy, I loved the banter she had with Noah.

I loved the slow burnnnn 🫦 the tension between them was tensing 🫦 the elevator scene was top notch. 🥵

I liked it when Bea had the snap moment with her parents and she finally realized her worth and lefttt them. Then with Noah also the same thing 🥹 Our girl is grown up now 🤭

I'm really hoping for a more extended epilogue to see how their relationship works out more in the future. 🥹🤞🏻

Omg!! I've been waiting for this book!!

It did not disappoint! I loved it!!

This book starts off during the middle of the first book. Then, there's a timeline jump, which was great because it made the whole book come together. So, if you didn't read the first book, you would follow along in this book easily!

Bea and Noah start off as enemies to lovers, and I could feel the tension! This is a slow burn, so there's definitely that build-up before they caved. I loved their chemistry!!

I recommend this book!

*ARC REVIEW*

I was kindly given an ARC of The Wrong Brother and this was great! the story was so interesting and I was hooked from the start! the tension and attraction between Bea and Noah was so strong and I was rooting for them from the beginning. the slow burn in this was AMAZING!! it was so worth the wait and waiting to see them together after all their moments. I loved all of Bea and Noah’s moments, they were funny but so sweet and genuine, especially when she was helping him. the way they both noticed things about each other and couldn’t stop thinking about each other🥹I felt every single emotion that Noah and Bea felt, I was put through the wringer but it was worth it to see their story. Bea was such a relatable character and I loved her and Noah was misunderstood but a good guy. really really enjoyed this book, didn’t want to put it down, it was so good! I found this book to be a solid read, but I’m not sure if I connected with the characters as much as I hoped. I wonder if I would have benefited from reading the first book first. The story begins immediately when Bea and Noah meet in Tahiti to attend Bea’s wedding to Noah’s brother, Ezra. There’s an instant attraction, but they know they must stay apart. However, all bets are off when Ezra unexpectedly marries Bea’s sister, Maeve. This part of the story felt abrupt and disjointed as a summary. Despite parting ways, their lives intersect again when Bea gets a job as Noah’s assistant. I found their banter hilarious, but it was difficult to connect with both characters on a deeper level. The plot and characters felt superficial, and I also didn’t always vibe with the classic trope of the assistant hooking up with the billionaire boss. Sometimes it felt a bit icky. I would have liked to delve deeper into both main characters’ backgrounds and family stories. Overall, it wasn’t a bad story, but it wasn’t my favorite.
