This is for the review from vol 1-3
At first, I wasn’t too enamored about the character design of Koton and thought there would be a lot of delinquents’ fistfights based on the sample of 30 pages or so, so I had been ignoring this series despite the good ratings. My mind changed when the sample got extended to Koton playing basketball and thought it would be about him stopped fighting so much and started playing basketball (no, it’s not), so I bought the series eventually. I also thought that Kabu the ghost is really not a ghost but just in coma like countless other BL manga that play this trope. The story keeps saying Kabu has really died but I’m still not 100% sure….
The author showing Koton’s half naked muscular body from time to time is definitely a plus 🥰
I’m really curious how this story will end as the author said it would be a happy ending but I also really hope that it would not be the same old waking-up-from-coma ending.
This is my 500th BL manga read in Japanese! Yay!
