Chaos in Blooom: Part 2: Beauty, Breakdowns, and Beginnings

Rate this book
Emma Hartgrave was never supposed to fall for her bandmate—especially not him.
Liam Teller is moody, brilliant, and maddening. All sharp edges and stolen glances.
On stage, they're electric. In the studio, unstoppable.
Offstage? A slow-motion heartbreak waiting to happen.

One impulsive kiss leads to one unforgettable night—
and a friends-to-lovers romance that follows them from Coachella to late-night tour buses,
from cramped flights to press conferences that ask all the wrong questions.

As fame surges and pressure mounts, Emma and Liam must
Protect the dream they've built,
or risk everything for a love that could tear it all apart.

From the chaos of tour life and sold-out shows
to whispered promises under city lights,
this is a story about timing, ambition, and the love you can’t walk away from—no matter how hard you try.

For fans of Daisy Jones & The Six and The Idea of You,
this aching, slow-burn rockstar romance will leave you breathless, wrecked,
and believing in loves that walk with you while you chase your dreams.

I’ve always been a storyteller at heart. From writing poetry that found its way onto websites to crafting articles, editing, and even working as a publishing manager for a children’s book company—I’ve had my hands in words for a while. But now? Now I’m diving headfirst into my own love stories, and I’m finally releasing my debut romance novel, Through the Glory and the Mess: A Hartgrave Tellers Story in July 2025.

It’s a story that blends everything I love: music, drama, and the kind of fiery, complicated relationships that remind me of Fleetwood Mac. If you’re a Swiftie, a Bridgerton girlie, or someone who loves a bit of rockstar romance with a side of chaos—you just might fall in love with this one too.

When I’m not writing, you can find me designing, painting, singing, or lost in a superhero movie marathon (because yes, I’m a geek girl through and through). Nothing beats a night of writing with my favourite playlist on repeat.

So, welcome to my little corner of the literary world. I can’t wait to share my stories with you. Let’s get lost in the romance together.

Chaos in Bloom part 2 falls somewhere between a 3 and 4 star read in part due to another large page count. Though its well over 400 pages, and not a heck of a lot happened that didn’t in part 1 already, it didn't feel any of those 400 pages. I blew through it just from anticipation of Liam and Emma finally, finally, oh dear lord please, do SOMETHING already!!!!! One critique I had of part 1 was wanting more of the other band mates, which the author delivered here in part 2. I think that is why I didn’t lose patience at some redundant scenes from book 1 that kept the story on a slower pace. I love a good slow burn, but we do need movement eventually. They can only stare lovingly across a room so many times before something has to give! The band goes on the road and has some crazy antics opening for a seasoned band which we experience throughout part 2. There is a pretty nasty scene where an after show party turns violent and Emma is punched by the male singer from that band. While this fight between the bands eventually somehow turns political/philosophical,it started with a man inappropriately coming on to a woman when she has said repeatedly she’s not interested. Then same man punches her in face! Big afterschool special moment missed. The ending is open, again, and I just realized these are basically full length prequel or something. Hoping in the next, which is actually book 1, we get some story movement.
Thanks to BookSirents for this ARC, as always these views are honest and my own.

I swear with every book Aya publishes my addiction grows. The complexity between all the characters and the tension between Emma and Liam keeps me hooked from the jump. I can’t get enough. I’m so in love with this series and HGT and I can’t wait for the rest of the books to come out. ❤️❤️

Well, I felt that this part 2 was a more enjoyable read than part 1, although most of it was very similar to part 1, just waiting to see what progresses between Emma and Liam. This is my favorite genre, rockstar romance so that helped me with this read. I hope the next in the series will some to some conclusion and not b such a long read. Thank you BookSirens for the copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
