You will have to really suspended your disbelief about what happens to guys sister...otherwise it's competently written dramatic slice of life about dragon riding, probably one of the better takes on the genre without it focusing on the mc's power-set. It's an eclectic mix of the farming and academy genres...chemistry is fine, the poly was a little odd with how pushy the first LI was. If you get past the sister thing it's worth your time.

Well here it is number one book of the year without a doubt from the strength of the character's ,the story line that is up and down with everything you don't want to miss. I don't suggest that you read this book, I almost demand which is a strong word but trust me you will thank me. CAN'T WAIT for the book !!!!!!

This book was not for me. The base plot of this book was good. It’s what kept me reading, but I will not be continuing on the next one. It felt like it was written by a 17 year old boy. Very “you’re the chosen one” feeling, and not in a good way. The love story didn’t feel real to me at all. I gave this a 3 instead of a 2 because I did cry at one point, and that deserves a kuddos.

That Ending!

I went from downright blubbering-at-a-kids-movie sad to raging and lighting mental pitchforks in the space of a few pages. I suspected it was something foul, but that confirmation just sealed it!

Where the heck is the rest of the series?! I need to read how Draven gets dealt with.

greed is a story we all know but the story of those that suffer is epic in its telling.

Dragon needs

This story is a new look at the results of a dragons life . Covering birth until the end. As a good storyline goes you are lead up to the end of the story.

Simply Amazing

The whole book! So good! The characters, the dragons, Will constantly screwing up Soren’s last name! Probably one of the best books I’ve read in the past 5 years!!

Excellent storyline

I loved the characters, but the storyline was fantastic. With or without the spice, it carries itself. The world and dragon lore are really cool
